Love this place, a little pricey, but sorry to hear it is closing. I had last been there with my Mom who has since passed away. Bittersweet going back knowing they are closing.

Best selection of Christmas decorations and especially ornaments. Not inexpensive, but worth a visit and supports a local business.

Visiting this store has been part of my family holiday tradition since I was a child. It really feels like a Christmas movie when you walk in...you just feel the Christmas magic. I can’t wait until they reopen so I can continue to support their well-deserved business. Knowing that it’s family-owned and that they go above and beyond to bring Christmas-filled experiences to other families makes it that much easier to do all of your holiday shopping here. There’s really no other place like it!

My sisters and my kids go ever year in December to pick out something special. Might be something that reminded us of a vacation, an activity or just falling in love with the gingerbread houses and foam cupcakes, cookies and other yummy food items. Sad to hear this store is closing, hope to go before that happens!

Mark Roberts fairy and Santa collection is amazing. The entire store is packed with the best collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations you will find anywhere. Dave, an owner, is the most hardworking store owner, willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you are satisfied. Everyone there makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. Prices are very competitive. If you cant find it here you wont find it anywhere.

I truly enjoyed my visit yesterday. Love the Halloween and Christmas displays. I will be going back lots of beautiful gift items. Be sure to check out all their creatively decorated Christmas trees. The staff is very friendly and informative. Thanks for a wonderful time.

A must see shop. Christmas offerings are outstanding and it is an amazing place to see and shop at. Love the Dept 56 display with the trains and houses. Highly recommended.

This store has something for everyone when it comes to Christmas. You csn find ornaments for every possible person in your life and enjoy so much variety and ideas it is incredible. They are so helpful and ideas are everywhere. If there were any room for improvement, it would be to add more registers! Enjoy.

Awesome selection year round, but definitely during the holidays (its like a Christmas museum!). Even just walking around the store is entertaining even if youre not looking for something specific. The staff is also amazingly helpful, especially in comparison to virtually any other store your go to now a days. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!

Beautiful store, such beautiful items, and everyone who works there is amazing. If you love Christmas in any way shape or form I highly recommend that you take a moment to go there maybe more than a moment because theres so many things to look at and possibly take home as youre own l had a great experience

Better than City Lights, however harder to get into. The parking is better, but still difficult. The stock is much better, and there is a nice floral room. I was particularly happy with the sections where they have each collection by designer. Worth it, yes. Expensive though.

My Grandma never missed a Christmas season. She took me every year and would buy me one thing every time. This place is so special to me. She would always talk with the owners and loved them! She would take me until she wasnt able to drive then I would take her. If your looking for quality decorations arrangements and ornaments that will last a life time this is the place and the only place!

Since 2011 I have gotten a personalized ornament for my niece and nephew. Last year it slipped my mind so I went today to get two plus one for my daughter who was married last year. I could not find a bride and groom like they have had in the past and after half an hour searching and settling I get in line to buy them only to learn they are not doing that this year! There are no signs anywhere indicating this so you dont waste your time. How hard is it to hire someone with nice handwritting?

This place is a must go to, especially during Christmas. They have dozens of themed tree decorated top notch. The prices are expensive, but I go to experience Christmas. Some weekends closer to Christmas they have carolers, cider and cookies.

I am actually laughing at all the 1 and 2 star reviews made about this majestic place. One person literally only said its old-1 star. LOL. I also loved the owners reply to someone who said beautiful decorations, overpriced, his response -I dont even know where to start with this comment. It is a specialty holiday decorating store LIKE NO OTHER. You know what that means? It means you are going to pay a bit more for the handmade, beautiful decorations. When you put a Canterbury Gardens ornament on your tree, your sweet little mass produced, cheap ornaments from Target and Walmart start to look more cheap by the minute. Dont get me wrong, my tree (fake from Target) is still over 90% covered in cheap ornaments, because I cannot afford a whole CG tree, but my CG ornaments are treasured more than any others. When you shop here you support a small local business and you support the small artists they procure from. If you can spend 3 hours in IKEA looking at a billion different ways to put particle board together, why not spend 3 hours touring this Winter Wonderland and if you cant afford a house full of decor, buy one piece to love and to support a local business.

I work with the Motel Mediteran, the Motel next to this business and in my dealings I have come across the Canterbury Gardens, This store is amazing, Everyone is so helpful and they really seem to love their jobs. If you are into decorations of any kind this is the place to be!
