Standard Walmart experience. No complaints. Weird grocery arrangement.

Nice Walmart, friendly employees. Seemed strangely organized & was not easy to find what I was looking for.

Accessibility: as all Walmarts Ive seen do, there is an automatic opening and closing doors and disabled parking in front of the store. Yay! I am always thankful for these.The parking lot has solar panels that create shade and there are security cameras in the lot.Walmart has great prices but the isles are a little bit narrow here and I end up having to be closer to strangers than I would like.

Great location. Be aware: this is a Market place, not a super center. That means you can get general things minus the deli. If you are looking for something more obscure, you may need to head over to the super center.Cordial and helpful employees, great parking.

I depend on this store for majority of my shopping for my kids and cat. I never really have any problem at this store ever. I would recommend though if you plan on taking a return or anything at customer service you go in the morning or when customer service opens at 9 so that you can see seen quickly because it is a retail store so there are days they might only have one person thats able to help.

I love my local Walmart and enjoy shopping there almost daily. The only thing I dont like there is the way they wont give you cash back when you pay with your debit card when you return an item. It makes no sense. The other Walmart stores do it without issue but not the customer service in Escondido.

I was looking for a few t-shirts, rechargeable batteries, and a track belt. Unfortunately, they had none and after two hours of looking around. I finally found the belt.

The store was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. But the shelves were empty!

One of the biggest Walmart stores Ive been to. The best part is that its a non hassle to return any items. Although, for the first time in my life I actually seen a line going all the way outside, just to get in! There isnt even any Covid restrictions on department or grocery stores. So I dont know what that was all about. Thats why I only give this store 4 stars.

This store is in a good location and has a good selection for its size. Not a ton of grocery items (it has some staples – sans produce – which is to be expected for a Walmart on the smaller side) and not a lot of garden products (no garden center, but a couple isles with some of the outdoor/garden basics). Regardless, it generally has the kind of prosucts I need on a regular basis.A few cons:• If something basic is out of stock it tends to stay out of stock for quite some time• Curbside pickup usually takes a long time, perhaps longer than it might take to wait in line inside for pickup or to go inside to gather and purchase items. Also, checking in and letting the store employees know youve arrived for curbside pickup on the Walmart app doesnt seem to work at this store, though it does work at some of the other Walmart locations where Ive used curbside pickup. Ive used curbside pickup at this store a handful of times and have needed to call each time to let them know Ive arrived, which is no big deal now that Ive figured that out. When I call, the person who answers asks my name and gets me checked in with no issues, so no complaints about the process of calling to get checked in. I always check in on the app first just in case, but the first few times I tried picking up without calling took quite a while since it didnt work.Hopefully some of that can help someone!

Really hated it went at eleven sharp the doorman welcomed me o went at night when o got out of work to buy some shoes because they broke and son big bald guy didnt lete go to the kitchen shoes that I need desperately because the next day I work at 7 Im the morning

I went to buy some pants then boxers and a shirt then some shoes, really quick. Thats what happens when you originally went there for just one thing and when your done you bought a fewww more other things . Lol thats walmart for you. I love walmart.

What can I say its Walmart. They have a good selection of products but some of the workers have no clue about what they sell. Im not really pleased or displeased with this place. Its there for what I want it for.

In and out pretty quickly. Not to busy this morning. About half the customers are still wearing there masks. Very friendly pharmacy rep helped me today.

Best place to go to if you have a special need persons with sensory overload. If they dont like wearing a mask for a long time. I have an Autistic son. The employees love seeing us there. The employees are very nice and understanding.

The doorman scotty was short with me and when I tried to get his name he walked up on me aggressively and stood so close as to make me very uncomfortable. I know that there is no social distancing of 6 ft anymore but common courtesy should keep people at least 2 ft away. Very rude will not shop hee anymore

Its not my favorite store but it does fine in a pinch. Smaller than most Walmarts. And doesnt have as much variety. But it was clean and convenient.

It was a normal, great experience at a Walmart. The had plenty of choices. Good quality products and not terrible lines at the checkout. The lines got slow for a moment but they opened more registers right away. Friendly staff.

Uhhh.Its better then a few out there.

