The simply south boutique is a clothing and jewelry boutique. They stay up-to-date in fashion and accessories. They add a dash of hometown love with clothing and jewelry that represent local teams. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall great place.

I used to frequently shop at this establishment when it was Jo Jos. Today I went to shop for costume jewelry, which was in the jewelry case up front. Initially in the case with the way that the lighting is in there, the earrings looked nice. We left the store and were literally only gone from there at a max. 10 minutes and took the earrings out of the bag. Upon examining the earrings, you could see terrible scratching on them. If someone would like to see pictures inbox me and I will be glad to let you see them along with the receipt matching the day that I made this review. When we promptly returned to the store, minutes later, we showed the earrings to the young lady that had checked us out. She of course said that she could not see anything. She then called an older woman over to look at them and we were then told that we could exchange them. Since there were no other ones that we liked, we asked for a refund and were told that they would only exchange them. I repliedIt has literally only been 10 minutes since we left. That reply was met with a deer in the head lights look from who I believe to be the manager/owner. We exited the store and will never be back. We would have certainly given them more business as we did when it was Jo Jos, but I would not recommend anyone doing business with this establishment. I was always taught to treat others the way you would want to be treated, and this is a rule of thumb especially in the south, so they do great disgrace to the title Simply South

To clarify/correct an earlier post.....I was the customer with the floppy hats. The review however, was from my protective, somewhat irritated daughter who DID purchase her hat from your store.Yes, I have been in there 4 times and personally spent over $100 with plans to purchase more today. Your selection is unique, displayed nicely and the service was originally exceptional. I (we...that is those in our group bringing in work to you) were referring you to others!I think the issue was communication...or perhaps the lack thereof. Had we known that you preferred not to work on items not purchasrd in your store (we DID call and ask if we could bring items in) we would not have done so. I was frankly embarrassed when you were telling me how my how my business sucked for you as you could not compete with big box stores. I thought doing ANY business with you was a good thing!Having said ALL that! I sincerely apologize for the incorrect evaluation of your store as overall you have a gem of an establishment and could not have been nicer the first time I met you. Would not want to hurt you or your store and everybody can have an off day.

Love this place! Kim is great and so helpful! So many unique items to pick from. I love to go occasionally just to see whats new! Definitely recommend!

I was very excited to stop by Jojos Boutique today. I follow them on Instagram as well as Facebook. The minute you enter the store you are always greeted with a friendly hello, can I help you? I pop in and out sometimes with specific needs and sometimes just looking.I was in there today and I was going to get in line and was promptly interrupted and cut off in the line so a customer could complain about something that she expected to return. She was very irate, had a child approximately 4-5 years old with her; as well as her Daughter. This woman was wearing her Wal-Mart vest and I wish I had taken the time to catch her name.I had my 10 year old son with me and we were purchasing a fidget spinner and a pop socket for his sister.The woman began arguing with one of the girls in the store and the employee politely stepped away to get the Store Owner. The Owner came to speak with this woman and was listening, asked for the receipt and verified the date of the sale. She came back to explain to the angry customer and really politely said, This was Purchase more than over 7 days ago. Our store policy is exchange, refund within 7 days from the date of purchase. As I looked around the store it sure enough has a sign on the wall by the cash register, as well as on the counter and it is also printed on the receipt.The irate woman used very foul language and had no problem using the F word and then threw the product at the store owner. The woman said, Here you can have it, I will take care of you by writing a review online and never shop here again.If there is one place I have purchased things from and always walked away satisfied it has been there. No matter if it is a gift, earrings, monogramming or what I purchased today. I thought I would post a positive comment.To you, the store owner, you kept calm and handled yourself very well considering the language and I do not think that angry woman would appreciate you doing the same thing to her at her place of employment. There were plenty of others in the store to witness this and we all agreed that you should pat yourself on the back for a job well done.People like that are what is wrong with our world today. I hope you did not take her to heart or gave it a second thought. You set a very awesome example in front of my son that her behavior was totally inappropriate and you stayed calm.I highly recommend Jojos Boutique to everyone!

Brought a bunch of floppy beach hats to get monogrammed and the owner was very hateful and and got upset that we had not bought the hats from her even though she said she would monogram anything we brought it. She is making money either way but we will no longer do business with her.
