I love to get to travel to new locations for work because I find random gems. After finding the location of my meeting I typed in coffee to Waze and found Folklore. The shop itself was adorable and look like something you would find in a college town. They had a huge selection of sandwich types and I got the croissant with feta cheese, eggs, tomato, spinach. I also got a Nutella espresso beverage. Both were incredible.

This is a great place. We have tried lots of different coffees…all outstanding! The food is awesome too…. We tried the beef plum soup and wraps. Try it yourself… you won’t be disappointed.

One of my favorite places! Definitely try the Frozen Nutella Goodness and the Davy Crockett sandwich on the honey oat bread.

Fantastic salad! Plus excellent latte, excellent workspace with outlets and super friendly staff.

Ive been there many times and theyve never messed up an order. Their seasonal specialty drinks are always amazing (especially in the fall/winter). Atmosphere is so relaxing. Every employee is nice and the service is fast! Also the Athena salad is very good!

Overall, good drinks and eats and a nice area to enjoy them. If you go to a coffee shop for decent coffee and a coffee shop experience, then you will probably be pretty happy here. However, If you go to a coffee shop for exceptional coffee, Im sorry to say, this probably isnt going to do it for you.

A very pleasant atmosphere, thier menu and food are first class, and I love that they are open evenings! Coffee with a friend, business meetings, and/or studying... This is my favorite place to do it!

Great coffee shop, with lots of space to spread out, get comfy, and work on whatever project youve got at the moment, I just with there were more vegan options.

The few times we have been here, the coffee has been outstanding & we will definitely stop back again when in the area. This past time the used book shelves had some gems for us that we purchased. The 2 young baristas were very kind & even checked ingredients on some of the food, due to some food allergies, intolerances, & sensitivities. We stopped at a time when even though a good number of tables were occupied with busy-working individuals, we had prompt service. The food sounds delicious, I just couldnt sample anything that day, due to my food issues.

Nice coffee house. Very clean. Nice place to go get coffee and sit either inside or outside to relax. Very cozy to sit inside . The employees are very nice and courteous. They do different varieties of hot or cold coffee

I feel like their coffee was way better than it was before... Coffee was great, space is perfect for working, spaced out, great service.

I come here at least once a week. It is a great place to get work done, and I have even conducted interviews here before. There is a hipster vibe, and the food is fast and fresh. I highly recommend the baked oatmeal, which is gluten free and delicious. There are many different toppings to choose from. My friend swears by the Johnny Appleseed salad, that is served with potato chips. There are always seasonal options as well, including drinks, soups, and even pumpkin chili. The lattes are made with love and I am always blown away by the art! They also give student discounts, which is very convenient. My only complaint is that once in a while they will be out of something (there was a time when they were out of sweet and spicy tea for over a month), but I love the place so much, I will let it slide :)

This is a unique and atmospheric space to spend time in. Their coffee was great and the service was friendly. I loved the pub-esque feel and the spaciousness: theres tons of seating for friend groups and studying. Their lavender latte was delicious. So glad I got to visit.

Lovely spacious well decorated, cozy cafe. Has a very cool vibe and friendly staff. Lots of seating options from tables, sofas, nooks. Carmel latte was a 10! Chocolate chip muffin also delicious warmed. Would be a great place to read or do work. Soft Indie and acoustic music playlist was on point.

Quaint, laid back atmosphere with good food and great coffee and tea. Large, spacious interior has lots of seating including tables, couches and cozy nooks to get comfy. Plenty of electrical outlets and free wi-fi makes this the perfect spot for studying or catching up on computer work.

Unfortunately, I wont be able to ever try your place out, today was the second time I waited 5 mins without even getting acknowledged while I was standing right at the counter to place my order. So I decided to walk out, not a single hello, were be right with you nothing, there were 3 people there all just talking away and 2 out of 3 looked at me but that was it. Ive really been looking for it your place since I live in town, but now its in my list of places to not go to.

My husband and I both ordered random lattes. I received a caramel mocha latte and dirty chai latte, both were delicious and not too sweet! I had coffee cake and my husband had an everything bagel. The atmosphere is cool and seems to be a local hangout spot for college students. The baristas were kind and helpful.

My daughter and I came to Folklore for a nice lunch. The atmosphere was great- quiet and comfy and clean. The drinks were delicious-frozen hot chocolate and a frozen mocha goodness.The food was below average. My daughter got a grilled cheese that was only warmed on one side and the cheese was not melted at all. The chips had a funny taste and were stale. Sad as the food was always delicious in the past. Maybe since covid and the menu is condensed the food has gone downhill.We will try again another time as we like to support local businesses.

