Both the doctor and Angela were awsome. Angela took the time to review all of my insurance and discounts. She was fast and detailed with a smile.

Shannon is amazing and consistently so! She makes you feel so comfortable and has a great eye for finding the exact glasses that fit your face and compliment you. Super professional place and excellent customer relation skills. Glasses were in way before expected time frame and I cannot say enough nice things about this place!!!

I purchased some glasses online recently and needed an adjustment. I had called a few stores to see if they would adjust with no luck. Because I didn’t buy my frames from them, they couldn’t help me. I was able to finally get assistance from LensCrafters though!They were happy to assist me. Ronda and Shannon at the Elyria Midway Mall location were wonderful. Mase when I walked out of the dr. Office asked if I needed help picking out frames. I said yes he asked a few questions and picked out the exact frames I was looking at before my exam... Mase was not there yet. He was knowledgeable and friendly.. He asked questions that I was never asked before... was I right or left handed...he explained in detail about the reading area of bifocals....I never heard of such a thing... Mase never tried to sell which was the best part he just talked and asked questions about what I did. Also never knew that there was a premium anti-reflective... my last few pairs of glasses came from a competitor because of insurance. I will now come back to Lenscrafters insurance or not.

Came here to see my optometrist to address recent eye pain. I had Lasik surgery 5 months ago, which worked out miraculously, but I recently experienced a constant deep ache in my eyeball. Going through the standard exam, it was brought to my attention I could get optional glasses to improve my distance sight in my right eye. Well, duh, yeah! Do I want x-ray vision? Truly warming place with excellent customer service. Mase helped repair my glasses that had a 95% chance of not being repaired. He was able to fix them and helped so much. Went to Lenscreafters to replace a broken pair of glasses. Mase was very helpful and knowledgeable. We talked about proper care and cleaning of lenses, discussed how anti glare coating works, the different material properties of the plastics lenses are made out of and how they change based on my prescription. Then we talked about Frame styles that fit my prescription better, and how suitable each type would be. I ended up with a nice Ralph Lauren frame. Overall it was a great experience I learned a lot and Ive been wearing glasses for 35 years. Thanks Mase and everyone else at Lenscrafters Elyria!

Nice staff, mostly kids. The selection of frames and sizes is quite limited. In the future before I even get into lenses, etc...I will be checking the variety of frames and make they fit me properly. I inquired about ordering frames in my size and the employee definitely did not like that idea. So, ended up with something I dont like but, the lenses are great!

Im from out of state, and they offered to ship them to me for a small cost and I received them within the week, although the expected time was over 2 weeks for processing due to my lens choice. My 86 year old mother fell on September 26 and was hospitalized. She bent her last pair of glasses very badly. So, on September 28 I took that pair and her best pair of glasses that was broken to Lenscrafters to see if they could repair either pair since my mother needed a pair to see. The team their spent almost an hour and were able to repair both pairs. I was very impressed with their professional service and hard work. It was not easy to repair. My mother was thrilled and was able to read, do crosswords and watch TV during her extended stay in the hospital. I would recommend this location to anyone needing glasses. They are a first rate team!!

I was a customer for 22 years. Service used to be outstanding. I recall leaving in a huff about a year ago, but didnt remember why. Went back a few weeks ago: Receptionist failed to enter my appointment. Sales clerk didnt know what the size information on the frames meant. (Believed the 54 meant the hinge to hinge distance of the glasses was 54 mm. I pointed out 54 mm is about two inches. She grabbed a small ruler, and stated my glasses were 14.5 mm from hinge to hinge. I pointed out that was centimeters, and she looked at me like I didnt know what I was talking about. Choosing frames was like foraging. Find a few you like, then wait to find out if they come in my size (they didnt). No they dont sort frames by size, and cant search their inventory to find frames that are available in my size. The optometrist seemed good and was patient and thorough in answering questions. I cant speak for the lens making since their front end people (receptionist and sales) were too incompetent. I never got that far. In the past lens quality and service were outstanding. Very sad. This place used to be top notch.

Mase, the person who helped me was amazing. I was told from a different eye glass place it would be 10 to 14 days to get new glasses, they also said no one could make my glasses any sooner because of the rx. Mase got me new ones in less than an hour! I know I have a strong rx but honestly that means I really can not wait up to 2 weeks for new ones. (My old pair came up missing). He knew I was on a time crunch because I had to go to work. Over all he was an amazing employee.

Terrible tracking system for orders. I have been waiting for three weeks on glasses that were promised to be delivered within 10 days. For four days straight they tell me that the order shipped today and will be here tomorrow. Tomorrow always comes with a new delivery promise, but no glasses. This is my first and last time using LensCrafters.

Very disappointed and will NEVER return. I purchased glasses on 4-15-19 and picked them up 4-22-19. Called them on 4-26-19 and told them my vision is blurry and these are not right. I can’t see stop signs while driving.Was told give it 2-3 weeks. And to wear my old ones while driving. Well I called my insurance and they said I have 30 days for a return. I called several times requesting a re exam and yet I wasn’t asked to have a re exam. 🤬 They acted like I was a BOTHER. I will be seeing another eye doctor. My advice to anyone looking into lens crafters DONT 😡😡😡😡😡Kim Johnston

After learning that my son needed glasses and with a limited selection of childrens glasses at his optomotrists office, we visited LensCrafters and were pleasantly surprised. The store carried a substantial variety of childrens glasses and even accepted our insurance to help offset the cost. Tamara was very helpful yet was not pressuring us into purchasing from them when we left to browse two other vision stores in the mall. We ended up purchasing from LensCrafters due to the selection and promise of glasses that same day. After purchasing, we received a text within 15 minutes that the glasses were finished! Amazing service at a price comparable to competitors that take 1-2 weeks for glasses to arrive. After reading several negative reviews, we almost didnt even try this Elyria location, but Im happy that we did, and we will likely be back for a second pair in the future!

I HAD been going here for years. Made an appointment get there only for them to tell me they dont take the insurance. ummm thats probably something the 97yr old receptionist should have checked in the call they gave 24 hours previously. This doctor and staff are terrible and now im stuck having to find another eye doctor because of course none of my records are on file. Just ridiculous.

Really dislike the eye doctor and will not be back for next years exam.if he is still there.
