Love my Acme store. 100 Suburban Drive. Grab my Starbucks because Im a fresh pass user. Great app. I only say I wish you didnt have to pick your Upics. It should automatically do it if your a member.

I will not go to acme anymore and it has been a tradition my mom, my sister and grandmother all shopped there. The employees are miserable. The employees act like you are interrupting them. When you use the self checker everyone stares at you as if your going to try and steal something. They need to hire matured men and woman who actually need their job and will act like proper employees. Acme had been told by several customers about the issues but management doesnt take it seriously.. they dont care that the miserable employees are causing them to lose loyal customers

Clean store .. not too big but ok for the size of the town . It appears is the same chain than Safeway stores in Arizona..not too crowded Monday night.

Ive had groceries that actually no and then in Elkton Maryland almost a friend in my face and they seem to cant help you enough they need to get a little bit more people working behind the belly area theres always a line back there because theres only one maybe two people to wait on you. Do stop in I have a variety of everything that you could possibly want if you dont see it ask and youll get it for you. Hope to see you shopping there

Acme is awesome, they have high quality meats and run great deals on them. The only thing that could be better is the prices, everything is crazy expensive. Also I had to use self checkout as there were no actual registers open, that was a first but something I found inconvenient

One star but it would be zero if that was an option. Service at the fresh seafood counter was terrible. When I walked up a white customer was being helped. The associate was friendly and helpful as well as prompt. Im next in line, waiting. The associate is literally doing nothing behind the counter. The associate did not greet me or want to help me. After waiting another person walks up and the guy then asks what do I need. Automatically I feel like he finally addressed me only because he had a white customer behind me that needed help. So to not keep him waiting he decided to help. I then head to produce. Absolutely disgusting. Everything was bad and had fruit flies. I’ll never walk in to this acme again!

The people that work there might be young BUT they work hard friendly and helpful to customers AND the girl who works the front desk are friendly courteous helpful AND makes you feel like youre family. The manager?!not so much

Deli was super crowded with only one person for a while. Someone came out to help and it went much faster. Love the staff here.

The Acme is more expensive than the other big grocery stores in town. But its a full & complete chain store with the best bakery of the 5 grocery store s in Elkton. Lancaster brand meats are legendary in the Mid Atlantic Region as is the American Store !

Okay to get milk and bread n basics ,but always check the expiration dates,I learned the hard way after getting sick a few times to look before purchasing anything out of this acme.They arent gois at re stocking or taking the expired items off shelves.I bought some very expired dairy as well as other products from here.They also need to hire more cashiers.

I Shop At Acme Grocery Store Often When I Am In Need For Groceries.. In Acme I Am Able To Find EveryThing That I Need For Me And My Family..

Prices have gone up there a lot. Always have to wait to check out because there is usually only one cashier open. For some reason the deli only has ONE meat slicer so it can take forever even with multiple employees because they all have to use the same slicer for everything. Pharmacy (Savon) has gone downhill since they expanded.

Rude workers! Not only that it’s extremely comfortable being stared down the entire you are scanning your items!!! No real cashiers so you have to scan your own groceries and they act like you’re going to steal. They do it to everyone. Very uncomfortable experience to say the least!!

This store is always clean and well stocked. The sales are helpful especially at this time.

Had a bad experience with the snow crab clusters. They where so tiny & if you dropped them on your plate they’d float like a feather & make a hollow meatless sound when they hit. I called Mike, the manager. He made everything right. I came back a week later when the bigger ones where back in stock. He ended up refunding & replacing my purchase with some monster size clusters. I can’t speak for other locations, but the Acme in Elkton has always been the best seafood around for a decade. Now I know that the Excellent customer service from Mike is watching over. I’ll always be a seafood customer with Acme for that.Thanks Mike!

I like acme just some things are a bit high.They do have plenty of fresh products which is very important.

Prices are high. But their Deli, Bakery, and Meat Departments are FAR superior to either Walmarts or Food Lions. Also, their fresh, in-house made subs are AWESOME. And at only five dollars, they are a great deal. To get a sub like that anywhere else, youd pay around ten bucks. I live in North EAst and sometimes drive to this Acme just for subs.

Store is always stocked with great prices and deals! Very clean and up to date! Love the side selection on random household needs!

The employees are are always nice. They are overpriced but they have always been. Elkton Acme is under staffed but if you go at the right time you can get checked out quick. They have been out of stock on quite a few things lately though.

Actually I dont really shop the market, I use their pharmacy. I have been using them for quite some time now and have always been satisfied with their service. The staff is always polite and very helpful. Whenever I have a question for the pharmacist, theyve always been extremely helpful. Their prices are usually below what you might find elsewhere. I do highly recommend using the Acme Pharmacy. The Pharmacy name is Savon, by the way.

Went here for the usual grocery run for the week and to grab some deli meat for lunches. This has been my go to store for a long time but bounce between this and the Newark location. I’ll make the trip to Newark from now on. While the store was in its usual state, there were a lot of items out of stock that surprised me (eg, bagels).Regardless, I realize the weather might have had something to do with availability as of late. What was completely disconcerting today was the deli experience. It has always been a free for all on Sundays. Today was no exception. Only 2 employees to support the steady wave of Sunday shoppers, like usual. For the past 10 years the numbers were used so intermittently that we all just ended up working it out. Today, however, the tickets were apparently in play. While my young daughter and I waited behind one other customer, others showed up. No one once told us to grab a number but the others that came after us and took a ticket were served despite the staff knowing we were there and never having said anything. I get it; I’m responsible for asking whether we needed to grab a ticket. But common courtesy would have informed the others we had been there and allowed us to get our very simple order. I did say something to those who showed up after us and they could have cared less. They went on to place their order and the staff behind the counter just gave a blank look. My daughter and I went and checked out of the Elkton ACME for the last time.Do yourselves a favor; go to Newark if it has to be ACME. Otherwise, try the other local options...Safeway, Food Lion or Martins (if you’re near North East/Rising Sun).

