A very thorough eyecare medical provider. The staff are patient, funny, friendly and did I mention patient. I think I tried on every pair of frames in the office and there are hundreds from high fashion to basic. Each touched pair had to be sanitized and they sanitized them. The specialist I worked with picked a pair she thought would work for me, and in the end, hundreds later I ended up with the pair she picked - they are that good. Thank you Morris Eye Group!

The office is spotless, waiting room chairs spaced to comply with current COVID precautions. The equipment is sanitized before use. The techs are polite, professional and knowledgeable. The Doctor was great. She took her time with the exam and answered all my questions. A pleasant experience.

The receptionist was very helpful to help me with check-in procedure. The technician that helped photograph for my eyes was very knowledgeable doing his job. Dr. exams my eyes was very professional doing his analysis on my narrow ankle symptom. Overall I’m very satisfied with that examination.

First time at a new eye doctor in over 10 years. They were able to get me an appointment next day. Very high tech, fast, and everyone was extremely kind and caring. And, the actually called my insurance company to get me the maximum benefit possible. I highly recommend.

My first visit to the Morris Eye Group was in March. They diagnosed a severely detached retina. They referred me for emergency surgery. As part of that evaluation it was noted that I also had cataracts. So I am back at the Morris Eye Group for cataract surgery. Dr. Johnston and the staff there are terrific. They are kind, caring and compassionate. Dr. Johnston answered all my questions and concerns. And I had a lot! I am looking forward to the first of my two cataract surgeries and the best possible outcomes.

From check in, testing and consult with the doctor Excellent experience overall. Maybe I would just would like to recommend maybe still keeping at least 1 chair in between patient to give elderly or people with chronic conditions a peace of mind for now that Covid 19 still a concern . Beside that all was a great experience.

Ive been going to Morris Eye Group for almost 20-years and have never had a complaint. The most recent visit involved meeting a new doctor, and thanks to their meticulous record keeping the new doctor was caught up. The visit went very smooth.

Everyone at Morris Eye Center were terrific. The front desk was efficient, Dr. Johnsons nurse couldnt have been nicer and Dr Johnson is thorough, nice and tells it like it is. I found a home for my Eye Care.

I went to Morris Eye Group to pick up my contact lens prescription. The woman who was supposed to be “educating” me on how to use them reversed the labeling on the right and left contact. I have astigmatism in one eye so the shape of the contact lenses are different as well as the prescription. I could not believe how uncomfortable they were and I could barely see. The woman told me I would get used to them and to put a couple drops of solution in my eyes if they continued to bother me. Fortunately I read the indications for the solution she gave me and it was for cleaning the lenses and not meant to be put directly into the eyes. I was ready to swear off contacts entirely but ended up going back to see the eye doctor the following week and she realized the contacts were reversed. I wrote a review that was internal to Morris Eye Group because I wanted to give them an opportunity to address these errors before sharing my experience in a public forum. I never heard back from them, so here it is on Google

Check in was a breeze. There were a few steps, but all were necessary. The staff were all professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and answered any questions I asked. All in all, a very timely, friendly, patient, and thorough examination. I have always been happy with Mossis Eye Clinic.

Dr Aminlari is excellent! He did a very good job explaining my cataract procedure and appeared very confident. My procedure went smoothly with no surprises!! Brenda S is the best too!!!!

Recently I changed vision care providers due to insurance changes. I am very satisfied with Morris Eye Group! The staff was very prompt and helpful, from making the appointment and completing documentation electronically, to the actual visit. The technician was especially GREAT, as she thoroughly explained what to expect as part of every test. (Sorry I dont recall her name!)

The care that I received at Morris Eye Group was state of the art and very thorough. It was discovered that I have a new condition which had not appeared a my last year’s exam. I didn’t feel like I got the best description and explanation of this condition. The explanation was adequate, just not in as much depth as I would have liked. All the personnel working at Morris were helpful and friendly. The wait time to see the doctor was a tad longer than I would have liked. All in all, though, the visit was fine.

The staff at Morris Eye Group were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and very patient with me as this was my first ever eye exam. I felt all procedures were explained well and they made sure I was comfortable moving through each new step. I walked out with a great understanding of my vision and things to self monitor for the year. It was a great experience.

He turned me over to a young woman to explain scheduling and cost and insurance coverage.Well she must have been hired away from a used car dealership finance department. My experience went from excellent to angry and upset. Wondering if I should ever set foot in their facility again.Hopefully her tenure will be short.

The online portal is very convenient.During the actual appointment, I checked in on the monitor and had a short wait before going thru eye exam process. All of the staff were very helpful, friendly, and informative.I met with Dr. Tan who was beyond helpful. All in all, it was a great experience and I will certainly stick with Dr. Tan and Morris Eye Group as my go-to optometrist.

Overall they do a good job with lens refraction etc standard procedures. There is a wait. Give yourself 3-4 hours to get your eyes tested.

