Drive thru was closed due to staffing, but pharmacy staff was friendly and courteous.

Email, texts daily Rx readyWhen I get there I am in the drive through second vehicle. It is sweltering I have no AC in the old truck. I finally give up and pull out of line letting the two cars behind me advance. I park and go in. There are 7 people visible. I pull up a car and sit in line. After a while a couple leave. Then no movement.I get angry by now and let them know. NO colorful language although difficult. I leave.They need to go to Chick-Fil-A to see how to move cars. They need to stop doctoring people, giving tests and injections of hopefully what you asked for. They need to get back to filling prescriptions. They had 6 workers behind the glass! I had one ready and another hung up as usual by insurance. I would have probably paid out of pocket if I could have got to the window.This town needs another pharmacy. They get good people rarely. Heck I had to deal with a African fellow who barely spoke English, and a Pashtun (?) female who hated men and was a real B. Just when you think it can get no worse you aint seen nothing yet from Walgreen.

I HATE the pharmacy. I have NEVER been to a Walgreens in any other state that has this terrible of service and so much laziness.

Incredibly slow and disorganized pharmacy. @walgreens, this deserves to be looked into.

Grumpy old lady working today was extremely rude to me when I walked in with a fedex return. Wanted to turn me away as I walked in and she was helping another customer. Couldn’t even wait for me to present my return at the counter. Saying I have to have the return label and the box has to be ready to go. I had the label. Needed a piece of tape to close the box. That is it. Usually UPS and FedEx are happy to supply one strip of tape. People in this town are very unhappy with their choices of career and it shows every single day I enter any business here.

The employees are rude and very unhelpful, and apparently a year isnt long enough for them to have learned how to wear a mask or social distance (specifically pharmacy) The front counter people seem to be nice but the pharmacy really wrecked the visit. Im glad theres a different pharmacy in this town.

Scheduled an appointment for in immunization. Sat for nearly an hour before received it. The attendant didnt get my insurance info entered correctly and I had to insist she look it over. Yep, she found her mistake.

Got my first covid shot yesterday. Didnt feel a thing til late last night when it got a little sore.

I received a call from the pharmacist checking on me to see how I was getting along with my medicine. I have never had anyone do that before. Thank you very much.

The staff at the Excelsior Springs Walgreens are always friendly and helpful. On several occasions, the cashier has offered my coupons for things I was buying that she had saved back. Its very considerate and that kind of thoughtful service is rare. So much faster and easier to get what I need compared to a giant, congested store like Walmart. They also have the best notebook - Oxford Stone Paper...love it.

I’ve had all good experiences here. The pharmacy is efficient as their part goes. Insurances cause most delays. Friendly staff up font too and good sales

Went in to buy paper products advertised on front page of circular. 07/22/16 . Informed by assistant manager that this store ( Excelsior Springs) no longer carries these products. No substitution or price match. Advised I could drive to Liberty. So, cant use advertised price to shop at this store !

They were so helpful to me today always so kind and go above and beyond the lady didnt even work in the photo department , but was so patient and kind to me and helped me every step of the way with something Im not used to doing was very much appreciated cant say enough good things and I didnt have to wait forever ! Always willing to help !

They dont deserve 1 star, very slow horrible service. Waited 20 minutes in drive through and still didnt have meds ready. Plain ridiculous.

Called prescription to wrong dr. This caused a delay getting prescription. Had difficulty u derstanding pharmacist. Tried to fill a antibiotic at 945p pharmacist refused told me had to many prescription s ahead of me, had to speak with mgr to get it filled. This was not my choice for a pharmacy. Always used kex they were excellent alway helpful and informative. They gave a personal touch. I was so sorry they closed their doors. I will be shopping for a other pharmacy.

Watch for their sales on items, not just pharmacy related. I have found some good deals in here.

This is by FAR the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. There is never a person at the register. EVER. Im also a huge fan of easy checkouts, but Walgreens is the opposite. The entire card reader machine is a disaster, it asks a million questions.

Very poor service in photo department. I started going to walgreens photo when Walmart photo departments machines kept messing up. Well looks like I will be going back there... I tried to get photos printed off today and they told me they would be ready in 3 1/2 hours... got there to pick them up and they hadnt even started them. Told me it would be another 4 hours. Went back to get them and they STILL had not started them. So they told me to come in tomorrow and they would have them done sometime tomorrow. These are $80 photos Im paying for and they keep getting pushed to the back burner. So frustrating!

This place is the worst... Shortage me on my prescription. Pharmacy doesn’t close till nine but I guess the pharmacist decided not to show up to work, so they couldn’t fill... Stay away from this headache.

For years on and off I have went to this wal greens for prescriptions and you would think after 10 years at some point they would get a good staff . First off it’s annoying to get a text stating your meds are ready for pick up , then I go to get them , then they say it’ll be about 20 min to fill , then when there’s cars in the drive through every one waits for about 30 min and I have seen so many people just burn out of the line and leave cuz it’s plain ridiculous. And the times I pull up and there’s not a single car I still wait about 20 min or so for my meds that was supposed to have been filled . Also my doc sends specific notes with my meds and they always put it on hold for a day or two wanting him to verify it after he already did. Wal mart or Rex X are the two best places in town . This place is a joke .

Thank you to the new manager at Walgreens for going above and beyond to right a wrong. My father is very grateful as well.

Now had 2 frustrating experiences with trying to Get prescriptions filled. Staff in the retail store are nice and efficient.

The pharmacy stores your credit card info for future use without permission.

Horrible pharmacy always issues but never an issue at Browns or CVS. Steer clear of this place.

My nephew needed too make poo and they would not let him use the restroom needless to say we had to find a gas station so he could make
