We just got a thank you cookie bouquet delivered from a customer, the condition it came in was awful. See below pictures, such a beautiful and sweet gesture, I do not have the heart to mention how it was delivered. Completely broken apart cookies off the sticks and broken, the bagged cookies are smushed and the icing is sticking to the bags melted together, everything’s smashed and thrown together in a mess.

Another great place to get cookies for any occasion. I highly recommend you order from them. They even have Gluten-free options, Awesome!

I had same experience as another post. My cookies arrived broken, they seemed too soft or slightly undone in center. The front designs were melty and stuck to tissue paper. Ive been ordering this company many years but I think this is last time. Im too embarrassed and will not give as gift, very disappointing. I contacted via email two days ago and no response.

Amazing product as always however this time over the top service! My friend sent me an arrangement in the middle a tropical storm and my part of town was very bad and the tree had blocked the road I live on and it’s a pretty decent walk and the person delivering walked all the way in the rain to deliver my package. I give this business only one star, not for the service, but for the cookie itself. I have placed two orders for delivery with this location. BOTH times, they got it wrong. I placed my orders some time in advance. First order was delivered on the wrong date (too early, ruined the surprise). Second order was LATE by 2 DAYS and the order was a mess! I tried speaking with the owner Joe, but he is a coward and leaves it to his staff to handle the customer service calls. I will NEVER, every use this location again. Completely unreliable and unprofessional!

So disappointed in this business. I ordered a cookie basket for the labor and delivery nurses who delivered my baby boy. After spending over $80.00 on one cookie basket, they charged and additional $21.00 for “hand delivery” of the basket to the hospital. A week had gone by since I selected the hand delivery date, and I had not received any email confirmation that the cookie basket was delivered or other confirmation of recipient receipt. I called the Englewood franchise and there was no answer. I left messages with the front desk who said I would need to talk to the manger and still no one called me back. I called cookies by design directly and they were able to confirm the basket was delivered via fed ex and left at the hospital and NOT hand delivered. I then asked if I would be reimbursed for the hand delivery fee being that the basket was not hand delivered. The main customer service line said I would need to contact the Englewood franchise again. So I called and left a message for the store manger again and to date have not received even a call back. I am just so disappointed in this business for charging $21.00 for “hand delivery” and then failing to provide ANY confirmation of the basket being delivered until I called up myself, then upon calling up, I find out that the basket was not hand delivered, just left at the hospital, yet my card was still charged for the most expensive delivery method fee of “hand delivery”. And then to not even get a call back from the business is just ridiculous and unprofessional. Would never order from them again. There are so many other basket and cookie package companies that have better business practices and better customer care.

My first intro to Cookies by Design was when I received an arrangement after surgery. The cookies were absolutely fresh and delicious, not to mention what a smile they put on my face. Since then I have sent arrangements for various reasons, and they are always well received and quickly consumed. There is a wonderful assortment to select from, and every occasion is covered. Go ahead, order some! You will not be disappointed!

I sent baskets from here in the past and the recipients were very pleased and commented on how tasty the cookies are. Having lost time due to the flu this season and not having time to bake, I decided to order a Christmas basket plus an additional dozen to take to my son’s for Christmas. The basket arrived on time but was missing the additional dozen. When speaking with Melissa, she sincerely apologized and said she would speak with her boss about it. Within minutes of our conversation, she called and said she would deliver it herself along with an additional dozen that day. Not only are these fresh and delicious, customer service is outstanding. I wish I read the reviews on the place before wasting my money!!! What a shame, cookies are not gourmet. I sent them to someone who lost a family member and he told me they have better chocolate chip cookies in Costco. He also told me the cookies with writing on them were tasteless. He ate a couple and thew the rest out. What a shame because they were expensive!!!

I had an excellent first-time experience with this shop. I placed my order online, it was promptly delivered the next day to a home an hour away, and the cookie arrangement looked fantastic even though one of the cookies fell off the stick & appeared missing in a picture the recipient sent me. I contacted the shop about that missing cookie & was promptly refunded for that one cookie, which was a very pleasant & easy resolution to my concern. The recipients said the cookies were delicious & they loved the presentation. Great job!! Id definitely order from this location again, especially because they stand behind their product & service.

Just received my order today. First of all , the message that I asked to be written on the cookies were NOT written at all! Recipient had no clue what the order was for because it had a random saying on it. I called and they put me on the phone with some random staff member who told me to put gloves on and fix it how I want after they send me new message cookies. Are you kidding me!? I spent the money to get a professional bouquet done by PROFESSIONALS. Soo they said they will refund me 18 bucks! After I spent $100. Yeah that makes sense. Never ordering from them again. Spent waaay too much to get the wrong cookies sent and less than 20 bucks for a refund.

Great cookies!! Cookies by Design has always been my go to place when celebrating an special occasion for my family or friends.. They taste great and look amazing. Never had a problem with any Cookies by Design franchises. The Englewood store did not let me down either!!

My niece loved the cookies and the presentation. I loved that they were delivered promptly, on the scheduled delivery date. The basket was so festive and made her truly feel like the BIG SISTER! Thanks for making her first experience as the big sister a memorable one!

These cookies are really really bad. We ordered a test batch of the small round cookies for a corporate event and we all spit them out. Were def. not ordering them for our event. They taste like dry play dough. One look at the ingredient list and it was no surprise why they tasted like garbage. These shouldnt even be fed to prisoners on death row. There was also a lot of plastic waste in the individual wrapping of each one. The one star was given because the decoration was very cute, but that certainly doesnt warrant buying them.

I sent this to a colleague who recently got a well deserved promotion! I wasnt in the office when she received it, but she was telling everyone about it and showing it off to the people who were there! She absolutely loved it!!

While my order wasnt delivered on the day it was supposed to be delivered on 10/26 and the delivery company they used held on to them because they couldnt deliver on time the day of delivery ...Cookies by Design made it right.....they delivered a basket with gourmet cookies along with 2 Halloween cookies to my sister in Edison for her granddaughter TODAY 10/26...PRICELESS....the video when my grandniece saw the Halloween cookies. .. Horrible experience! I ordered two baskets of cookies to be delivered as a thank you.. One basket was delivered and after we realized that the other basket was not delivered, putting me in an awkward position to begin with, I called the store. I spoke to a woman, who could care less and said that the driver forgot about the other basket! She said that the driver would return, but at that point the people that the basket was for were no longer there! Awful customer service! Would never use again... It was a very expensive Thank you!

The cookies I ordered for my baby shower favors were done on time with no hassle and came out beautifully. They are expensive, but it was worth it for me.
