What a treat! Staff was very kind and friendly. The chocolate was fabulous. The smell in the shop alone is worth the visit. I am picky about my chocolate. I bought 6 pieces hoping It would last 2 days. They were gone before dinner. I did not share. Wish I lived closer.

I have been buying chocolates etc at the Chocolatier since my oldest was born 34 years ago for every Easter, Valentines day etc for our 3 children. They grew up eating this delicious chocolate and would never settle for anything else even in their adulthood now.We have had Perugian chocolate from Italy, Swiss chocolate and others when traveling but none has even come close to the Chocolatier chocolate. It is so creamy and delicious, their nuts and other items as well, all so good.I will be there tomorrow buying some for our friends 35th Anniversary to go along with their Prosecco. Thank you .

Such a cute chocolate shop and best of all so DELICIOUS! As soon as you walk in you are immersed in the sweet sweet smell of fresh made chocolate products. It is a smaller shop but they have a way to make everything look very presentable and cute but not cluttered. We could not decide what to get and the worker was so helpful giving us suggestions and recommendations answering all questions we had. We ended up getting personal truffle and bark and turtle boxes. The price was not bad, a little on the expensive side but well worth the taste and experience.

At first I was disappointed after receiving my first purchase from them and decided to leave a review. I was upset at the size of 1/2 of my order and stated that looks can be very deceiving and to be aware of that when shopping at chocolate shops.Not only did they give me the option to return the chocolates (still sealed) despite it being a busy Valentines day, but after leaving my review the Manager contacted me to further discuss the issue I had with my order. The Chocolatier refunded me for my entire order and didnt expect me to return anything at all. Never have I ever, come across such an amazing small business with such wonderful customer service. Despite me leaving a honest yet low star review, they still decided to reach out to me and offered me more than I had even expected. My issue was minor and only had to do with a certain box of chocolates I had received out of two other items. After my first purchase at the Chocolatier I can assure you this is my new favorite spot for sweets. The chocolate was never the issue and in fact makes it difficult for this business to disappoint.I am still in shock at how caring and giving the chocolatier is and because of having such a wonderful experience with my first purchase, I will most definitely be back. You cannot beat outstanding customer service!!

Less than a week before Christmas I bought multiple items that I needed shipped. They arrived in time for Christmas very well protected in bubble wrap. Everything (chocolate covered gummy bears, chocolate covered potato chips, sea-salt milk chocolate caramels, a solid chocolate deer/angel, peppermint bark, and a one pound non-pareil. Everything is absolutely delicious. I have been trying to limit the sea-salt caramels to one a day, but....OMG! Reasonably priced and amazing customer service. I will definitely be back. Cant wait until travel bans are lifted so I can go in the store.

I grew up in Exeter and every Autumn would be treated to a caramel and dark chocolate covered apple from The Chocolatier. I remember them to be the perfect balance of tart and sweet and associate then with the fondest memories. I only got one specialaspecial a year so I would try and prolong it a few days by keeping it in the fridge and only indulging in a slice or two after school. Now I live 2000 miles away and while a few places nearby create a similar treat, none can compare to The Chocolatier.

You will find The Chocolatier on the North side of Water St, a few storefronts down from the Exeter River Bridge. They have some of the best Chocolate I have tasted. When in town check them out a discover your favorite sweet.

Walk in and inhale the smell of heavenly chocolate. Lots of other candies and fudge too. Kiddie grab bags were a hit with my grandkids.

Simply the best chocolate I have ever had. I come to this shop for all gift giving occasions. They wrap and ship!

When they are in season, they have the best caramel apples. They are dipped in caramel, dipped in chocolate, and then rolled in nuts. Theyre amazing!

This place is simply amazing. My family is from Exeter and I was spoiled as a young child by having candy form here. Literally no other candy can compare. We have moved all over the U.S. and always order candy from here to be shipped for holidays and special occasions. They have a wonderful selection that is high quality. The staff is always friendly and amazing. My order ships and arrives quickly and is always packed to accommodate for the weather. When I share this yumminess, everyone wants to know where it is from because it is that GOOD. You cant go wrong with any item :) The website does not have everything, so call and check!