Ive been going to the Morris Eye Group for more than 10 years. Ive seen their staff and Doctors come and go. Theyve managed to keep the level of service both from an administrative standpoint and from the Doctors Ive worked with. My only complaint would be that they seem to always be running behind, so even if you show up on time for your appointment, youre usually sitting out front for quite a long time. Im sure its difficult to manage such a busy office, but its been this way ever since I can remember. That said, overall, this is a very high quality, professional organization. I would certainly recommend to friends and family.

I found my doctors eye exam to be very thorough and I will become an on-going patient of the practice. I like electronic check-in and am comfortable with it. I just felt the check-in process was a bit long and tedious in light of the fact I had just been there a month before. There should be a question asking if insurance or other payment methods have changed since the last visit. Its overall a very nice practice.

It was different than my normal optometrist office. However, the people who work there made it comfortable to be there. Each person I saw was professional, courteous and seemed to care about the patients and their job. Even though it was busy everything was orderly and went smoothly. I especially enjoyed my time with Jillian. She and I had similar interests and she explained everything very simply so I was able to make my choice quickly.

Super efficient and I was out if there in less than an hour including ordering new glasses. Their use of kiosks are great but for those less tech-savvy they will still jump in to help. Latest technology in the exam makes everything quick and easy.

This was my first visit to Morris Eye Group.They are on time and efficient. My eye exam was a thorough and they even recommended that I come back and see their dry eye specialist. I also ordered glasses during this appointment. The optical technician was very knowledgeable and really explained my insurance coverage. She also helped me pick out really cute frames while staying within my budget. There are coveted guidelines in place all glasses are disinfected before theyre put back on the shelf. And I felt really comfortable trying on aa few pair. Great appointment overall.

I am so grateful to Dr. Aminlari for saving my vision. He diagnosed and has treated my glaucoma and performed two cataract surgeries with perfect outcomes. He is the best ophthalmologist Ive ever had. He explains everything, Hes exceptionally bright and skilled, and a really kind, lovely man, also. All the assistants at Morris Eye Group were very patient, and explained every step of the evaluation processes. Dr Johnson gave good explanations for my up coming cataract surgery. I cannot wait for the surgery and feel very comfortable to receive the surgery.

Extremely professional and thorough. I went for a LASIK consultation (after contacting at least 5 other companies) and this was by far the best experience. This was one of the best appointments Ive had. Of course, the waiting room was empty when I got there, plus for me. Check in, due to staff shortage, was me entering information into a terminal and scanning my CDL & insurance cards into the machine. Quick. Confirmed my information on the receptionists tablet and waited to be called. Did not wait long to be called back and quick between each tech and the doctor. Biggest drawback is trying to purchase glasses there. Even with my good insurance, price is too high.

It had been a long time since Id seen a eye doctor, so I had optometric, optician and ophthalmology services during my visit. Everyone made by feel comfortable. The office is staffed by friendly professionals who put me at ease by explaining exactly what was going on each step of the way. The optician broke down the cost of various frame options and was able to the pros and cons of each choice, so I know exactly what Ill be getting. This time was great as it has always been. The sectaries were sweet & kind. I waited for a short time ,then they showed me to a assistant that asked me some questions , then I went back to my seat were I waited for a short time. Then I was shown to my Dr.who spent a lot of time with me. He examined my eyes completely , gave me a few samples and then walked me to the receptionist who gave me a appointment for the next time. They washed my place really good, ready for the next person. I would recommend them to every buddy. I feel the Morris Eye Group is GREAT.

My eyes were examined by the technical staff.They used several different types of technical exam equipment, looking for any problems in my eyes,took pictures and movies of the inside of the eyes. Then the Doctor went over all the findings and explained everything to me from the readings. Really great experience. Very professional and courteous staff.

My first time to this office and I didnt have any problems whatsoever! Didnt have to wait too long before being seen since I was a new patient. The usual start of the exams are doing a bunch of tests for your eyes which I expected being that I had the same with another previous Optometrist & Ophthalmalogist office. Dr. Tan is fabulous as she listened to my concerns and made recommendations. If youre looking for an eye group, I recommend you try this office as you will not be disappointed! Also an easy find in North County San Diego.

After attending the initial consultation I feel completely confident and at ease pursuing LASIK here. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and great. Can’t wait to actually be able to see without glasses in a few weeks.

The staff was efficient and helpful, but the check in process is ridiculous. Prior to my appointment, I had to enter information as well as submit pictures of my health insurance care and license. When I arrived, I was sent to a “computer” to enter the same information. I had to ask the person at the desk clarification questions. Luckily, there wasn’t anyone else checking in. In the time I took to have my (repeated) questions submitted, she could have entered everything herself.Once check in was done, the rest of the appointment went smoothly!

I had a good experience. I had been to Morris Eye group during the pandemic in 2020 and left my glasses there for new lenses. Unfortunately I had some financial setbacks and was not able to pay for my new lenses. I went back last week for an annual visit and to my delight they still had my old glasses and I am currently getting new lenses in them :)

The office staff, optical department and Dr’s are all so friendly. Anytime I need my glasses adjusted it’s no problem. The Dr explains everything as they are doing your exam and answers any questions with hurrying you along. The optical department takes time to help you pick out the right frames and gets you what you need in your lenses. Great place!!!

