Awesome little ice cream place! I’ve been here a few times and there is usually always a line but it does move fairly quickly. They have a ton to choose from. My favorite is the sangria with added strawberries, very refreshing. Also a great one is a reverse banana split. I wish they had dipped cones but unfortunately they don’t.

It was awesome! They had/there was a band playing there, Tumbleweed!! Last weekend they are open for the season. Some Customers had Halloween 🎃 Costumes 👻 on!!!

Im not lactose intolerant by any means & have zero underlying health issues.. but I always feel nauseous and sick after eating their ice cream. Not sure if its their sugar content or something else they put in their ice cream. My daughter always wants to go and honestly, Id rather drive out to Candy Man in Lawson or go to the local grocery store and grab ice cream from there.

Used to be a lot faster. There was a pretty long line and they only had one window open.

Nice outdoor walk up ice cream shop with soft serve and hard scoop available. Dari-B sangria is a refreshing non-ice cream choice. Also we had heard cash only but saw a sign for square in their window so credit cards may now be an option.

I read somewhere Dairy B was a top 5 ice cream shop in KC Metro and surrounding area. Not hard to believe! Affordable, quality ice cream treats and a vast menu. Something about the place reminds me of going for an ice cream with my grandpa about 30 years ago! Small town treasure at it’s finest ☺️ one request, would you consider waffle cones they are my fav!!!

This place is a joke! I took my daughter there and got a small milkshake and a large strawberry sweet tea and it cost $14! For what? Because they have 7 people in there tripping over each other, 2 of them are actually working, Ill be going a few more blocks next time and hit Sonics

Large assortment of flavors for sundaes and other ice cream treats. Sometimes very busy and orders can take a while when lines are long. Good value compared to todays prices elsewhere.

Yummy ice cream! I was exceptional when it got new management but they do a great job running the store! Only 3 stars right now because the listening skills aren’t the best. Both of my wizards were messed up but it’s okay, they were busy!

Excelsior staple. Amazing menu from a business thats been there basically forever. Creamy ice cream, I recommend the upside down banana split. I always store whenever Im in the area.

IT was better this year than ever they have vanilla and chocolate ice-cream and they make the best peanut butter Sundays and they put a lot of peanut butter topping on chocolate ice-cream if you want it!!! IT IS FANTASTIC!!!

Most favorite icecream place still. From milkshake, sundae, icecream bar, sugar cone, soft & hard serve, soda floats, banana splits and more. This is a must try place!!! The flavors choices are massive. Some with, brownie chunks, strawberries, cherries , shortcake and on and on. So many toppings and flavor to choose from. Marshmallow, Caremel, fudge, strawberry, pecan, nuts, raspberry, blackberries, cherries, penutbutter, banana, butter pecan..... This place is the best!!!

We were told that this is a must have when visiting Excelsior Springs and I will agree. We went after lunch to avoid the very long line we saw the night before. The workers were quick and very friendly. I had a butterscotch malt and it was perfectly made. Would love to go back and try some of their other items on the menu. All the prices were below what youd pay at other chain ice cream shops.Only downside is they are CASH ONLY so be sure to stop at the ATM before you go.

Definitely appears to be the towns favorite little gem. It was really busy! Ice cream was pretty good and it didnt seem like their intention was to price-gouge tourists.As one of those tourists, I had no idea what to order. Many clever items, but no pictures or descriptions to help make it clearer. And, you cant really read the large menu until its your turn. Small gripe.Go get some ice cream!

Dont like their new prices.To Dairy B reply, I paid $2.25 last year for large cup of soft ice cream, this year it was $2.45 and less in cup.

I love malts and they have them! This was my first time there and it definitely will not be my last. I ordered a large Blackberry malt and it was excellent! They have a dizzying selection of items to choose from, All desserts or treats. She recommended I look at the side window which has a condensed version of theyre main items. Just a heads up, they only take cash. I handed her my debit card and she told me cash only. She apologized. All I had was a $100 bill, but luckily she was able to break it. Enjoy!

Stopped to enjoy the evening with my family. We all had a twist cone and all the cones were stale! For the price and the fact that its a small town shop thats main goal should be quality, it was a big let down again. I love small town. I dont mind the extra price. My family and i frequented the Scoop in Richmond. I knew it was more expensive but had no problem paying because its quality and customer service was top notch.

I rate this place four stars ONLY because they exclusively do cash. If they had a debit/ credit option I would give them five stars. I believe their food (being Frozen stuff like ice cream) deserves that rating. Plus they seem to use real fruit.

Quaint little cream shop. Old fashion look. Order while standing outside reminded me of my childhood. I cream was yummy. Plenty to choose from on the menu. Prices were reasonable and staff are amazing. I will be making a few more Day trips to Excelsior Springs just to stop here.
