I bought a Fender beginner guitar with case from Joseph for a very fair price. He carries some B stock guitars which are perfectly fine quality except for some minor blemish. Perfect for a beginner.I later bought a beginner Cordoba classical which was also B stock bargain and was what I needed for my class at Palomar College.Good, knowledgeable people. I always like supporting the local Escondido businesses.They also have a rent to buy plan.

Joseph made adjustments and installed new strings on my acoustic guitar and it plays beautifully... much better than before. Big shout-out to B&H Music for wonderful customer service and expertise!

This is a great local shop for your music needs! Joseph is very helpful and knowledgeable. I called about a ukulele method book, and he had pulled it out for my ease of finding prior to my arrival—talk about service! I came for a method book and walked out with a new ukulele. I had an instrument of mine serviced there, too, and Greg the luthier was very personable and attentive to my playing needs. You will find what you’re looking for here. I’ll definitely be returning for more instruments and gear.

Customer service was 11/10. I was in need of a practice bass amp and the man I spoke with on the phone was so helpful and suggested a great bass amp, and he was very thorough in his explanation. I went and picked it up , and fell in love. It was everything I wanted and was perfect and even came with so many extra features. I had a small problem with it and it was a quick call away , he exchanged it no problem. I also had help from one of his employees a couple times and they are both on the same page , clearly a very communicative and easy-going business. I would highly recommend anyone to come here for their music needs , super friendly and will answer any questions.

I am the spouse of Sheila, Michael. I bought a Gibson J45 from the shop in 1972 when it was still owned by the Dopyera brothers. I loved the store and drooled over the resonators, but couldnt afford one since I was just a student... I remember a chrome version there. From the web site, it appears to be just as great as it was. I now live in Oregon so its likely to be a while before I can come back to see the store again.

This place is a great independently owned mom & pop kind of shop. The people that work here are really helpful and they have a lot of supplies! They make good use of their limited space and find a way to pack a ton of things for instruments. I took a few guitar lessons with the owner as well, hes a great honest business man and an all around good guy. It seems like they have a really good range of teachers for different instruments. I would recommend just stopping by to check it out!

I came to Escondido a few weeks ago and asked about using one of their practice rooms while I was in town house-sitting. The owner was very gracious and allowed me to use a practice room for piano practice free of charge for nearly a month. Very friendly staff and a great help!

I love this place!!! I cant say enough about the staff. Very knowledgeable and professional. Our son and Daughter have been studying Bass and guitar from the same instructor and they have been improving steadily. They offer rent to own on stringed and wind instruments (very reasonable). They also carry supplies for most instruments.

This place is such a gem! All the different music teachers are awesome! My daughter loves this place and takes piano, ukele, voice, and guitar! Kaitlin and the receptionist are so helpful and very knowledgable! We are so grateful B & H Music is here in Esco! A variety of talented musicians to choose from!

It is really nice to shop for music supplies and instruments at a local store. Joseph sets great prices and has knowledgable employees. B&H has been able to order me anything that they didnt carry in the store and it was available for pickup very quickly. I also have had a couple guitars set up there and they came back just as I had requested.

I found B n H about 5 years ago when my kids where starting band in elementary school. Joseph, the owner, is a great guy! I myself know nothing about music, but Joseph always helped me out to get what I needed. Because of his great attitude my kids have learned the flute, guitar, and violin.

Wonderful and helpful customer service. Any time I need a guitar item, from music books, to picks, capos, tuners, straps, they have a great selection. Friendly and knowledgable staff. They have excellent instrument instruction and repair also.

Not a good music store. They have guitars and ukuleles and those parts, but hardly anything for band instruments. I asked for replacement parts for a trumpet and they never got them. They dont carry much for flutes either. Maybe theyre just better for stringed instruments, but they certainly shouldnt be called a general music store if they dont carry supplies for a variety of instruments. They have a few maintenance supplies for trumpet, but they really arent for band instruments.

This review is for the Flute instructor Karen. She is very flexible, has great rates, and my daughter loves working with her. I would recommend her for anyone wanting to learn flute.

Not playing with a full deck here last year I had some work done on a guitar and the bald guy told me it needed a special tuner -- No I am not off the boat and been doing this for 40 years any way when I checked the manufactures statistics it said any tuner would be fine...NOT PLAYING WITH A FULL DECK...

They have one of the best guitar teachers ever! I definitely recommend taking lessons from here if you are looking into this place!