I have been going to Morris eye center for over a year & am very pleased with the treatment I have received. I have seen both Dr. Volk & Doctor Tan and they both helped my vision & taught me how to protect my vision in the future. I recommend this center very highly.

I hesitated for a moment because I dont like the chasm between 4 and 5 stars. Scheduling here was a breeze, the staff was highly professional, I got an excellent work-up, and I have great respect for the Ophthamologists (Dr. Johnstons) diagnosis of my issue and his recommended course of action. I will say that the check-in process is a bit cumbersome and that it frustrated other patients who were checking in when I was there. Also, the office was very busy (which is, I suppose, a good sign), so it took me two hours start-to-finish; I wasnt mentally prepared for that long a stay!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Meghan was great at explaining the tests she was doing and what I should expect to feel like. She was very patient. Dr Tan was really nice and spent time with me explaining all the test results and what we would do in our future appointments. She is very easy to talk to.

I was due for my annual eye exam and also new to the area. I found the staff, techs and doctor to be excellent in their interest in my vision and eye health. The equipment is up to date, and it is clear that all folks were excellent in their specialized areas. Morris will be our place for vision care for the future.

I usually go to lens crafters but recently discovered they are out of network for me. I received a very through exam and everyone was kind and professional. Just be aware that appointments can take some time to book. When I was done with my appointment i was asked if I wanted to schedule another one to go over glasses since my eyes were dilated and I couldnt see. If i had realized at the time getting back in for my new prescription would take three weeks, I probably would have picked out my frames even though my vision was fuzzy.

I was greeted by a very pleasant receptionist that welcomed and instructed me on where to sign in. After a short wait outside. I was then brought in and had my exam with Doctor Werrell. The entire visit was about an hour. Very relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend their office.

First time patient here! The process was really easy you go in and check in on the kiosk. The staff was really nice and helpful and Dr. Kasai was incredible. Definitely recommend going to go get your eyes checked and make sure you go here

The staff was all really great, I loved the newer doctor I saw too. I felt really taken care of. The only bummer was that I had to wait an hour for my appointment, not sure if they were just over booked for the day, but it seemed like everyone else was waiting a long time too.

Everything was pretty good however after filling out an extensive questionnaire regarding issues with my eyes, burning, watering, and other issues, the doctor did not address any of them. The photo person and the eye tech were great, the OD not so much. What is the point of the questionnaire if the doctor does not read it

My daughter and I had appointments together at the Morris Group. This was our very first time and was referred by my insurance carrier, so I was skeptical on what the outcome might be. We were both thoroughly pleased with our visit, the entire experience. We arrived and the reception desk employees were very friendly and helpful. All paperwork is digital which is great. We filled out our new patient information via the link sent to my email. Upon arrival I completed a history overview, again electronically. I love this much better than paper.The staff were all very friendly, made you feel welcomed and at ease. I had tech, Abe who explained everything to me prior to conducting any tests for my eye exam. Abe has a great demeanor, professional and has a great sense of humor. He made the experience much more pleasant than feeling like your just a number. We met with the optometrist at the final stage and he was very pleasant, made us feel at ease, went over our results in detail, and made sure we understood and asked if we had any further questions, concerns, etc.We then met with the staff employees to get our eyeglass frames picked out. We had Abraham who was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, pleasant, had a great eye for the type of frame that one might like. He was very helpful and provided a great atmosphere and experience in what I feel can be a most grueling process to pick out frames. He intentionally listened to what we want and like, and he was able to deliver on the right frames for us. My daughter finds it overwhelming as well to try to figure out what frame you may want and if the selection is too big it becomes far too much. They do have a great selection of frames at Morris Group and we were absolutely pleased with our frame options that Abraham selected and we were able to pick our ultimate favorites.It was a great experience and we cannot wait to go back and get our glasses in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend The Morris Group.

Great doctors! The optical department needs some help though. All in all its a convenient location and we have confidence in the doctors. They are very explanatory.

The staff is great Dr Tan is super sweet. I would give them 5 stars ⭐️ but due to the optometry department, I gave them 3 ⭐️I been coming here for 2-3 yrs I went to get glasses 🤓 come to find out thru friends I paid too much. Almost $2000 for 2 pairs of glasses when you can pay from $200-600 at Other locations snd name brands. 😮 I have never used glasses my first time and I feel they should of been a bit more informative. I tried canceling my glasses 2-3 hours later and they said no refunds well it’s not refund it’s a cancellation. Learning experience 🤯

I had a very good visit at Morris Eye Group last week. I was worried about my eyesight as Im 76 yrs old and have had some blurry vision lately and was worried I was not seeing as clearly as I should. All came out good and I was so relieved that I felt I was seeing better just knowing my eyesight was stable and not getting worse. I will go back in a year for a recheck. Thank you.