Customer service was lacking initiative & motivation. I waited 30 minutes to get someone to open a locked case containing diabetic testing supplies. All I needed was the alcohol pads. The are a very inexpensive item to have locked up. Ridiculous!

Weird layout & design. More employees than any other walmart Ive seen - all working hard, no slacking - but stacks of boxes everywhere, blocking isles. Its also in a weird location. I much prefer the San Marcos store

For being such a big staff, Ive had more than a few visits there where not a single staff member was to be seen, let alone one that would come and greet and ask if i needed help.(which I did, that being the reason for this review. ) Most other times, not much to complain about.

Very terrible service! Would not recommend coming here if youre looking for good customer service. Employees are unreliable. I would like to specifically comment on Jessica and her pal! I could not catch her name on the phone. Some of the most absurd attitude Ive ever encountered. I will be taking my money elsewhere. I suggest learning some common courtesy and losing the sass, for the love of god. I am deeply disturbed by the service my wife received. If attitude could kill, my wife would be in a coma! haha. Please get it together.

There is zero customer service here for the past two months. Shame on you so-call management, YOU are to blame, not your workers. This warning goes out to you, the consumer. This so-call managment does not care about customer service especially to the handicapped or elderly at all. They have closed all of their 4 service lanes forcing YOU to do your own scan and bag your own groceries. This is very difficult when you are very limited and have suffered a stroke or if you are very weak and you have a cart of groceries. I went to ask for help only recieved an apology for not offering that service. I asked to speak to the manager. The upfront worker said the manager is on break. Really??? And that I would have to wait. They have been programmed to lie to you. Managers are always on call to service. I will be suing this branch for lack of services to the handicapped and elderly.

Best Wal-Mart in North County. The parking lot is designed brilliantly, and the layout inside even better. Even with last minute Holiday shopping, able to park within reasonable distance walk right in and check out with a very short line!

You have to pay for your order to hold it for 1 hour even a big order to go wake up the owner to pay for it. That was BS.

Nice store. Has a lot of what I need and a great staff. With this day and age of social distancing they are well prepared. I wish I could say the same about some other customers I interacted with. With plenty of room you think people would respect space. I asked a man behind me to back up a little because he was literally 3 feet from me and kept pressing towards me pushing me to move closer to guy in front of me closer. All I get from him is an insult calling me a democrat. I already figured he was republican but I guess he assumed just because I asked him to respect my space in line that I may be liberal. He wrongfully judged me not realizing he just insulted his own republican neighbor but that matters little. Whether you are democrate or republican you deserve respect, safety, and compassion. Our political beliefs should not hinder our right to stay safe in this pandemic. I will continue to shop here as a human being with my own political beliefs as many who shop with theirs.

Doesnt always have what Im looking for & thats probably due to its small size.

With the ca lockdown and 10 pm restrictions, Walmart remained open and as always the employees have kept the entire store clean while respecting all covid 19 methods. I have been there 3x in one week and almost every time Im there I find what I need and notice they are restocking daily to meet the needs of north county residents. For me in works, like a one stop shop, even the pharmacy and eye care are convenient. Good job guys. Remember that it was the holidays so try and put people up front to help with returns, I often see the same woman by herself handling the entire front area alone, shes is an extraordinary woman always the same, friendly and helpful. I think shes Indian not sure but shes wonderful and should get a raise

Super-simple easy shopping

Had what we needed and some hair/bath products in bins at reasonable price. Liked both shampoo and body deodorant liquid soap.

Was a long shot getting a receipt from a purchase from Dec 2017. I needed it cause the battery to my Grave Digger Ride-On truck melted.(For Warranty) I spent two days calling customer service. I finally went to the store, and the store manager Ricardo, was the man that dug through paperwork and pulled the rabbit out the hat, finding the receipt. Awesome job Ricardo. Thank you so much.

Terrible! Parked in curbside parking spot, called the phone number posted on the curbside pickup sign only to find out it has been disconnected. So I called the store, asked for someone in curbside pickup, was on hold for 12 minutes. I called back, was told they cant find anyone to provide service, so I would just have to come in. Told the young lady I could not come in given my age and health issues that make me more susceptible. I was told, well then, they will just cancel my order. I said fine, Ill get the items at a store that does a much better job of accommodating their customers. Someone needs customer service training, maybe more than just one employee?
