Super prompt and friendly service here. Bagels are fire 🔥 they have breakfast sandwiches too and hot coffee. Definitely stopping by here again soon!

The owner literally coughed into his hand and then grabbed our bagels to put them into the toaster. He then proceeded to grab 2 other bagels out of the toaster with his bare hands, put cream cheese on them without gloves, and then served them to an elderly couple…We decided to cancel our order and when we told him we didn’t want our bagels he asked why, and we calmly explained it was because we saw him cough into his hand and grab our food. He responded “I grabbed your bagel with plastic,” even though we saw him grab an elderly couples bagel out of the toaster with his bare hands AFTER coughing into his hands.Regardless of if he used plastic or not to grab our food, it’s completely unacceptable to serve people food after coughing into your hands without washing them afterwards. Especially given the fact that we are still in a pandemic. We will not be returning, and I would advise the owner to ensure he practices proper food hygiene before he makes someone sick.

I believe its a family ran business, which I really like. The bagels are very good.

Let me start with I love bagels. I’ve probably gone here 20+ times because it’s the only bagel place I can find in Escondido. But I can’t do it anymore. The customer service is awkward and the bagels are not good. Nothing about them is ever good. They are very thick and dry, last time I went I got some to go, But when I got home they were rockhard stale. Not to mention the bagel with cream cheese I ordered was all wrong. I asked for jalapeño and got tomato. They never toast the bagels correctly, and I always have to ask for extra cream cheese to balance out the dryness, they don’t put very much to begin with. On top of that, the guy at the front wants 2 extra dollars for extra cream cheese!! Let’s just say I’m not too happy with my many experiences here. Starbucks across the street can make you a better bagel guaranteed

I love this wonderful Bagel shop and Deli, Hubert the owner is always so welcoming and kind. It is nice to have a place with genuine people who say hello and ask how your day is going and the bagels and sandwiches are delicious. They know me by name and greet me when I walk in the door. Awesome service, it is why I keep going back.

This place has the best bagels! I always get the lox and bagel! The only thing that I would approve on is I would slice the onions just a bit thicker. I have come here for years and think they are probably the best bagel place in Escondido! I love the fact that they are family owned and always remember me when I walk in. They open up early and you can tell all of their bagels are made fresh! Keep up the great work!

Unfortunately not a very edible bagel. the pictures looked promising, but the bagels are not cooked traditionally. it seems like they are boiled but the bottoms are coated in corn meal. I was told the bagel was made fresh but it was extremely stale. had to throw away.

Excellent bagels, just the right balance of chewiness and softness that you only find in well crafted fresh bagels. Hard to find good bagels around here in general, most are terrible, but Signatures bagels were excellent and their cream cheese flavors were great too.

Love the Bagels here. Lox bagel is my jam. But getting the food after ordering always seems to take an eternity. Fix that, and easily 5 stars.

Best bagels in San Diego. NY style, large with generous portions of cream cheese. Great friendly service. My go to place for breakfast when Im here. Also have sandwiches and soup, but no personal experience with either since the bagels are so good!

Ive been going here for my work breakfast bagels for a while now but today I went in and got my bagels and cream cheese and unfortunately got some moldy cream cheese. I have not gone back to let them know but I am pretty disappointed and a little grossed out..

The bagels are really good and the staff very friendly. My one criticism is one of the people making orders clearly either doesnt like cream cheese or doesnt understand how it works. We had 3 toasted bagels each with cream cheese and each had the smallest amount of cream cheese Ive ever seen put on a bagel. Pretty much the person buttered the bagel with cream cheese. Meaning there was only a super thin layer...barely any cream cheese at all on each of these three bagels. Im not trying to be nitpicking but really you could barely notice the cream cheese on these bagels unless you looked really close and did a taste test to see if it was butter or cream cheese. Id come back here for bagels but will not let them do the fixin.

I have went in many times. Most times were good but there were a few times where my order was completely messed up which I understand happens but two of the times I called back and I’m pretty sure the gentlemen I talked with both times is the owner. Instead of simply replacing my order and making it correct for another day he only offered ten percent off it was unreal. What is ten percent off going to do? I paid for my food and ordered hr a certain way which I didn’t get. Never in my life have I dealt with that type of customer service. Don’t bother to offer anything if you plan to offer ten percent off your next order.

