Centerfield is one of the best comic shops in the area for anyone looking to start or continue a pull list of comics, or collectibles figures and cards. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that he doesnt have the massive stock of back issues that other stores in the area have, but he will try to help you find whatever you are looking for.

Scott is a great owner and nice guy. Great for comics or any other nerdy hobbies you may enjoy. The space is great for meeting with role playing groups.

Scott Jones, the friendly owner, goes out of his way to provide fantastic service to his customers. Great selection of current and old comics, collectible toys and figurines, and cards. I refuse to buy comics anywhere else!

Amazing local comic book shop. The owner is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Prices are also extremely competitive. Everything is easy to find if you are just browsing due to the fact that the store is so well organized! I always look forward to a trip to Centerfield.

One of the best Ive ever shopped at The store is very spacious and the merchandise is presented and ordered very well. The staff is very helpful and pleasant (a rarity in this business, Ive found). Tables are set up in the back for gaming.. The owner is always running back issue sales, so theres no reason not to take advantage. His back issue prices are among the lowest Ive ever seen too. The only negative is that most of it only extends to the 90s because its been picked apart pretty well. Still, its always good just to pick a random title and introduce yourself to a new book and character. Although Im not in gaming or toys, he has a massive display of new toys that extends the length of the store. He has also has a pretty good selection of posters and even sports cards, with everything presented really well.This place is easily my first choice to shop, although Id also recommend Charging Star Comics in Johnson City.

Ive been a customer of Scotts for over a decade, and couldnt be more pleased. He runs a great shop, works hard to care for the needs of his customers and is an all-around friendly guy. There are other local comic shops closer to where I live; Ive been to them and have no issues with them at all. But I choose to do my ongoing business at Centerfield.

Great comic book store! Visited another year for Free Comic Day, friendly owner and staff, lots of collectables around. Gladly will visit again.

Very nice but way understocked. The 1 in downtown ithaca has probably 10 times the amount of inventory and is just an hours drive away.

Ive been shopping here for years and Centerfield is just an awesome shop with great comics and gaming. Scott is always on top of things and extremely helpful with finding just what youre looking for.

Sadly the owner is bigoted and immature. Rants about his hatred of the lgbt community and verbally threatens patrons with violence if he isnt agreed with. Disturbing to say the least.

Comic selection isnt the largets, but the owner is very friendly and helpful. Cam often times find missing issues from more recent series that are popular but not super trendy.
