I would give them zero stars if I could. They are very disrespectful especially the son. The owners are price gouging. How is it that beauty supply stores in Los Angeles and Orange county are cheaper than this store? Save your money and go elsewhere. I drove to Vista and went to a beauty called Casablanca beauty supply, and they have reasonable prices. The owner at Casablanca is very sweet.

I’ve lived in Escondido about 30 years, and there has never been a beauty supply for people of color. Now there is one, it’s been here almost 2 years, and it’s about time. Peoples beauty supply, 1631 E Valley Parkway Escondido 92027. They carry a large variety of supplies, for hair, skin, wigs, braiding hair, jewelry, makeup, weaving hair, there is something for everyone. No matter your ethnicity you will find something for yourself or family. Plus the customer service is great. This is a family owned and operated business. It’s a nice find in the heart of Escondido.

The owner was so helpful and knowledgeable. Sometimes having 4b/4c hair can be overwhelming. A lot of products dont moisturize my hair. The owner was so helpful and provided a lot of reasons as to why certain products would work well with my curl pattern. I walked out with some great products and recommendations for my family & friends! I will be returning

It was an amazing experience coming into this Beautiful Black Owned business.I didn’t feel out a place at all being black myself, it is very hard to find a hair store where I don’t get treated like a criminal when I’m simply trying to shop for hair. So this experience was amazing to ask me if I needed any help immediately and then allowed me to show on my own without being followed plus every single person that works there was knowledgeable about each product.

I have been a hairdresser since 1988. I have seen it all when it comes to bad hair pieces, costly product and schiesty people. Roland is by far the most honest humble man in this business I have ever seen. I rate his hair pieces and wigs a 10 along with his product. The best part is Roland is soooo fair in his pricing. A true Christian in my eyes. Thank you for being here Peoples hair. Oh and I am Caucasian and just had Roland order my first real hair wig. 🌟😁

I went here looking for wrapping thread, which they had in a variety of colors. The staff was so helpful, he was full of creative ideas and very knowledgeable with his products. My hair was turned out really awesome because of this place. Highly recommend! Excellent prices and quality product.

I’ve been to many beauty stores and this by far is one of the cleanest stores I’ve ever seen. It’s always so neat and organized. The products are always well stocked, and if not, you can be assured that it will be back quickly. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about their products. unlike most stores, you’re more than just a dollar sign to them. They actually try to get to know you and your needs. I hated having to go all the way to San Diego to get ethnic hair care products for myself and my daughter. definitely recommend the store 100%.

This place is such a hidden gem! The owners know their products. They have everything you could possible imagine because they have an amazing selection; if they dont have what you are looking for, they WILL order it. I came in and stocked up on my usual things. I even found temporary hair color (the hair wax sold online) IN STOCK! I was super geeked I didnt have to wait on shipping for it ordering it online. Prices were VERY reasonable!
