If the owner reads this review and responds, they will do a better job describing the 🍨 ice-cream. I will say it tasted good 😋!There was a line to get in. They will service one customer or party at a time. The front is blocked off by a table.Facemasks are required to enter. They accept credit/debit cards.I recommend a visit.

I knew I wasnt going to the Ritz. I was going for some wonderful homemade type ice cream in a small shop and that is what I got! I lived in NH years ago. I couldnt wait to get some Maple Walnut ice cream on my return visit. I was not disappointed!!! Thank you for having such tasty ice cream for ice cream lovers. I wish you could mail be some to enjoy again.

Great ice cream at a great price! Its not often you get high quality, good quantity, and affordable, but Stillwells always delivers. If youve never tried the crybaby Italian ice and you like slightly sour things, its a personal favorite. Thanks Stillwells!

We visited 8/6/21 with food-allergic son. The three employees werent able to tell us which flavors did/didnt have eggs in them, and did not have basic allergen information or ingredient lists available. They were not helpful, though one did pull up a tub and said there was nothing written on it. I tried looking up ingredients online at Stillwells and Richardsons websites, but info wasnt available. Followup with owner was hostile on both sides. We were told to never come back, among other things.Most ice cream shops we visit have basic allergen information on hand that allows us to make a choice about whether its a place we feel comfortable ordering. I hope Stillwells will take positive steps towards inclusivity by having information available, and will provide allergen training for their employees.EDIT TO ADD:It sounds like there are some pretty major misunderstandings going on here. If owner wants to talk to me to clear them up I am open to it.EDIT TO ADD: owner is harassing me online, sending threatening emails, targeting my company, social media as well as posting false information about me and my place of business.

Dirty place inside and outside. 3 people working inside…. Actually 2 are talking and 1 is serving ice cream and taking orders*Edit: Ever since I posted my honest opinion, I am being harrassed online! The employees here are amazing, I didnt have enough money for a smoothie and a water, they were so kind and gave me a water on a very hot 85° out. By the way, the smoothie was amazing and I will be returning for a second. As a delivery driver water is a necessity, unfortunately i drank all of them 🙂 Thank you for your kindness in a world full of chaos 🙂BTW, some of the reviews on here are cruel, how about some people understand not everything is of their control???Dont let those reviews get you down, keep doing what you do great 🙂

I love it here, ice cream is amazing, great selection and pretty generous scoops. Finally its a wonderful location in town. Parking can be tricky and have had to go cash only on occasion, or long lines, but its an Exeter institution.

We frequent your place often in the summer. the ice cream is great. We tried to go on Saturday but the teenagers were crowded around the front door, not conforming to the social distancing policies. If that continues we will not be back.

I ordered one hot fudge sundae and a regular strawberry sundae. The strawberry sundae had hot fudge in it that was not what I ordered. The girl made a mistake she knew it... so she should have fixed it right away but she didnt. The first time I went there had a problem as well . I wont be good back again

This place is always jam packed! The service is so fast and the portions are great. Everything tastes fresh, and never has an ounce of freezer burn on it! Id definitely recommend coming at a time when the academy is in session, as this is a hotspot once it gets out. The lines are out the door!

I have gone with my family on a few occasions and each time was disappointed with the number of irresponsible takeout dishes provided. The amount of styrofoam being used in your store was disheartening and has resulted in me looking to other businesses that are more environmentally responsible to support. It would be great to see you provide your customers with only environmentally responsible options for takeaway dishes for their treats, this could be compostable containers and cutlery. I would love to support your local business again in the future when the changes are made that also support a cleaner environment. I’ve never actually seen stillwell’s in person, yet I have heard only good thing. I have asked numerous girls to go with me, but all have politely declined. I hope that one day I may taste their ice cream, and feel the warmth of a lover.

Many flavors to choose from for the hard ice-cream. Grateful they started selling soft serve as well, since last year. Ice-cream tastes great! Price are a little high, but you get pretty good serving sizes. Just wish the inside was bigger and handicap accessible.

Great Ice Cream, poor customer service. The ice cream was great although the service, not so much. I went in @ 330 on a Monday and ordered a large cookie dough with rainbow sprinkles, mini M&Ms and hot fudge (the reason I went there was for the hot fudge as its not the same frozen). I get home to realize Im not seeing any hot fudge... I called and asked if its usually on the bottom, she said No its usually on top do you not see it? When I said no she said Oh it must not have been heard, is there anything else I can do for you? 1st of all, I was the only one in the store so for them to forget is ridiculous. The girl behind the counter even asked the girl making the ice cream after I ordered it Did you hear that? She responded Yes. Lesson to be learned here is always repeat what the customer orders to the one making it so there isnt any confusion. I now have a large cookie dough ice cream that I could have gotten a Gallon of at Hannaford for half the price... Didnt even offer to fix the situation.... Thats what happens when kids are left to run a business. Like I said great Ice cream,just make sure you get what you pay for.

Αwesome ice cream from Richardsons Farms. The best mocha chip I have ever had on the east coast if I may say so. I used to take the hour plus long ride to go to the farm in Middleton, MA but since Stillwells opened I can enjoy the same quality, shorter lines and great service in my own town.

Great selection of flavors. Great prices and amazing portions. Seriously, dont order a large unless youre ready for a lot of ice cream. Can get a little crowded on hot summer afternoons, but its easily worth the wait.

The young lady working behind the counter on Sunday July 28th with the black shirt was extremely RUDE. Dirty looks, and acting frustrated because I was asking my daughter what size cone she wanted. The ice cream is good, so I will give it that! However she was irritated, rolled her eyes to let me know she was annoyed. Then she was rude to the person holding the door for his wife. She yells, you need to close that door!! He said one second, she said it needs to be closed now! Disgusting rude attitude to paying customers.

I love their Italian ices! So cool and refreshing on these hot, humid, summer days! The lemon is excellent, tastes like fresh squeezed lemons!

Best ice cream around and huge portions for a great price! Love this place.Update 4/7/17: Went there again tonight and they changed the prices and we got this (both are supposed to be size Baby). Pretty disappointed that theres so much variation between scoopers, not to mention the price change. Prices now dont include tax, which makes for awkward change. Id rather they just raise prices $0.25 or $0.50 to include tax and make an even number for change. Stillwells, please reconsider this. We still love your ice cream!

Deceptive sizes - I asked for a kiddie without looking at their sizing chart and saw them topping off the cone with two large scoops. I had to ask them to remove the second scoop and it was still bigger than what I wanted, and they didnt offer a partial refund. There are TWO sizes smaller than a kiddie which I think is what makes it deceptive. Every shop I have ever been to calls their smallest size a kiddie. Stupid to be upset over too much ice cream perhaps but it wasnt what I expected or thought I was asking for, and I paid too much. The ice cream itself was good.

Went in for ice cream. Ordered a kiddie size twist soft serve in a dish with peanut butter sauce and cool whip. Got twist with caramel with no peanut butter sauce and no cool whip. The price is very reasonable. Staff is rude and snotty. Will not be going back again.
