Best bagels in Eugene. Moved here from Brooklyn 2 years ago and these are the closest I can find to my beloved east coast bagels. One of the bright spots of covid era has been my weekly bagel runs. I stock up on a dozen at a time to cut/freeze, and they’re always day 1 delicious re-toasted!

We been enjoying the jalapeno bagels.Oh and the everything bagels are great.Its nice to have bagel shop so close to home that there is no excuse not to have a bagel for breakfast, lunch or heck even dinner.

The bagels I had ordered were alright, but nothing to write home about. The main issue I had with this establishment was the cleanliness; everything in my order was covered in poppyseeds, and I didn’t order anything with poppyseeds in it. The counters and the glass displays were very dirty as if they hadn’t been cleaned that week. In addition, the to-go containers were covered in smudges, and the cooking racks for the bagels did not look like they had been wiped down recently. Although some of my observations are perhaps a bit nit picky, I do believe cleanliness and attention to detail is very important when running a restaurant. I really wanted to like this place, and would consider giving it another try if some changes are made.

Really good bagels! I especially love the everything bagels, but theyre all good. They also have bialys, which are hard to find outside of NY/NJ.

Me son and I love these authentic New York bagels! The everything bagels is probably our favorite but its ALL delicious--exceptional, really!

Severely underrated gem of Eugene. They have the best bagels day in and day out and never disappoint. I almost always get the pork roll, but everything weve had is really solid. Super friendly group and a great family-owned establishment.

Flys on my bagel refused to do anything, place smelled terrible as well. No concern for the customers. Had a attitude because of the American flag on the truck. Politics have nothing to do with food.

Im writing this review in front of the store. I showed up a half hour before closing. Nobody is here. No note on the door. Just an empty storefront during posted business hours. Disappointing.

The best bagels in Eugene. My favorites are the Assiago bagel with artichoke cream cheese and the Jalapeno bagel with veggie cream cheese.

Got called Sir in there but instead of making a scene I got my bagel and went and cried in my car. I cant believe the way people can just assume something about you like that.

Im new to the neighborhood and didnt know exactly how to order. I walked in full of honey and vinegar ready to order and was immediately humbled. The menu is expansive; theres so many options and choices..and they all look great. Staff helped me out and I was immediately impressed. I had the Lox and cream cheese with capers and onion. Id go lighter on caper next time but the everything bagel with cream cheese, lox, and onion...is a go to.

Call ahead of time or something. I drove 30 min to eat here and they were sold out.

Only place in town that actually boils their bagels 🥯. The Pork Roll is my favorite thing on the menu.

Ive been going here every week for around 2 years. The staff are always lovely and the food is great. (Personally the salt bagels are my favorite) Also they have a student discount which is nice, and they have thrown in extra cinnamon sugar balls for my friends and I on special occasions.

Best bagel place in Eugene. They have completely perfected the bagel itself, i.e., the bread and the toppings. Highly recommend you order a sandwich, and try with an everything bagel. Or their salt bagels. Throw on a cinnamon ball or the bread with the jam in the center for a treat. Holy smokes -- it is a simple treat but hits the spot perfectly.Last but not least, the staff are all very kind and pretty happy seeming whenever we go in.

My favorite bagel shop. New York style bagels done right. The present amount of soft, chewy and flavorful. Im a vegetarian and they have a nice variety of sandwich options for me. The also make a mean cappuccino. Definitely recommend.

Food is good, but service still needs some work.

After seeing such great recommendations from the reviews here, we went to get lox bagels.We were greatly disappointed. The bagel and salmon were mediocre. This was least favorite lox bagel Ive had.The staff was very friendly and happy to accommodate and answer any questions. Even carried on fun conversation.When I peaked behind the counter and into the kitchen, it was dirty. The walls and sink look caked up with black.Although this wasnt a terrible experience, I wouldnt recommend it as highly has others have here.

Consistently Inconsiderate of customers time. Ten minutes between taking my wifes order (bagel with cream cheese, not fancy) and her actually receiving it. She HAD enough time to catch her bus! Ended up missing her bus, requiring me to interrupt my day to drive her to work. This is not the first time! You always apologize for the wait but you obviously arent sincere or you would make an effort to rectify the problem! Are you in business for your customer . . . or are you in business for yourself!?

