Nice people working here, but often understaffed. can we assume theyre passing the savings on to us? other locations like Oceanside and up in LA always have better produce than his location. sure have lots of products.

Huge store and well stocked, but only one checkout stand is open, out of 7 to 10 available stands! Who wants to stand in line for 30 minutes to pay 99 cents for something? I left!!! There were plenty of clerks in the store stocking shelves and not a one could come and help? This is a management and training issue. Someone needs to implement better customer service for this store.

Great store, the workers could use some help. Cashier guy is cool. The manager has no people skills, at least act like you care.

First thing, its unfortunate that i cant give this store zero stars. This has got to be the most grotesque store Ive ever experienced. I was doing my shopping today Sunday April 11 2021 around 9:00pm when I saw rats running up and down the aisles and onto the food (vegetables). This just goes to show that this store is filthy. The worst part of this experience is that I told management, specifically Alma and the audacity of that woman, not doing anything about it, she must be removed from management, I will contact corporate and the health inspector to inform them about the disgusting conditions of this store and nasty incompetent manager Alma. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE and contact corporate to have this store closed down, so we can avoid our family members from getting sick. I will report this!

Great produce and cleaning supplies! This store always has some treasures that are gift worthy.

Outstanding produce, brand name products and more. The value and quality is just outstanding. You wont find everything you will need for e.g - a standard recipe, or every type of item you find in a normal supermarket - but they have incredible fresh produce, and many brand name products at an unbeatable price. However, places like Costco are just as inconsistent in that regard. Ever since I discovered this place, it is one of my go to standards - for produce, and many brand name items (assuming they carry them at any given point in time). It may be the luck of the draw, but that is in part what makes it so enticing and amazing. The people who work there are also very friendly and super helpful. They provide all kinds of items, at a fraction of the cost of the local standard supermarkets. Ranging from tupperware type containers, to batteries, to paper plates and more.

This 99Cent store has nice produce and I was very pleased with all the holiday decorations! Plus my cashier was super friendly!

Went in May 7 early morning and saw 2 big rats and smells really bad in one of the aisles! This is the worst store! And really disgusting!!! I used to buy all my groceries here but NEVER AGAIN. YALL NEED TO CLOSE DOWN THE STORE

This Only 99 has the best assortment of all 99 cent stores Ive ever been to. Even though there are items priced over .99, they were priced appropriately. I ended up spending 103.00 and the funny thing was one of the items that I needed they did not have, that was a bubble lined mailer. Oh well there are other stores to hit.

Good 99 cent store. Always clean. They manage to keep the place in good order and organized. Unlike other 99 cent stores where the people just trash the place and the employees dont bother to organize it at all. The employees working the register have always been nice and courteous. Even though some days the seem to be understaffed. They do a great job.

Be patient and enjoy the 99cents and above prices. I like the people that stock shelves and staff the registers. Its a busy place because the prices and quality of specific national brands are jaw dropping. I feel blessed that I find products I can buy within my budget. This is the place I go first for great prices. If they have it, buy it now since it may not be in stock later. Its clean well organized. Even the restroom is clean. The employees have always been helpful and kind. Plenty of parking.

Great selection, and a very nice produce section with fresh fruit and vegetables. The staff was very friendly. I find it hard not to splurge when I am there and end up leaving with tons of bags of food and random things I probably dont need but for the price why not. Recommended.

Always too much random stuff you might never buy....but for $0.99, why not? Food is not taxed, so you can easily pick up some staples and vegetables (of ok quality), for little. Nice people work there.

Well organized and full inventory of all your favorite 99 cent store items. However there were monster lines backed up at 2 registers. The woman who rang me up, a very slender blonde lady, was fast as lightnin--so more power to her! She really saved my overall experience of the store.

I Go to store about once a week. They have many items that you would pay 2x as much in other stores. There is always something that I need. You should check them out as they are a fun stop.

This is a pretty decent 99. Its clean and has some good deals. One star off because lines can be very long, Ive walked out more than a few times because of long waits. Another ding for the 99s continual price increases. It used to be all .99, then .99.9, then a few 1.99s, now there are lots of items over .99. Remember where you came from, man.

My fist time to 99 cent only at Encinitas,it was great for the most. I ask a young man that worked there some questions about product ,he was very friendly and knowledgeable.However I asked a woman who worked there where is your make up located? and she said she didnt know and No English however I saw a Latino man ask her a question and she answered him in english!! Then another young white gal asked her a question about where a product was and once again the worker told her No English very disturbing to having had to experience this as its also happened to me at the 99 cent store in Oceanside on Mission.other than that I loved your store,very organized, clean and stocked,I didnt get there till 1pm so many of the specials were already grabbed up.Some stores put limits on the specials for instance only 2 same items per person ( on things like turkey lunch meat,swiss cheese slices,McCafe ,big bags,drug store make up,Oreo thins( big package),Organic produce ext....)It just isnt fair as not everyone can get to the store at 8 am and by 8:30am all the specials have been wiped out by a few who get there early and buy 10 or more of of each speciality product.

Produce dept is amazing...theyve upgraded in every which way possible ....the new crew is just awsome ...shanttale is one of the produce girls and she is a doll ....so helpful not just with produce but knows where everything is .......if u havnt been to 99cent only store go u ll love itSad to see shanttle & Eva gone those were the two produce girls OMG the customer service skills were very professional and they were delightful they made it a very pleasant shopping Experience every single time .HIRE THEM BACK ! WHERE R THEY I want to hire them ...where is Olga the little manager she was fun . Nice !. The crew now there is no communication w/ them sucks!

I like how coordinated this staple shop was. The shop, cheddar, produce items were efficient. The floors were so perfect and flawless. The entire store smells so wonderful. The staffs were extremely useful, and obliging too.

I had no intention of buying fresh products, but seeing the quality and the prayers I decided to fill my fridge with vegetables and fruits. I also found some things for the decoration of my studies that I have for rent at a very good price.