Very nice ambiance and friendly staff. Had an amazing latte called the William Penn (apple butter, caramel and cloves) and my wife had a Nutella latte. Not sure what else they may have had going on, but it seemed like it took longer than. It also for anyone to get their food or drinks. Not the biggest deal, worth the wait overall.

I always love this place because they serve good food, great coffee and everything inbetween nestled with a really neat environment. Plus, theyre workers are always very friendly and accomodating.

Waited over 30 minutes for two sandwiches. It was not busy. So hungry we ordered bakery goods while we waited but they were bone dry and iced cold. They didn’t offer to heat them up. Poor service all around. Will never come back.

Folklore is hands down the best coffee shop in Central PA. Where to start? Well, the venue is inspired from literature with a wide open floor plan so you dont feel cramped. The drinks are always prepared masterfully, with a creative seasonal menu that always offers something new to try. The menu is perfect for breakfast, lunch or a lite dinner. Highly recommend the Finn McCool panini. Service is always friendly, and there is outdoor seating for the summertime. Whether youre looking to catch up with an old friend or need a fresh place to work for the day, Folklore has it all.

Pluses: Great space, cool and lots of room. Good coffee overall. Cons: Service is consistently slow though (no idea why). Baked goods are nothing to get excited about.

This is the best little coffee shop, the food and drinks are amazing. The atmosphere is really neat, whether you are working or doing school work or meeting up with friends this place is perfect. My only downside is sometimes it takes a while to get service since you order at the counter and the person who takes your order immediately starts making your drink. There tends to be a wait in between.

Ordered takeout online and my order had 5 or 6 changes to the items I ordered. None of them were changed at all. Asked for extra meat (which I paid for), different cheeses, and extra veggies. Also had a kids grilled cheese and the sandwich was hardly even warm with basically room temperature cheese (not melted). Other then these things the food was very good and hopefully next time our order is more accurate

Way to slow of service.

Its always a treat to go. Prices are normal for an urban style coffee shop. The decor is fun, with exposed brick and beam, original wood floor and local art on the walls. They have bookshelves stocked with classics and newer novels and a selection of games available for use. The food is always good and the drinks are yummy. Good and friendly service. Nice and would definitely recommend.

I love the Folklore! This is such an amazing coffee shop. The coffee is so good and they offer a variety of coffee and tea options. The food here is soo good and always fresh. Love breakfast here. The staff is always friendly. The environment is so relaxed, variety of seat options and it’s a great place to socialize with friends or even business meetings. Parking is in the back and there is an extended lot close by which is convenient. Love it here, must try!

Very slow service.

Pleasant, relaxing location for good coffee or tea, and food, in the middle of downtown Elizabethtown. Its roomy, and you can sit outside, if thats your thing -- but its a great option during a viral pandemic.

While we’ve enjoyed patronizing this establishment in the past (cozy atmosphere with activities for the kids; good drinks, albeit a little on the expensive side), the recent posts on their Facebook page indicate that they seem to prefer to place their politics over the safety of their customers. I don’t see how I could bring my family to a place like this again anytime soon.

The roast beef wrap was delicious and filling, served with pickles and chips. I plan on going back soon. Outside dinning is available too.

Ive been ordering their breakfast for a while now and they always deliver what I want. Even when they couldnt get it exactly right, they actually wrote an apology. The breakfast is really good, the smoothies are great, definitely something Ill gladly give 5-stars to.

Very cool coffee shop. They have everything from regular coffee to exotic pour-overs and interesting seasonal offerings. Parking on the street is cheap (a dime gets you two hours), and its a great place to meet up with a friend or business acquaintance.

First time here. A hipster atmosphere, but it passed the wife smell test so its a great place to eat. She loved the egg and cheese sandwich she got.Only reason for the 4 stars is very slow food prep. We received our order approximately 20-25 minutes after we had received our smoothies and they did not appear to be busy.

Good coffee. Good environment. I was grabbing a quick bite to eat before heading back to work. My only complaint is my bagel did not already have the cream cheese spread. A plastic knife was provided but I had to apply the cheese myself.Otherwise a pleasant experience.

Not a memorable place. I ordered the rose latte and there was zero flavor of rose. Was able to purchase rose syrup at a local ethnic grocer and enjoy my own creations at home for less than the price of one of theirs! Over priced and slow wait service.

Awesome little coffee shop. Great food. The two different coffees I tried were excellent. Has a shared living room vibe. Lots of room, could use some more furniture. Music was nice and not too loud. Great atmosphere, perfect place to meet up with friends, date night, or bring your laptop and just relax. Will definitely be going back and I recommend the panini sandwiches.
