Good food but wow the price is insane! I went in at 4:00pm and ordered one regular order of pork with rice and it was EIGHTEEN DOLLARS!! $18???? From previous reviews, it seems like they just make up the price depending on how they feel that day. Not very trustworthy.

Food is usually better than what i last had.. Rice was dry and they gave more bony part of the chicken than meat.

There food is decent. The lady at the counter is insanely rude, and the reason why I dont go there. Also their prices are ridiculous and always changing, it seems they make it up as how they feel.

Really good selection of food. Everything looks fresh. The only problem I have is that each day they literally charge me a different price for my exact same order (1/4 chicken and broccoli) everyday.

Delicious amazing great excellent mouthwatering food, but the price is expensive. I bought fish tilapia or fillet with white rice and beans and sweet plantains and it cost about $17 and some change. The price is insane. It should be about maybe $12 the most and not 18

One of my new favorite restaurants. They make everything good. The staff is nice and portions are generous. They have fresh juices as well as other juices (like guava, tamarind, etc.), Dominican cakes and flan, and of course all the delicious entrees.

Have been here in the past and it was pretty good. Just noticed the renovations after being out of town for a few months, and the food even tasted better as well. Always smiles on the faces of the servers and the aromas make me want to try one of everything. Had the camarones, pernil, and yucca, with a side of avocados and maduro. Firstly I will say I’ve patronized this Business for years and maybe that’s part of the problem they get too comfortable and feel like your there because there’s no other choices. Their location granted is convenient and most of their dishes(with the exception to the dishes filled with sodium) are good, the prices on the other Hand have gotten ridiculous!!!! Last week after months of not buying food there, I bought five Avocados, no meats, rice nothing and asked for 5 garlic sauces which are delicious!!! Without hesitation the owner automatically rang up $11.84😂 so I asked her if she was aware of my order, she proceeded to look in the bag and said “ mama garlic is very expensive” before I could tell her I wasn’t taking the order she recalculated the price To $7.84. These are the kind of Business practices that they conduct here and it is unacceptable. When you get greedy you loose customers bottom line.

The food is fantastic and the owners and staff are super nice. Cant go wrong...go ahead and order small or big and they will come through. Caribbean, Spanish and South American foods are really a good mix here and taste awesome! Even has a small dining area.

I would give it 5 stars because food is excellent and always fresh tasting. Just wish they had faster service. Perhaps they do later in the day when there is more than one person there. I always go in around 930 in the morning. Their coffee is really delicious too.

Stopped in to grab a la Carte dinner for my family. It must have been around 4:30 pm. Ordered the whole chicken with large tray tray rice and beans with plantain. Charged 5 bucks for the plantain though not a deal breaker. When I got home and sat down to eat with family. My 9 year old informed me immediately that the chicken didnt taste good. I took a closer look and and noticed the chicken was dry as abone. Breast of the chicken crumbled as I picked it up. The other items were fine and as expected. But for over 20.00 I would have been better off going to Boston market.. I wont be back there

The restaurant owner charges customers whatever price he feels like that day. I go there once in a while and get the same order every time and he has charged me $16-$23 and when you question him about the price he immediately changes it to the right price, and yells at one of the servers for actually telling you the price. Horrible place

Be careful that they do not try to swindle you with their prices..Its sad to say but every now and then they have a price for the meal on one day and another price the next day...What helps is asking for the meal price up front and asking if its in addition to or including Tax and simply refusing to pick any meal from the buffet till you know you can pay for what they charge.Rating is more because of how good the food tastes for the area which has many of us going back.. This place never disappoints. They serve fresh food for reasonable pricing, there is no waiting time even when they are loaded.

The food is amazing, the price is very reasonable and the portions are very healthy they arent scared to feed you at all. They have the best rotisserie chicken in NY and the spicy shrimp is also amazing again though dont regret going here at all. And they stash is very friendly and courteous.

Excellent Spanish food from various Hispanic countries. I had the turkey wings with Morro and beans with maduros. It was all awesome. An enormous plate I could have shared with three people. Reasonable prices. They were very steady with customers when we were there.

ATTITUDE, ATTITUDE ATTITUDE!!! Every time I go here Im reminded why I dont go. The service is horrible. It starts when you walk in. This place is set up as if takeout orders are to be placed when you come in. Why have the area open with a counter. So the cooks stand there and instead of directing people to the back to order, they ignore you until you address them. So I went to the back but of course no one will offer assistance unless you catch someones attention. If they were busy I would understand, but when Ive gone - it never is. Today, one of the ladies that take your order was eating right by the cashier and ignored me while the older lady (that was doing nothing) continued to chat with the lady eating. Go to the back and eat or sit like the customers and eat. I wish this neighborhood had more options. I almost forgot to mention how expensive they are, not worth it!!! They changed their name once, but the service is still the same - HORRIBLE!
