Ron is extremely knowledgeable, has many years of experience, and readily shares it with the customer so they can understand Propane use and the safety factors involved. Been a customer for over 18 years and never had any issues. Auto delivery has never left me without oil.

Used them for well over a year, no issues in the past - would call or ring doorbell to get access to backyard. Today they showed up, ran a hose through our driveway and tried our side gate (locked, never unlocked in 2 years; theyve gone through the garage) and left without a word, no doorbell, no phone call, just left. Called to discuss and they wont come back today, no theyll try again tomorrow and I need to leave my gate unlocked. I work from home and was home, I literally could have let them through but Im told they dont have time to call you if theyre there for delivery - you need to leave your gate unlocked all day for them (cause you dont get a time of arrival or notice theyre on their way). When I brought up that they go through the garage (double sided front/back full size garage door for easy access to back yard) I was told they dont do that (theyve done it for 1.5 years). Cut ties with them, forget a .10 discount if you cant use a phone or tie in with technology that youre their next stop (its okay UPS can show me theyre a block down the road and how many deliveries out I am). Ive moved onto another oil company.

I reached out after hours on a Friday, the woman answering after hours took down my information and relayed someone would reach out when they opened. First thing Monday morning, a very nice woman called me back and scheduled the delivery for the next morning. We recently moved to the area and this was my first time filling the oil tank. The process was extremely easy, I would highly recommend using them!

We incorrectly thought that the gage on our tank was not working when we moved in, and when Buxton delivered us well under the minimum amount required they happily waved the fee as we were first time customers. Theres nothing better than working with a local, family owned business. We contacted Buxton Oil to have our first delivery and they delivered within 24 hours of our call, provided a digital receipt as requested, followed up with us after the delivery to make sure everything went well and was competitively priced while offering many options for oil delivery and payment.

Made a delivery date 1 week in advance, very nice woman said to call back on Friday and they could check with the driver on time. I had told this lady that I was coordinating with Manchester services to clean and start it for the season, and didnt mind waiting for the next Friday the next Raymond lady!! She even thanked me for coming back.Today delivery day, Brenda called at 7 am saying that I had to be home if I needed my furnace started and $50 for an extra charge, I didnt need it started because Manchester services was coming. I called Brenda back and said no I dont need it started, asked when ETA approximately was! Brenda rudely said that they have other customers they wouldnt be here until at least afternoon. They are going to Lee 1st! I thought Friday was Raymond area day. I called back a second time somebody nice answered put me on hold and came back with attitude saying I already talked to Brenda, they could give me a call an hour before they came I argued but new Brenda had yelled at her. Nobody called me at all, my son came home and called again, woman answered was rude to him so he blasted her. Then she said they would be here after 5pm?? They close at 4:30 we found out when he called again 6:30 still no delivery. Called many times, different people answered then a nice man called me and said he could come with 10 gallons of oil blend and start it up!! Charge was for coming out and oil, I declined I dont have the money!! My son called again and got answering service, my son insisted on talking to manager or owner!! Then around 8:30 Buxton truck showed up and gave me the blend! Surprise now I have to wait until Monday when the company from Manchester to come!!Now I remember why I left Buxton because of the rude behavior and bad attitude games!!!! I am disabled this was Ridiculous!!Sunday I received a voicemail, checking to see that I was taken care of?? Didnt leave their name or Phone number I called back Buxton I got answering service who didnt have a clue who called me???

Just a few days before Christmas. Its a new house and we just discovered the oil gauge on our tank doesnt work. How did we discover this? As soon as our feet hit the ice cold floor this morning we had our first clue. The furnace refusing to spring into life was the second. We ran out of fuel.Did I worry? Nope. A quick call to Buxton and a driver was dispatched immediately. Mark (sorry if I got your name wrong) even offered to fire up the furnace and the heat was cranking in no time.After dealing with some of the bigger companies in the area, its nice to have a company that still works hard to provide top notch service.Highly recommend.