Any time I have a problem with anything, they are very quick to address it at this store. All the employees are always helpful and cheerful. The fruit and veggies are usually better than other stores where I go so I try to make it a habit to go here first.

I know its New Years Day. But I called ahead to see what time they stop cutting lunch meat. An I was told 8:00pm which okay fine. But I got there at 7:30. Went back to order my lunch meat an get told everything was closed down. An the man that was back there wouldnt help me. An got really nasty with me. Well if you dont want to deal with ppl you shouldnt be working in a food store. An it really upset me because I called a head of time. I will never go back to this store again at night. Only in the morning. Because the night ppl in the back are just not very nice. I called the store to let who every was in charge know what was going on.

Spent two hours in this store and had to do my own checkout because of a lack of employees. Acme is the most expensive grocery store in the area and they should have enough employees to provide decent customer service.

I go to Acme when they have good sales. Ive been going for many years. Yesterday I went to get a watermelon which was on sale with the digital coupon. Because my app wouldnt let me in because I couldnt remember my password I was denied the sale price. Ok for you Acme. I wont forgot that.

I think that acme has the best selection of meats, produce, and groceries for very reasonable pricing. The renovation has made it look a lot better. And things are now easier to get to. This store is always clean and well stocked. I have been doing my shopping here for 5 years now and have never been disappointed.

Acme has really stepped their game up since a few years ago. They tend to have higher regular prices than Food Lion or Wal-Mart on groceries but the amount of sales they have more than make up for it. Plus, the Just for U app you can download through the ACME app gives all kinds of great deals with digital coupons as well as rewards for so many points earned where you can get points totaling 1 reward, 2 rewards, 3 rewards, up to like 7 or 8 or 10 rewards (I cant remember how high it goes) or you can stack those 6 or 7 rewards for 1 and 2 rewards items and get a variety of things free or with money off and you can stack the just for U coupons with the regular deals or coupons ACME already recognizes. They always have get 2 for a certain amount which is almost half the regular price then you may have a deal from the just for U app to take more off it even end up getting stuff for free plus get your rewards. Theyve really done a great job becoming more people friendly and easier on your wallets or pocketbooks. They always seem to have fresh produce that looks really nice and healthy and is competitively prices with the other grocery stores as well.

Okay I went to get flowers for my beautiful wife and I almost fell down with there prices I got them there before and they sold for 9.99 but I went in there today and they was 68.00 and 30.00 and higher that is so not right just because its Valentines day they up there prices like they do with everything else its really sad that they do that to people I will not shop there anymore Walmart is cheaper

Large, clean, full selection with friendly staff. Theres a few things Acme in particular does extremely well: produce, bakery, and Hot Wheels (or so Im told, that wasnt me digging though all the displays).

Very rude. Just called to see what time they opened and was hung up on. I know the hours are on here but it also says senior citizens from 7-9 I wasn’t sure if it was only for senior citizens or if other shoppers can enter. She didn’t need to hang up on me.

Not so good cuz every time I go in there because of the way that I am dressed they assume that Im a homeless person and they follow me around and watch me

I’m not sure how much if it is a result to COVID-19 making prices go up, I started shopping here more regularly just at the beginning of the pandemic. I echo some of the other comments; it doesn’t feel like as much when shopping around the store, but it seems like the total bill at the register is just too much for what I take home with me.

Was able to get in and get out without any lines or delays - great store with reasonable prices, and great customer service!

The worst and I will never go back. Employees were down right rude and not the least bit helpful. I ask a clerk if there were any frozen peas and carrots in the freezer he was filling and I was told he didnt know and that I needed to look. So I did at Shop Rite. Then I went to the deli and was the only customer. The clerk turns and just gives me a blank stare. Didnt say can I help you or anything. She said nothing. I ordered my first item, she slices the meat bags it then lays it on the top of the counter and starts to walk away not bothering to ask if I needed anything else. For what Acme charges for things they should be very grateful for anyone walking into that store.

Nice grocery store, clean, lots of choices, and a bank. Staff is always helpful, Services good, and their fruit selection is usually very good. Sale items and coupon policy is very competitive but some items are higher-priced. Stick to sales and coupons, which they mix digital with manufacturer. Makes for some great pricing thats well worth the trip.

Not too busy, shelves are well stocked, lots of gift ideas thru out the store.

This is my favorite Acme store to shop in :) The customer service exhibited here throughout the workers in every department is wonderful. Im very thankful for their hospitable attitude in the Pharmacy,Deli,Seafood,Meats,check out...every section has a few favorite people that stand out for me but they all make it a hometown store. ♡

Staff is great which is always a plus. Unfortunately though I feel as though the store really needs to be reorganized. A lot of items are in isles that really dont make any sense. It would make shopping a lot easier.

Acmes has always done good customer service sense I first walked into there store back in 2003. There service is excellent because I never have any trouble with the. There excellence to customer service is the reason I keep coming back.

I ordered a cake for my nieces 6th birthday and it was supposed to have a picture of Marshall from paw patrol on it. Theyre photo printer stopped working apparently and instead of calling me and telling me, they just wrote happy 6th birthday Riley and put some plastic rings around it. Im VERY unhappy!
