My experience today with Eric in the detailing department reminded me why I keep coming back. I recently drove my new CR-V through wet paint on the highway, and Eric and his team did a phenomenal job getting my car back into like new condition. The value and service provided at D-Patrick Honda have always been the best.

My experience during my recent lease turn-in & new lease was outstanding from start to finish. The second I walked in the door someone welcomed me & asked how they could help me. After my explaining why I was there I was seated & speaking with Trevor within 5 minutes. He answered all of my questions & was extremely helpful throughout the entire process of turning in my previously leased car & leasing a new one—one that was exactly what I wanted. They were excellent!!! We drove from 2 hours away to buy a used car they had on their lot. They took lots of pictures for us to see all of areas of concern better and texted them to me before we made the drive there. They stayed well past closing to get the deal done. I say all this as a person who normally dreads the car buying experience. They were all great people who genuinely cared about us and not just selling us on something. I only wish I lived closer now that I have purchased from them!

I had a very good experience purchasing my Honda CR-V thanks to salesman Alex Patel. I’ve dreaded car shopping in the past because I can spot game a mile away & get annoyed easily. I was impressed with Mr. Patel because he listened, was very attentive to my needs, didn’t rush, helped with options, & there were no games. I left with the vehicle I wanted & the final price was exactly as negotiated. Lee also called the next day to give me great news on the warranty I wanted. I am 100% satisfied & the service I received gained a loyal customer.

My lesson learned at D-Patrick is to never buy a used vehicle from any dealer without going through the car with a fine toothed comb and investing in a service that inspects used cars professionally. I live two hours from Evansville and had to have the water pump replaced before I ever made it home with the car. I had the front struts, rear brakes and battery replaced. The sound system had been replaced with aftermarket equipment. Nothing except the radio worked on the dash (did not discover this until I had it home). No AC, no heat, no defroster, no handsfree telephone capability, etc. I took it to an auto audio service who pulled the system out of the dash. Loose, hot wires (fire hazard) were hanging inside the dash. They repaired these to the point they were no longer fire hazards. All of the data cables had been severed. This requires yet another specialized technician or a Ford dealership. This is a beautiful, red convertible Mustang by the way and a joy to drive. I feel this car should have gone through some sort of a pre-certification service at minimum. I reported the water pump issue to my salesman and was simply told they trust the customers who trade in vehicles as to the condition of the car. I pulled the CarFax and it appears D-Patrick acquired this car through an auction. It was not a trade-in so they had no customer to trade it in as being in good shape. I just feel I was done a huge disservice. With the purchase price and repairs to date (we are far from done...the whole electrical issue remains unsolved), I could add another couple of thousand dollars and simply purchase a new car.....if only you could buy a new car right now.

I was not happy with my purchase from D-Patrick Ford. I felt lied to and taken advantage of. Therefore, I decided the next day after being bamboozled by D-Patrick Ford; to go to D-Patrick Honda. There my husband and I met Alex Patel. He is by far hands down the best car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Not only did he go above and beyond assisting us, but he took on the situation even stating “place this on my shoulders.” He wasn’t just out to make a sale, but let his heart lead him when working with us. Everyone at D-Patrick Honda were pleasant and understanding. D-Patrick Honda worked the numbers, and made this sale work for the vehicle I wanted from the very start. Alex never once lied to us, and he consistently guided us every step of the way. This experience has changed how we will move forward in the future buying vehicles. Great experience! I knew the exact car I wanted and it was not available in Evansville. They found my car a few hours away and brought it to Evansville. Eric Sallee was great to work with! He was very thorough in explaining the features on the car and said to call anytime if we had questions. Ive only had 3 Toyotas for the past 30 years with over 700,000 miles on them, combined! I am certain my Civic will live up to my expectations!

My wife scheduled to have her 2018 Odyssey detailed on the same day we had the vehicle serviced. When we went to pick it up, we didn’t see it right away because it looked even cleaner and shinier (inside and out) than it did when new! They even made it look new under the hood. My girlfriend bought a 2016 Camaro from this dealership! They are crooks and should not be selling cars! She got a Camaro that had been wrecked in the front and all 4 rims were bent and these people never even mentioned it! No carfax, no reports of accidents, didn’t even mention it! The paint is peeling on the front bumper and that is how we figured this whole story out! Make a call to the dealer and “ohh yeah your car had been in a wreck! Nothing we can do you bought it that way” I do not understand why she should have had to pay top dollar for a vehicle that was wrecked! This not how you do business! Anyone reading this turn a way now!

