Told me they had the vaccine but no appointments and that I can’t make an appointment - to just keep checking online. (Online shows they have No appointments indefinitely).. I might understand if it was busy, but there wasnt anyone there.. In the time it took to tell me this, could have gotten the shot and been done.

Hannafords in Exeter nh. Is so welcoming! I walk through the door and it instantly smells of fall favorites! The store is so clean and the associates are very friendly and helpful! My favorite Hannafords store to shop!!

Hannaford To Go has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. I never thought Id like people selecting my fresh produce but Im never disappointed! Everyone is very nice and polite too! Between shopping like this and visiting local farms I dont think Ill ever shop inside a grocery store again! Time saver for sure!!!

Hannafords is a great place to shop. The prices may be a little higher but the employees are great and the store is always clean and well stocked.

Looked for sale items, but they werent in stock. Why is that? Same result between 2 different locations.

This is the first time I have been there. Store was cleaned well-staffed and followed CDC guidelines. They had some nice buys on certain items. A few things are a little pricey but overall great shopping experience.

Very good, clean place. Some good deals, some too expensive. Not as cheap as market basket but it is a nicer place and not as crowded. Their produce is better at Hannaford too.

Always clean. Employees are super helpful. They have a good selection of all different kinds of foods from organic produce to vegan meat to more traditional food.

If I could have a star that represents how poor of a service I got here it would be in the negatives. it is unexceptable. The employees are not friendly at all and are so ignorant to get their GUESTS OUT. I have never felt so unwelcome in a supermarket. Customer service is still a thing and I knoe that for a fact because I work at a grocery store. One of the employees were in such a rush they were piling their groceries on top of mine. I would never shop here again after this . I hope others realize how bad the customer service is and stops shopping here.

Second time using Hannaford to go and it went just as smoothly. They had to substitute a couple of items and did a great job choosing.

Relatively clean but lacks in the meat department. The ToGo is an amazing opportunity but they fail to provide the quality produce you might select for yourself and always seem to have availability problems. If you just need a few things at competitive prices its an OK supermarket to pop in to but I dont recommend doing your weekly shopping requirements here.

Rude staff. Ignore their customers. Long waiting and lots of chatting amung the managers. The cashiers work hard to the point that theyre overwhelmed as ther fellow employees stand in the background laughing and chatting.

Good size super market with plenty of products. A small amount of natural and gluten free products, a decent produce, bakery and deli area. Some specialty cheeses and an olive bar are nice to have. Lines werent long and they do have self checkout and express lanes.

Very ckean, neat and organized store. It wasnt over crowded. Customers were friendly. Staff went out of their way to ask if you were finding what you needed. They engaged in friendly discussion. It was my first time at this location and I couldnt find a carriage so I asked one of the guys bagging groceries and he was just finishing up an order. He told me I could use a carriage near him and ran to get me a sanitized cloth to wipe down the handle. I was very relieved and impressed with his kindness. The cashier was also helpful when the register didnt accept my rewards phone number. She retyped the number and waited patiently as the computer was running slow and it worked! Good thing because my order was over $300! I only shop every 2-3 weeks because I care for a sick family member. Thanks to all the hard workers at the Exeter Hannaford for a great experience!

Just moved from dover to the newmarket and this was my first time at the exeter Hannaford. Honestly cant say I would think to review a grocery store but these guys were great. My boyfriend very specifically like his meat from the deli sliced up into tiny pieces and most times I have trouble finding a place who knows what I am talking about and this lady got it spot on. Then we are trying to incorporate more fish into our diet and the man at that station was also more than helpful. A woman in the aisle helped me find another item and the bagger and cashier were very friendly. The bagger even ran out to the parking lot to catch the woman in line behind me because she forgot a bag of groceries. What a pleasant Sunday experience!

Always enjoy my time shopping at this Hannaford. My husband goes to Market Basket. I have gone with him several times. But, we feel you cant beat Hannaford rotisserie chicken. Their produce is the best.Best meat and fish. So we split and shop at both. (Sorry but cut flowers are a better buy at Market Basket).

Did a Hannaford pickup there on June 12th. One of the items was an Oakhurst Orange Juice (Pint size). Unloading the groceries when I got home I saw that the juice had an expiration date of June 10th. While everything else was great there and has been in the past, it is concerning that they have things that are expired for several days and have not pulled them. Would recommend people check the dates on everything they get from the place.

It is a really nice grocery store with a big variety of items for sale at good prices.

The manager had no concerns for anyone other than her chats about her social personal life. Elderly people bagging their produce while there was no one ro help due to playing around. When attention was brought to her she had no care.

Yes it is a little more expensive then market basket. But it is a nice store.

Overpriced, I thought Shaws was bad. Got a quick office birthday cake one time, the girl at the bakery forgot the i in Birthday when writing on the cake. Ugh

The Hannaford Markets are the best. I don’t always try for the cheapest price, but the most comfortable. And that means not the most expensive either. Hannaford is always clean, they have a great produce section and somehow they have found a way to train their employees to be smiling, friendly, and helpful. I drive by two of their competitors to get to my Hannaford and I do it with ease. If you’ve not compared yet, please do.

