4 trips ordered parts wasnt in stock. Didnt even call when parts were in. Then parts didnt show up on delivery date. Distill 4 days after date part was to be in still no call.. Never again.. Your best of walking if you want parts at Elmira n horseheads locations. Will never buy anything at these Auto zone part stores.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I have shopped at this location and the one in Ithaca. I have been waited on by 1 female employee and 4 or 5 male employees and I appreciate that they dont approach me as though Im a girl who doesnt know anything about my car. (I dont know much but I can do simple maintenance tasks.) I mention this because I have had it happen elsewhere. They are always helpful when I have questions and the Ithaca location was great about the exchange when I bought a couple of defective headlight bulbs. I also appreciate that they are open evenings and weekends.

No complaints. Rarely busy. Youll get in and out without waiting in line and if you need help, knowledgeable staff is on hand. I also really like that for most simple services, battery check/replacement, fluid fill, wiper replacement, etc... the staff will do these things for you.I went to this location is my business attire, which is full suit and large, expensive coat, needing a fast wiper change in bad weather. They made a recommendation specific to the weather in our area (turned out to be spot on) and seeing I wasnt exactly dressed for the procedure, offered and executed the woper change for me. I slide the guy a 20 on my way out, but I suspect that isnt required or expected.Well worth a visit to this location. No work you need to have done in your car is as hard as you think. Stopping here, asking questions, buying the material and doing it yourself (or having them do it) saves big bucks!

Employees are not very helpful at this a location. Was handed the wrong part twice and then when I told both workers that it was wrong, they started to argue with me. The store was clean and nice and neat. Thats why they got 2 ⭐

Considering that the car was having issues it was a pleasant experience. The staff were able to quickly & accurately answer my questions. They also were able to assist me with filling some fluids & some other miscellaneous help. Overall the visit improved my day & I left feeling satisfied with my purchases & the service I had recieved.

I stood there at the paint section for a while looking for the right color. They helped the guy next to me, and everyone at the register. Then when I was the only one in the store and in plain view of the employees they stood there talking to each other. Didnt bother asking if I needed help at all, so I walked out. I guess customer service isnt as integral as they say it is for them.

My brother loves this place he is a mechanic that any vehicle owner would be happy to have him work on there vehicles affordably
