Fairhill has been a great place to take my car for over 10 years now. If they ever find problems, theyll call to discuss options and will be very open about the price. The quality of their work is superb. At one point I needed a few hundred dollars of repair work done, but when they got into it, the issue ended up being a lot simpler than they thought. They could easily have charged whatever they wanted but they didnt take advantage of my ignorance. I had a much lower bill and a fully functional car.

Excellent service! Very trustworthy guys. I was told some repairs would be $1,500 and they only charged 754 the same repairs. I recommend these guys to everyone I know!

I cant recommend Dave, Steve, and their crew enough. Ive been doing business with them for 15 years. Its actually difficult to think of any 15 year relationship thats never had at least one problem - but thats what Ive got with Fair Hill Auto. Prices are beyond fair; the work is fantastic, and there is never any pressure for additional services. Ive had roughly 100 services/repairs done here and am just now getting around to the review.Patronize with confidence!

Cannot recommend enough! Took my Kia here after an accident had blown the airbag, but only caused minimal cosmetic damage. No other shop would touch me without insisting on fixing the expensive cosmetic work as well.He was able to fix the important stuff, AND do all the overdue maintinence for under my budget. And FAST too. A total Godssend.

Ive been dealing with Fair Hill Auto for approximately two years and have used them for everything from oil changes and tire rotations to a timing belt replacement. These guys are good, fairly priced and demonstrably honest. I never go back to the dealer except for my service included new car. I wont take my other three cars anywhere else but Fair Hill.

I wanted an oil change and a brake change for 1 axle. I had already bought the brakes and brought them with me. I believe I may have asked for a tire rotation too. Somehow this cost $330. I believe the oil change was listed as $20. There was only one other item on the bill, but I forget the category, that had the other $310. Now, labor for changing brake pads couldnt have been more than $100, I provided the brakes, and was only getting one axle changed. The bill should have been $120. The guy at the counter told me they had found something else wrong that needed to be adjusted. I cant remember what it was. I remember when he explained it, it didnt sound like a part, but instead sounded like an adjustment. I dont know cars. Its irrelevant, because ultimately I asked them for $120 worth of work, and they charged me $330. If there was a pressing item that they found that was going to triple the bill, they should have contacted me and asked if they could do it. They did not. Bottom line : I dropped the car off for $120 worth of work and they charged me $330 and did not confirm with me that they could do $210 of additional work. Maybe this was just poor communication on their part, a lapse that normally doesnt occur, in which case the other reviews will balance mine out, but my experience was 1 star and I will not be going back.

I took my car to Fair Hill Auto Center to look at a rattling noise that was diagnosed by another auto shop as worn struts that would cost between $800-$1100. When I told the mechanic about needing struts replaced, he told me he would prefer to look at it himself. It turned out to be a simple repair that cost less than $80, with an oil change included! The staff was polite and friendly, but most of all honest. They now will have a customer for life!

Oil pan plug didnt want to come off when I was changing my oil. I called and they told me to stop by and they would loosen it. They went ahead and changed the oil & filter with the ones in my back seat, in about 15 minutes, and charged me what I would have expected to pay just to get the plug bolt loosened! Ill definitely be going there again!

The starter in my 2006 BMW went up and I was stranded at Kohls in newark. I called, they told me what tow company to use and the tow company charged THEM. They fixed my starter and everything was done in a day. They even made a special arrangement so that I could pick my car up after hours. When I paid, they rolled the fix and tow into one payment which made it really easy. Ive always gone to the dealership but this place makes me trust the smaller local companies. Ill drop in at Fair Hill Auto next time I need something done next time.

Quick turn around, and they called me to let me know what was needed before doing anything on the car. They are very attentive to service. One time, I took the car back because of a wobble after breaks were installed, and they fixed what was wrong with a defective break drum that warped, no charge.

I had these guys replace the serpentine belt a while back and it came off going down the road three months later. At the same time, I asked if they could clean up the lens cover on the headlights. The guy used some type of rotating buffing/polishing machine and he tore the hell out of the rubber molding that goes around the lens and the lens itself was all scratched to hell. Very unprofessional job.
