My 85 year-old mother spent $2300 on one hearing aid through the Beltone Skoric branch in Escanaba, Mi. She was dissatisfied with it from the beginning; it was large and bulky. It fell out several times and she almost lost it. When it fell out she didnt even know it because her hearing wasnt any better than when she had it in. She and I reached out to Chuck at the Escanaba branch to express her concerns. He was unsympathetic, rude and condescending. He told her that she should insure it for when it falls out. He offered to have it remolded, even though her hearing was not improved at all with it in. She wanted at least a partial refund and was refused. She called and talked to the head manager in Saginaw MI and he tried to sell her one for the other ear as well, in addition to telling her NO REFUNDS. Bottom line, think twice before doing business here. Thats a lot of cash to put out with no money-back satisfaction guarantee. They are money-hungry people that take advantage of elderly because they have no recourse. My mother now owns a $2300 piece of junk that sits in a drawer.Go to Miracle Ear; better product for a lot less money.
