Take your business elsewhere folks. After after they canceled an appt.citing staff shortages and having to reschedule an appt I showed up at their office and they required mask. I went their in the 1st place because they did not require me to wear a mask except when seeing the doctor which I can understand. Now they require everyone to wear a mask while in their building. RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!

This location has canceled scheduled appointments twice the day before appointment citing staffing shortages that evidently only occur the day before my appt to get a tutorial on using contacts. I asked to waive the training as its been over a month since original appt and they refuse citing legal reasons. So they wont waive training and continue to cancel appointments the day before. Very poorly managed location. Find another option if you can! I wont be back.

This place messed up and lost an appointment that I waited a month for. They did not make it right and work it in. I called the corporate office and was supposed to receive a call back which did not happen. I guess they are not worried about poor service and correcting an error that was made on their end. They had chances to make it right and took the high road. They dont even deserve the one star.

Trying contacts for the first time. All I can say is the staff is awesome here! Patient, helpful, respectful, polite! Office is extremely clean and both Dr. Chung and Hauck were great as well! They were honest with me about he learning curve with contacts and the potential to have to change scripts. I will be coming back here not just for my follow up, but for my future needs in prescription eye wear!

The staff was very nice and helpful. They were willing to work my contacts and glasses to be the best deal with my insurance. The office was clean and they were taking measures to be safe during these difficult times.

In todays world it is often difficult to remain positive and friendly. Today when I had my eyeglass/contact exam I was greeted with wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy more then that. The staff such as Amanda and Jen were very warm and welcoming, they were interested in the things I spoke about, and they were upfront with how everything works. I really appriciate that. Then there is Cayla with a C. Make sure you spell it with a C. What an awesome young lady. She was kind, honest, caring, and not pushy with anything. She helped me to decided on my contact plan of care going forward. Finally there is Dr. Chung who was friendly, honest, mindful of multiple medical issues I currently have ongoing, and was able to answer all my questions without hesitation. I recently moved to Ephrata, PA from Orlando, FL, I have seen plenty of doctors in this area and Dr. Chung has been one of the best so far. Thank you for all you folks do at Eyeland Ephrata!

First visit to an eye doctor in over 20 years 😱 All employees were pleasant and helpful. I will return in 2 years for another check. The only down side was my appointment didn’t begin until 45 min after my scheduled time. However, the doctor did not waste any time in between clients and was very professional ⭐️

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The Doctor was very thorough and nice. When needing to choose my new frames the girl in the front gave her honest option on how they looked. Very happy with my new glasses and my experience.

For a long time my husband and I were going from eye doctor to eye doctor trying to find someone we liked. From the moment we stepped into this office we knew we had finally found the one! The staff is friendly, easy to talk to, and yet professional. The doctor is very nice, efficient and friendly. We are very happy with this office!!

This place was not great at all. The receptionist had a very rude tone. I felt discriminated against. They pushed my appointment behind 3 other people even though I got there before they even did. When I asked why people were being seen ahead of me I went us to ask how appointment times worked and with a rude tone I was because I was 2 minutes late even though I explained that I got lost because I did not know where the location was since I did not live in the area. Then she continues to say that if I am unable to wait I can go. If you are colored or a different race I would not recommend this place to you. I am now waiting in my car before I curse someone out. I have not seen the doctor yet so I can not comment on him. The other person I spoke with on the staff was nice but the receptionist is rude..... When I finally saw the Doctor he was great and very nice. Like I said only one issue I encountered was that receptionist aside from that it was a nice place.

I only post reviews for really exceptional service or horrific service. I would strongly recommend that if youre looking for a new eye doctor you check them out. Just got back from my eye exam with Dr Chung, he was the best Eye Dr Ive ever been too, knowledgeable and had great suggestions. Than I had Jen B for my glasses fitting and contact order...So helpful, again great service...friendly, patient, and saved me quite a bit of money!! Thank you!!

