I love this place! We came for just the cheese bread bowl. The spicy creamy cheese is out of this world!The pumpkin bread pudding was absolutely delicious. They have the most delicious sandwiches, that all have a twist. Like pear...who would guess it is AMAZING. This place is worth driving to visit! Bread is chewy on outside and soft fluffy inside.

A must visit! Owners were friendly and helpful, truly appreciative of the patronage. From the outside the place looks small, but once you enter you see the massive selection on Missouri wines and spirits, along with other boutique gift shops items. To the back and down the staircase is a bistro serving fresh delicious items. I’ve never ordered egg salad in my life, until now. The owners daughter mentioned it’s her favorite and I took her recommendation. So delicious! The Spinach salad was the best I’ve had. Don’t miss this gem.

This place was sooooo charming. Bread was delicious and so was the egg salad sandwich. Wasnt super fond of the soup but it was okay. Overall an amazing experience.

Absolutely fantastic. Fun atmosphere. Our family tried a wrap, a pizza and a sandwich. All were exceptional. Unique side dishes. Attentive staff. And dont skip the bread pudding!!!

The owners are the most down-to-earth friendly folks youll ever meet. The food was great and all freshly made. The wait staff was helpful and friendly. And if you liked the wines you tried with your meal, you can buy a bottle from their shop. We will definitely be back!

First visit here, today. What a fun and fabulous place. Everyone serving was helpful and pleased to do so. And the food? Even if the people were terrible and it wasnt such a fun place... You should go!! The good is perfectly done.

Very lovely quaint place, exceptionally nice owners and staff and I would describe the food as upscale comfort. I had lavender sweet tea, chicken salad on a delicious croissant, and a side of well prepared quinoa salad. Husband had the chicken pesto wrap that was very tasty as well and a side of veggie soup Ends with a couple of kisses. Back upstairs you pay your bill and shop ALL things Missouri very cool.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The food, service, atmosphere, and handcrafted old fashioned sodas as all above and beyond! My husband and I visited Excelsior Springs for the first time for a weekend trip and ended up eating here two days in a row because the food was the best weve ever had. We ordered many things from the menu and every single thing was so fresh and not like any food you can get anywhere else. The whole staff are all so friendly and make you feel like family, we felt at home from the minute we stepped in the doors. If you are visiting for the first time or live in Excelsior Springs and have never been here, you have to stop by here and try this food! You will not be sorry and Im sure this will be just as wonderful for you as it was for us! We will be returning to Excelsior Springs again soon just to eat here again :)

This place is great! Only thing I dislike is that I didnt know this place was here sooner! Fantastic lunch, large selection of local wines, and a great selection of local spirits.

Fun little place to try and buy wine. However, go downstairs and enjoy some of their cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by the options and quality. Very tasty! My wife even brought home some of their salad dressing, it was that good. If your in town look no further for a lunch treat.

This is a great place to go in and eat and find the spirits youre looking for. They have multiple types of moonshine beers ales and wine made in the Missouri area

Such a quaint and unique space. Definitely get the bacon cheddar dip appetizer! I love the tropical chicken salad sandwich on the croissant, and the apple coleslaw is also delicious!!! Donna is our favorite server but everyone has been wonderful to us there.

I go with my wife to this lovely spot quite often! This is the best place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place at least once a month. The meals are excellent, the staff is welcoming and the price is affordable. I enjoy eating in this spot over a decent dinner.

I just love this place so much! The food is fantastic and the staff are very nice. Lots of things to look at- the wine selection, food items, the building itself! You can tell that a lot of care goes in to the plating of your food, and did I mention that it is delicious?! Excelsior Springs is lucky to have such a unique place.

Willow Springs is a great place to have lunch or try a wine or beer. During festivals downtown they often have sangria which is always great. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Everyone is family in there. I have been there several times to buy gifts: there is a great variety of coffees and teas, chocolates, and other gift items. If you are visiting Excelsior Springs, this is a must stop.

I absolutely loved this place. They had so many healthy food options and a great selection of wine. The staff also goes above and beyond for their customers which made me love it even more. For example, they didnt have avocado available so the manager ran home, grabbed one of her personal ones, and served it to us. Definitely recommend you stop to eat and drink here.

The willow spring Mercantile is amazing. We have been visiting excelsior springs for 5 years and always make time for lunch here.We have enjoyed everything on the menu and my favorite is the peach nectar tea. I have to take the desert to go since we are always full (salted carmel brownie) upstairs you can taste test local wines and liquors. We seem to purchase some as well!!. Thank you for staying in excelsior springs!!! When you get to Iowa come visit our ranch for a trail ride!!

The best eatery in town. Their personal pizzas are to die for and they have an amazing variety of local wines and liquor. If you visit this place, dont forget to try their wonderful roasted pecans. I couldnt stop eating them.

There are only a few places in Excelsior worth eating at and this is one. Great service the owners always remember me and what weve talked about in the past. Very knowledgeable about the alcohol they carry and they have a great selection; always something new. Love the bands they have. The food is fresh and fantastic. Its one if our favorite places to get hot chocolate or chai tea in the winter and sit and listen to music.

We walked in the door and were immediately greeted with warmth and a desire to help. The friendly, caring service continued downstairs in the restaurant. A sandwich with a side was very reasonable- just under $10 with no upcharge for gluten free bread. (They were extremely helpful in getting me a meal that was gluten free and dairy free, e.g. they explained that their pesto contains parmesan cheese. ) The sides were generous and varied - not the usual fries. Everything is homemade from soup to chipotle mayo to gluten free bread. The gluten free bread was delicious...I would definitely say it is some of the best I have had, and I have shopped in bakeries from CA to FL. Thank you Mercantile for a lovely meal and afternoon.

Head downstairs for tasty, fresh food. The cheese plate had unique tasty options and the salads were fresh and delicious. We also picked up some Missouri wine on the way out. This is a cute stop in Excelsior Springs not to be missed.

This plane is amazing!!! Eclectic and amazing, super polite and offer suggestions with what to order, excellent selection of wine and our server actually got a new bottle that they thought we would like for our lunch!!! A+++

A one of a kind place for wine lovers. Incredible cafe menu, very well prepared food, and the most extensive collection of Missouri wine you will ever find. The owner at Willow Springs may truly be the worlds most knowledgeable person when it comes to Missouri wine. Occasional live musoc, usually calm acoustic fare. This is truly one if my wifes and my favorite places.

My wife loves this place. The server and the atmosphere is great, the food is excellent (size and taste). If you enjoyed wine and live music come on the weekend.

Me and my wife were looking for a warm place to have brunch on a cold Sunday morning and most places were closed in E-Springs, when we discovered WSM. I loved their menu- interesting and more on healthy side served by warmest people ever. Looking forward to stop again next time probably this spring/summer.

I cant say enough good things about this place. Jim and Daphne go out of their way to provide great food (my wife has some dietary restrictions, but thats no problem here), and the wait staff is wonderful!

Such an amazing experience. Cute and quaint little restaurant. Our waitress was fantastic and very accommodating. The food was delicious, fresh, and just the rich proportion. My mom got the Thai chicken flatbread and I got the daily special which was a turkey sandwich with pear and Brie on toasted jalapeño bread. Makes my mouth water just thinking about it! I don’t have a single thing to complain about! Will absolutely be coming back!