Weve used Buxton oil for our home heating oil for the past six years. Service is always top notch, and the prices have always been competitive. They deliver promptly when we call, and often sooner than they promised! (We do part of our heating with wood pellets, so we monitor the tank level ourselves)

I called last week for a delivery and was told they would be out on Friday. There was a bad storm that hit Friday and by 5pm they still where not here so I figured maybe they were finishing up deliveries on Saturday. At 10 pm as I was getting in bed I heard them pull in. I ran down to pay him and asked if he was done for the night as it was late. He said he had 8 more in Nottingham that night to do and that no one was going to go cold on his watch. He must have been working till at least midnight. His name was Glenn and was very pleased they kept there word. Great customer service. Thank you Glenn

Was running low on oil called them to schedule delivery, they no showed twice, then of course I ran out of oil . When I called to try to get them to come ASAP to fill my tank since Ive been without heat or hot water for 2 days. The lady laughed when I said I dont want my pipes to freeze. If they were to freeze then they would have been frozen already was her answer. And when I asked for an explanation for the no shows her answer was oh it wasnt me that scheduled you what an answer. Like it matters who schedules you. Generally very rude, talk to you like theyre doing you a favor. Not like youre a paying customer. After all of that my bill for a single fill, came out over $640. Thank you, Will take my business somewhere else.

This is the email I sent to them, have never had a responseI am putting this in writing because I am so upset that I probably would be unjust to whoever I got on the phone.The reason is the failure of your auto delivery program, which has left me with an empty fuel tank which as of this moment I am still waiting for a delivery, and has probably been empty since Monday given the temperature in the houseI travel frequently for business for extended periods and yesterday on my way back from Potsdam NY I got a call from the man who has been doing work on the house and had stopped by to leave some equipment, who said that the temperature in the house was down to 44 degrees and checking the tank found that it was empty. Since I was on the road I asked him to call Buxton for me, which he did.Maybe a little under an hour later I get a call telling me that the driver will not go down the driveway until I get it sanded. Needless to say I was upset and asked what they could do as I was 2 hours away and other questions, such as since I was on auto delivery why did this happen? Isn’t there some kind of emergency service that could just get it running until I could get a sanding truck, which the reply was no, not till I took care of the driveway, which I answered that the man who called me had no problem getting down the drive. Well we were just going round in circles so I hung up pulled over and looked up who I could get to sand the driveway.Accomplished that, but it would take a couple of hours for him to come over, which was fine since I still had another hour on the road.Once he had finished ( at about 3:30) I called Buxton to say that the driveway was sanded, which they then told me that they would not get anyone out here till the morning, at which point I just ask that I be the first on their list which they assured me they would. Well it is now 10:00am and still no oil.So to continue the saga, I thought I could make it through the night without a problem, by putting out all the electric heaters I had in strategic points of possible freezing, but when the temp inside dropped to 37 degrees by 5pm I was afraid of a bigger bill for burst pipes that the cost of an emergency call. So I call for emergency service, and at least I can say that went very well. Olofson’s was here in a snap and 10 gallons has gotten me through the night, but the house was so cold it is still trying to catch up and I’m fearing that the 10 gallons will not last much longer.So I hope that this will explain why I am asking that you will take some responsibility for this situation and compensate me for the $195.00 emergency call. Had you taken into account the severe stretch of cold weather we’ve been having, maybe you would have been here before this situation occurred. Also this is not a first time occurrence for us with you, but this has been the worst experience yet.We’ve been customers of yours faithfully for 13 years, but this situation has given us a reason to spend some time researching other options.I hope to hear from you,Respectfully,(It is now 10:25 and no oil)

If anyone is looking for an oil company around the Raymond, Derry, Fremont, and Exeter area DO NOT USE Buxton oil company.. They clearly are not prepared to handle any snow or other winter obstacles. And besides their drivers being completely incompetent/lazy, their customer service skills at the office are horrendous!!I was told by one of the women in the office that she would get ahold of one of their drivers in my area to see if they could make a delivery to my house tonight, considering I had left them I voicemail last night saying I needed 100gallons of oil delivered to my location. I even explained that due to this recent snow storm my driveway has since been snow-blowed but there is still a miniscule amount of snow caked to the ground but all of our family cars had no issues making it up to the top. Well, come to find out this employee never gave me a call back to inform me that there would be a driver heading my way.So, an hour goes by and finally there was a delivery driver who shows up but he has no common courtesy to knock on our door to ask us to move my car out of his way.. This whole time I was dealing with a fussy/tired baby so I couldnt just run outside and move it on a dime. No more than 5 mins go by and he just packs up his truck and leaves..I even informed these office employees that the delivery driver who comes out to my house will need a much longer hose(my step dad lived here before us and has seen Buxton first hand park next to the guard rail and run an exteneded hose directly to my house). 30 seconds after the driver leaves my house I receive a phone call from Diane who tells me that we need to sand & salt my whole driveway and to also move my car in order for them to deliver my oil. Due to the extreme lack of effort made by this company in time of need I will be finding another oil company who can actually handle easy situations like this one.Thanks for nothing, Buxton!

Priceing is missleading, borders on false. Delivery is standard, what youd expect a delivery truck to do.