Good place to find items other supermarkets dont stock. Fody marinara sauce, Siete chips, and Three Sisters coffee to name a few. Probably have to hit at least 2 area stores to complete a full grocery run. Definitely more expensive than Market Basket. Worth shopping though. The self checkout is nice.

Store is clean. The employees are helpful. The produce is usually in great shape. There is a great selection, but you wont be able to find exotic stuff. Usually not too busy, and the lines are totally manageable as well.

I love their meat counter! If I need a special cut of meat, and its not on the aisle, theyll cut it for me. If they dont have what I need, I can order it and pick up in a few days.And their produce department is great! If I only need a couple of carrots or stalks of celery, they usually have just what I need, so I dont have to buy an entire bag.The only drawback is I find most of their prices higher than Market Basket

Running errands yesterday, I was planning to hit at least three stores for what was on my list. Im happy I went to this Hannaford first--they had everything I needed! I use a lot of natural home products that are cruelty-free, septic safe, etc., and was shocked at this particular Hannafords extensive selection of products from awesome brands like Mrs. Meyers and Method. This store showcases produce and flowers from local farms, too :) Perfect sunflowers for just $5!

This is just the most poorly managed grocery store Ive ever experienced and I have reached out more than once to explain my disappointment. The employees are great but management is very poor. Consistently every single time I go there (no matter what time of day), I wait in line as there is only one register open. Then when I get to the cashier, no one is there to bag the groceries so the process takes double the time. In addition no one has taught these people how to bag groceries so often times my meat or bread is underneath something big and heavy and becomes punctured. I roll my eyes every time I go there because the incompetence of the front house management is so obvious. Also, they always ask me if I found everything I was looking for. Every single time I say no I did not. Then I proceed to explain what I didnt find and sometimes even fill out a form describing what I was looking for. They never get the items I asked for. Needless to say, Im done with Hannaford and they will lose $250 per week due to their poor management. The only thing they have going for them is an on the ball meat department. Bye Bye Hannaford, youre the worst!

Ill be honest here. My 5 star rating is based entirely on the abundance of small carts and the layout of the parking lot. Its a grocery store much like any other, but the tiny carts do so much to ease traffic in the aisles its like a dream. The parking lot has extra space around your car and you dont find yourself fighting with other drivers to get in and out. If you hate going to the grocery store like I do, then this is the place for you!

Hannaford always has a good selection of basic and sustainable products. Is a good place to shop for the whole family. Sometimes produce section is a little lacking but other than that its a great go to grocery.

Clean, good produce selection and friendly staff. Prices are a little high. Only shop there when I need something right away. Probably the nicest Hannaford in the area. Nice mood lighting.

Nice store convenient to town

The employees are always friendly and helpful. I feel like Im among good neighbors. the store doesnt feel crowded unlike the other food store in the area. The prices are moderate and there are a variety of items including organic and grutin free items.

Ive had some issues with the Hannaford To-Go service, but manager Bryan is extremely caring and addresses any concerns to make your experience a good one. I will be giving the service a try again and hope that they work out the kinks because Hannaford produce and meat is the freshest around.

This store is always clean and has a great selection. I do really like their food bar, hot food, sandwiches made to order, sushi and more which is perfect when youre in a rush. The only thing I hate about Hannaford is that their prices are kind outrageous.

This Hannafords is fantastic. Choices here are in abundance from prepared foods and a cozy eating area if you choose to eat there to the produce and bakery items. The store is very well kept, the staff is knowledgeable, helpful and courteous.

I couldnt find an item I wanted and the store manager Bryan looked into it and even followed up with a phone call to let me know the product was back in stock and that the label had been changed. Excellent!

Very clean easy to find what you are looking for.Great selection of premade package food along with a great hot and cold salad bar where the hot food is changed regularly.I also love the new Hannaford reward program where you save money and also earn cash quarterly.

This is a standard Hannaford Supermarket. They have brought great expectations and meet them. Sometimes it can be hard to find someone help you locate something. Deli and meat counter staff are friendly and helpful. There is usually a line at checkout, although not long, its rare I get a cashier that isnt busy in a standard lane (non express).

Much better produce and selection than Market Basket (especially that dump about 1/2 mile down the road on the other side of Rt 101). However, while many of the stores are very tidy, this store needs to clean up its shelves; dried up mud on some of them- and also, very dusty, came across soup product that expired more than a year ago! Not my experience at several other Hannafords, just this location.

Great store. Much fresher produce than the other local supermarkets in the area (other than On The Vine which I would have to say is the best). You do pay a bit more for it though.

Seems well staffed except cashiers. Produce is better than other local supermarkets. You have to go through the express line if you have a customer service issue. I noticed more than a few mislabeled items (the item on the shelf vs the pricing sticker directly below.) The pharmacy staff is friendly, but there is generally only one person working.EDIT: Forgot to mention - they are severely overpriced compared to Market Basket or Shaws. I no longer go to any Hannaford.

Not my favorite place to do food shopping. I find this store very overwhelming and there is always a very loud humming or buzzing throughout the store that they tried to cover up with the music. The lighting makes me dizzy. As for the food, everything is always clean and seemingly fresh.