I have tried other places for my exam and spectacle needs and have been sorely disappointed. I returned to Eyeland, and was treated in a professional manner. Trying to save a small amount on glasses just cost me more in the long run. I suggest using Eyeland.

My initial reason for selecting Eyeland Optical was due to the selection of frames they have onsite. The added bonus was the employees; from Dr. Hauks exam to all the gals on the sales floor... it was simply a good experience. Jen (I hope I remembered her name right!), the office manager, helped me with frame selection, and was very knowledgeable and patient with my indecision. She was also well- versed on what looked good and didnt, understanding the shape of your face and what frame might look best. Its just an all around nice place to go for your eyes!

Exam went too quickly. My eyes were not checked properly. Office is rather a money maker than a pro optical place

Had first eye exam at Eyeland today. Was very pleased with the service and attention to details. Since this is an in network provider, the prices were great. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality exam and service.

I love this place! The staff is professional, helpful and friendly and the Doctors are some of the best Ive encountered. This is the only place I go for exam! They have a wide selection of frames for eyeglasses and sunglasses and they dont hover around you just to make a sale! The give you time and space to make a selection without being annoying but are willing to help if you have questions. The bonus is... the quality is far above what Ive found anywhere else!

We had a great experience with our first ever eye doctor/center. The exam was quick and thorough and the woman who helped us with the glasses was funny, kind, and informative.

Stopped in several times and they never have appointments available or the doctor doesnt work on the days that I can come in. Super frustrating when you want to get your eyes examined and need new glasses. Ive tried over a year for appointments and the same story. Going somewhere else.

This is a great clinic. Everyone is nice, but reception is bad at communication and it was very slow to get my glasses and contacts. The doctor is fantastic.

Was there at 8am on 7/28/18 and the woman working fixed my glasses for free. It was an amazing experience and I highly recommend the Ephrata Eyeland Optical

The prescription that I got was perfect through the eye exam glasses but once I got the actual glasses they were and are blurry. Also once I got the glasses when the lady asked if I needed something adjusted I told her to spread the nose pieces apart and she had said you couldnt. So I went home and did it myself in under 30 seconds. They also never offered me a warranty and when we told them that they tried to tell us that they always offer a warranty to all customers. Not a fan of this place and wouldnt recommend. Their glasses selection is also quite bad if I may add.

Doctor Hauck was terrific and the staff was helpful and attentive. I am grateful for the prompt delivery of two pairs of glasses.

I just received my new glasses form Eyeland on 3-8-16. With a coating of Crizal No-Glare lenses (comes w/lifetime warranty) and new script, I couldnt be more satisfied! The customer service here was the best, by far, Ive had in the 30+ years wearing glasses; from picking out the glasses (all three floor employees helped) to the Dr. examining my eyes (he found that I had an astigmatism that was never found before) to the short delivery time. Unlike Sams Club and Walmart, they filed my insurance claim for me (they were directly reimbursed) and used a computer program to use any discounts available. When all was said and done, the cost was equal to or less expensive than the above mentioned stores.Thank you Jen, Caitlin, Donna, and Dr. Kevin Chung.

The doctor did a great job for both e and my wife but we are still waiting for our glasses to come in i was told 7 to 14 days now it a month . now i understand that they had a problem with the frames and they called two weeks ago and said they would be done but still waiting . still nice people just slow

Terrible. Dont waste your time. Constantly going back to get over priced glasses repaired and everytime Im there, they are pressuring someone into paying a large balance that insurance isnt going to cover. They also got the prescription wrong for all three of us. We ended returning several times and waiting long periods to get everything fixed.

I receive superior vision care and eye exams from the doctor here. Staff is also friendly. A tad pricey, but that is expected from smaller chains.

Fair prices and great service.

Contacts here are twice as expensive as online. My insurance pays up to $105 for contacts. My first 2 boxes just so happened to cost $110. Then when I tried to order more online or turned out that my benefit was all used up.Also my prescription expired after just 1 year. My prescription at Walmart was good for about 3 years. These people seem scammy.