I will never ever tell any friends, family, co-workers, enemies or anyone to purchase a used as is vehicle from D-Patrick Honda because I purchased one and it was so unsafe and had so much wrong with it, it shouldve never been sold. D-Patrick will make you sign a disclosure stating the vehicle may need repairs in the near future but they neglect to tell you what the issues are. Like this vehicle had a major oil leak, bad front brakes, bad tires with wires showing(hidden on back side of both rear tires) and an electrical problem that who would have known until the problem occurred while driving it a few days latter. They supposedly changed the oil so therefore the oil leak shouldve been detected and disclosed. Lord knows I wouldve steered clear of this vehicle. The car now sits at a mechanics garage because its not driveable and I cant afford to pay to have it fixed. I was told D-Patrick has 10 lawyers that knows all about the as is disclosures and I dont have a leg to stand on. Very sad and sickening D-Patrick sold me a lemon! All I wanted and hoped for was for D-Patrick to take care of the issue. SO BUYERS BEWARE OF D-PATRICK HONDA! They will take advantage of you and it wont even feel good....plz. Steer Clear......definitely not service after the sale.......D. Tucker

We absolutely love our new Honda CRV! It is a well designed vehicle with a host of standard features that other brands charge extra for. The negotiation and purchase process at D Patrick Honda was a smooth, no nonsense, business transaction with none of the “bait and switch” and other nonsense that has always made me dread the car buying process. Merrill did an outstanding job of demonstrating the car’s features, evaluating our trade, and navigating the deal. He treated us respectfully and patiently. We were out of there and on our way in no time! I had considered selling our old vehicle myself, but Merrill’s offer came within $400 of what I had intended to ask for it, and that was even before I had cleaned it up. Selling your own used car and dealing with a lot of phone calls and hassle is certainly worth more that $400 to me. All in all, we had a great experience with DPatrick and highly recommend Merrill.

I bought a 2019 base model Honda Civic a couple days ago, and absolutely love it. It gets incredible gas mileage, the lane assist comes standard (you dont know how bad you need it until you have it). Adam Coulter was my sales associate and he was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and there to help. He didnt try to push me into a purchase I didnt want to make, and they gave me a fair price on my trade-in and made the buying process easy. My only complaint is how long the final signing of the papers took and how hard I was pressed to buy an extended warranty.

I have purchased several vehicles from D-Patrick but trying to purchase my leased Honda Odyssey has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. We leased it from them in 2017 and had a great experience at the time.When trying to purchase this vehicle, which we have been driving for the past 3 years, this is what we experienced.1. They refused to give us the paperwork until after the end date even though I started asking for the paperwork 2 months prior to the end of the lease (I have the emails).2. This caused the bank to try to charge us $10,000,000, no joke, 10 million dollars (I have the screen shot of the charge).3. After we finally got some paperwork, they refused to send us the actual paperwork and would only send a photo of part of it rather than the whole which is what our new bank needed in order to process the loan.4. Once we got the rest of the paperwork, after much calling and many emails, we had the check sent to them and they continued to sit on it until another month went by, only to have the previous bank try to charge us again for the whole amount.5. We called the previous bank and had to sort out the problem with them stating that D-Patrick had the check and had to confirm with our new bank they did indeed have the check. At this point we had given up on D-Patrick Honda’s ability to do any actual work or care about the customer.6. On top of all of that, they charged us a $150 service and set up fee to set up and service a vehicle that they don’t even have possession of. When I brought this up I was given the standard reply of we have to charge this.I believe a lot of this was pressure tactics trying to get us to buy or lease another Honda, since it was clear they wanted our vehicle so they could make more money. It shows a very poor understanding of the customer and their desire to only push what they want rather than listen to the customer. A voice of the customer program would greatly increase their understanding of what the customer actually wants vs pressuring customers into buying something they don’t.I would not suggest anyone buy from D-Patrick Honda until management has altered their views of listening to the customer. I knew there had been some changes but didn’t realize it was this bad until this transaction.I would not suggest buying or leasing a vehicle from them unless you also want to fight with your bank about being charged 10 millions dollars at the end of your lease.My goal in writing this is the hope for change to happen.

I purchased a $21,000 Ford Explorer here about 9 months ago and purchased an extended warranty. It is now sitting in a shop needing a $10,000 engine that the power train warranty will not pay for. Spoke to several people at d-Patrick Honda asking for help, possible trade in for a show room vehicle, employee used vehicle... anything! They apologized and said they couldn’t do anything. I don’t know what my family will do. Please pray for us. Certainly don’t have an extra $10,000 to put into this vehicle that was obviously bad when I purchased it. I’m in tears and the general manager could care less. I will be trying to find a lawyer in the next week. Wouldnt want my worst enemy to buy from here.

If I could give DPatrick Honda in Evansville IN, a 0 star, I would!My boyfriend bought a 2013 Dodge Dart Limited, one day off of two weeks ago and is already having to put it in the shop!Whenever we went to test drive it, the dealer was telling us all these wonderful things about the car and that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it!But 13 days later, we drove an hour away from home, went into a store, came back out and wouldn’t start at all! We ended up having to get it towed home!We called DPatrick and explained to them the problems, and the manager, who was extremely rude, told us, “it doesn’t matter if you bought it an hour ago or a week ago, there is nothing we will do”He also said that all vehicles are sold as is and that they don’t even get them inspected for any problems before selling!Definitely WOULD NOT recommend buying from them!

Drove 2hrs to look at a Toyota Highlander, after test driving the car and agreeing on a price, Manager Justin was not helpful with financing the car and didnt offer alternative options to secure a good APR rate. Alex, the salesmen on the other hand was very helpful, took his time to explain the whole credit check process and tried to get me a good financing rate.
