Excellent experience with Tyler in Doors&Windows. I needed a replacement custom Milgard screen door, and he ordered that for me after a few email exchanges to get the details right. (The guys on Mira Mar couldnt be bothered with my small order.) Tyler also got the order straightened out when the wrong screen came in from Millard. Appreciate the good service and my new screen door.

Amazing customer service. I went there for a specific type of pine board. I took a few steps in the store and was asked if I needed help. Not long after being in the lumber yard, I was asked if I needed help. After helping me find the best board for my purpose, they cut it for free into 8 - 10 pieces as needed. What a great experience to find an abundance of nice, helpful employees. Very rare!

A great group of friendly professionals. It was a busy day at the lumber dept, but Gary took my order soon after I arrived. I needed to have two 8ft 6x6s cut into 12 inch increments. Gary advised me that some wood would be lost with each cut and the additional cost. He also included a military discount. At the lumber yard Eric was very deliberate and accurate when making the cuts, I was obvious that he really took pride in his work. In short, a great experience from start to finish and well worth the drive from Vista to Escondido. Semper Fi

At least for doors, these people are terrible. The tall black man has such a nasty attitude towards our contractor - its no wonder these stores are closing everywhere! To the tall black guy in the windows and door department- if you dont want to work, quit! I for one decided to order our doors from home depot after your insults & they were actually Happy to help us! I was left with a sour nasty taste after dealing with you.

Knowledgeable staff very helpful

Staff is good but the indoor lumberyard need BIG HELP! They need arrows painted on the ground to indicate the flow of traffic. Also need signs at all entry and exits throughout the yard allowing allowing customers to pick up material in exit without cross traffic. Last few trips have been a cluster, people backed in forklifts material in the way and people yelling at each other trying to get out. Some simple signage would help solve this problem.

I like Dixieline but the lumberyard is making me never go back there again. Expect to wait over half an hour to load up materials, if not more. Last trip took me almost 2 hours. That is simply not acceptable. And its not a one-off situation. Its more times than not.

Better than home Depot easier to get in and out and a great inventory of hardware paint and other household stuff plus great lumber

Many items such as, lumber,hardware and specialty items for power tools are available unlike Lowes & Home depot. I receive a 10% discount for showing my Carpenters Union Dues card. Ive been shopping with the dixieline family now for over 50 years here in San San Diego.

Nice Hardware store . Easy access employees that actually ask and help you . And they had what I needed , or close enough .. even the big box stores didnt have , or even stock .. I just wanted a electrical conecter and wire . . From now on Dixeline Escondido will be my go to first hardware store

Friendly staff and service

Everytime I come to Dixieline, I feel that I get personalized service that I would never get it in any of the big box stores. The variety is pretty good, and if they dont have in stock they can usually order it. Their prices are competitive on most things, and even if theyre not I stick with them because their service is what keeps bringing me back. Also, their return policy is much more generous than any of the big box stores, if you keep the receipt. So dont lose it!

I always like going to this Dixieline store. They have experienced salespeople who freely give their advice. Other home stores dont seem to have experienced people working for them.

As a woodworker I have to admit that Dixieline has good quality lumber. The customer service for the customer who does not make contractors purchases, however, is very poor. Yesterday I wanted to make a small purchase and the gentlemen behind the counter would not acknowledge me for several minutes. When I walked away to ask someone else for help, he stopped fiddling with the computer. My wife has previously alerted to the same pattern. I will not return to this store.

This place is a rip off! We needed a new BBQ for our HOA. One of the older board members went to Dixieline and told manager Tim that he had a maximum $800 to purchase a BBQ. Tim sold him a special order Weber Spirit II E-301 NG BBQ for $795 and included free delivery - just under budget. Sounds great, but when the BBQ arrived, it was the exact same one you can get a HomeDepot or Ace for $499.99 or at Wayfair or Amazon for $449 - also free shipping. This is nothing less than taking advantage of and old man or an HOA! Do not shop here. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR BUSINESS!

Pretty disappointing that dixieline treats their customers and employees the way they do. Tim took a look at me and immediately made up a reason to have a problem with me. I spent 150 dollars to be treated like less than a customer by little timmy. Not knowing I am a former at one of the biggest companies in San diego. Thanks I will let all of my guys know to never get tools or materials here.

The staff are always very helpful and plentiful easy to find . Makes it so much nicer than Home Depot or Lowes where sometimes you have to hunt down someone help you . Prices are reasonable and some things a bit higher than big chains but overall good service

I went thru them for my new front doors and a pedestrian garage door. Very disappointed in their installers....they brought out the wrong pedestrian door and consequences had to wait an additional 2 weeks for the correct door. Installers were very unprofessional, arrogant and messy. I have since taken my bathroom remodel to a small independent who care.