This is an authentic deli with the best bagels in town. I drive all the way over there from Santa Clara to get their food. Try their lox. They cure it themselves. Another secret is that they have chopped liver like grandma used to make. Did I mention their bialys?

We just moved to the neighborhood and its already our favorite place for a quick breakfast or lunch. Weve loved everything weve tried. My husband always gets a salt bagel with salmon schmear, and its loaded enough for an extra bagel when we get home. I always get lox or smoked white fish. Scott smokes his own fish, it is always delicious. The rest of the staff is very personable and friendly. Ive been here more than a dozen times already and have only lived here for two months.

When you eat half of the baker’s dozen while waiting fir your sandwich. When the bagels you are eating are still warm and soft. When you temporarily forget you are in Eugene, not Long Island. You recognize this is good. Thanks for a delicious experience! Do suggest you go with classic egg salad dimensions (though found the larger format interesting) if only for reducing messy quotient. Love to see you expand into other parts of town, or even a bagel cart!

The food is really good and the owner is super cool. It’s a nice atmosphere in a nice part of town. The only thing Is, I think he needs to train his staff a little better on customer service. His employee was making a bagel, a guy walked in she didn’t acknowledge him because she was working and he just walked out after standing there for 5 minutes. If she would have at least acknowledged his presence and said “I’ll be with you in one minute”. He wouldn’t have just walked out with out even being able to place an order.So some customer service issues. But food is great if he can train his employees a lil better on just how to talk to customers and juggling work, I would give it 5 stars.

Sitting here in my car enjoying the second half of a an everything bagel with plain cheese, egg...cooked perfectly, big beautiful chunk of lox wonderful lox. I’m just sitting here, thinking about life..... this is the best bagel I’ve ever had.

Just found this place for the first time today. Ill definitely be back! I got the lox on an everything bagel, which is my go-to at every bagel shop. The bagel was the perfect balance of chewy and light, and there was a generous amount of cream cheese and salmon. So glad theres now a bagel shop closer to work!

Delicious 😋

Went In this morning before 8, and there were two gentlemen working, (that I could see). Maybe 3 customers in the restaurant. When I entered no one was being helped, but the employees were carrying a conversation with a person in the lobby, with no let up in sight. The conversation would not have been a big deal if I would have at least been acknowledged, but besides just a glance in my direction, it was clear the conversation was going to carry out till the end. Found this unfortunate as we stop in fairly regularly, but if this is a change of atmosphere our visits are at an end.

Best bagels in Eugene! Staff is helpful and fast and they have a good selection of baked goods. Soups are good and specials change regularly. Prices are very reasonable.

After reading the good reviews I thought I would give it a shot and was sorely disappointed, not worth the drive. For a place that has bagels and lox in there name it’s quite bad.

This place has great bagels, good coffee, and good staff. I end up going at least once a week, and always enjoy it.

Very very yummy bagels and lox

We entered this shop/ cafe, were greeted warmly by both the tantalizing aroma and the friendly staff. Everything is amazingly fresh and tasty. I appreciate the variety of toppings available, including specialty schmears and cheeses.

My husband and I split a fried egg with cheese on an Asiago bagel, cinnamon sugar puffs, an egg cheddar and ham bialy, and a drip coffee. All for $11.50! Great amount of food for the price. Everything tasted great but the star was the fried egg with cheese which came with onion, tomato, and lettuce. Yum. We are comfortably full and look forward to going back and trying some other goodies.

The everything bagel is awesome, especially as the pork belly sandwich. Bagels made fresh as youre eating! I wish I could eat them everyday.

True New York style bagels! Closest thing to H&H Bagels that we’ve found. A bit out of the way, but worth the trip that we will continue to make.

Lived in NYC for a while and I have found these to be the most bagel-y bagels in town, it’s top pick for bagels. BUT they often get our order wrong—check the bag before you leave.

Some of the best bagels I’ve ever had and their new sub sandwich menu is to die for. It’s a bit of a drive for us but worth it.

Good food, the bacon was... Odd? Was more like a pork tenderloin than bacon . Soft meat with no real flavor.

Coming from Brooklyn I can tell you thats a good bagel. Get the lox and a schmear.