The food is good but they need better organization. I stood at the register for ten minutes waiting just to pay for bagels.

I been there twice now. The 1st time was wonderful. The 2nd time couldnt of been more awkward. I needed a couple Sugars for my coffee so I proceeded to grab them as I put them on the counter. the European man at the register made me feel like I was asking for way to much an made me leave a tip for five sugar packets.. even though I was buying a breakfast bagel. Good food but didnt care for this interaction with this man.

First time ever trying this place and it was amazing! The food was delicious 😋 and the 2 women working were very friendly and had excellent attitudes!!! By the time we got our utensils and drinks, our food was ready! No wait time hardly and the food (once again) was delicious!!!!!

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat near Regal Cinemas and Starbucks with plenty of seating. Most of the bagels were gone by 11am on a week day but they had a few on the racks behind the scenes. My Sunrise bagel was good but I wish I had asked for cheddar cheese instead of the American cheese it came with.

Awesome.....been going there since it opened. New ownership picked up where the previous ownership left off.Im from NYC so I know bagels, and these are so very good.Staff always friendly......yep, I recommend.

I get bagels here for work every other Friday. We call ahead our order and its ready to go Friday morning. Best bagels in my opinion! People here are super nice!

This place has the most amazing bagels. Very friendly staff and they work fast. They do get busy in the early morning, but they work hard to get you in and out fast.

I enjoy stopping in for my morning bagel(s). The staff is friendly and greet you at the counter to take your order. I appreciate them labeling the wraps when more than one bagel with cream cheese is ordered. The owner, Hubi, is very welcoming and keeps the orders coming. I know my sentiments are shared since I see many of the same people at the tables each time I come in. Definitely try their cranberry bagel, and check out their lunch menu also.

I liked the Sunrise bagel sandwich, except the cheese (it was an odd color, might have been American, cheddar is better). The bagels are really good, nice & big. Service was pretty good, one woman was very friendly, but another was a bit curt. *Went back again and this time I just asked for cheddar on my Sunrise, easy peasy.

Half a star. I ordered the sunrise bagel. I received a cold bagel with chese that was still in a square shaped and had not melt. I waited to see if any of the 3 staff would wash their hands since they were deep cleaning. The person who made my sandwich was handling bleach before making my bagel. He only put gloves on. Not friendly service. It looked liked they hated working there and it showed in the food.

Great bagels but the Customer service has gone to non existent.. I used to be a regular but after not being greeted multiple times, prices fluctuating on the same order and some of the cashiers (not the owner or a select 2 of nice people) being downright rude and acting disappointed with my patronage.. I have decided to take my bagel business elsewhere and that sucks because this is the only bagel shop in Escondido

This is NOT your typical bagel joint. Start with a chef; yes, a real chef. Who was a personal chef and who also worked at Mille Fleurs; yeah…that Mille Fleurs...the famous one. And he’s in there at 2:00 in the morning cheffing! Tiled oven, so they’re baked, not steamed; old school New York style. Homemade cream cheeses; how cool is that? Wait; plural? Yeah…. as in a half dozen flavors; who does that? But the name says Bagel and Deli, so what else does he have? Chicken salad; homemade of course. As is the tuna. And how is the chicken salad? Amazing; big chunks of chicken, not too mayoee…outstanding. And I’m picky about my chicken salad. Do yourself a favor; go there. The guy’s name is Hubi; great guy, great food; what more do you want?

I guess the only way to get a bagel here is to call in because I tried to walk in this morning and get a simple bagel with cream cheese and the guy at the front answer to two phone calls and took 2 full orders of sandwiches ahead of me and wouldnt even look at me. Nobody greeted me or said hello or asked if they could help at all. I will not be coming back here. This is my first and only visit. Get some better customer service guys! Walk-ins are patrons too and should at least be greeted with a hello or something. I didnt even get to eat because he kept answering the phone and I couldnt place an order in person. Too bad cuz I was really looking forward to trying a good bagel today. Guess Ill head over to Panera.
