Lots of amazinaa1g stuff, great prices, and name brand clothing! There is a bigger selection of shoes at this location. I love the new location.I do however wish there was more selection for men and boys.The staff is very kind and helpful.

Im giving 2 ⭐ s. They have great merchandise at great prices, so it was a potential 5 ⭐, but when it came to checking out at the register it all fell apart. We were the 5th or 6th customer waiting in the impulse buy isle moving at a decent pace towards our purchase. We were next in line to one of two cashiers, the customer to our right had 2 orders and a buggy full of clothes. The other cashier was finishing a sale, the customer left and we apparently disappeared because the cashier didnt look at us, talk to us or even acknowledge our presence. After stapling a couple pieces of paper, the cashier turned around and started talking to what appeared to be a shift leader/manager, who also was ignoring our existence, behind the counter. Retail employees should never ignore a customer, especially one that is waiting to purchase items from the store. I also work in a retail environment and know that it can be hectic and busy at times. At the business I work for, we would never ignore a customer. We greet customers as they come in the door and would never do this to anyone, ever. We stood at the counter for several minutes and discussed what was going on and wondering, why we were being ignored. The other cashier was listening to us and watching us, but also never spoke to us. After a few more minutes, we put our items down in the impulse buy isle and walked past the working register and the cashier that ran it, still with her back to us and walked out of the store. Still not a word said to either of us. Im a Sales Representative for a reputable company and I am just amazed at the lack of customer reception, service or appreciation that we received. This was our first visit and we will probably never go back. This is not acceptable behavior for any retail environment. Everyone else seemed to have a great experience but we just werent in the same store as them I guess. I want to say Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope no one ever has had or will have the same experience at this store, but Im fairly certain that we cant be the only ones. To Burkes, I hope measures can be taken to avoid this type of occurrence happening to anyone else.

Love this store. Its a hit and miss but everytime I go i find something. They have a variety of everything. Men,womens and jrs clothes, random decor, pillows, bed/bath products, costume jewelry, purses, it reminds me of a better tj maxx.

Did not buy anything. Workers were friendly, and busy when I was there. Just seems like there could be more in this store. So much wasted space. When it was Peebles there was so much more merchandise. Hope that changes, because not a lot of options for women.

Nice selection of items for your home. But extremely very slow at check out. Ran in took less than 4 min to get the item I waited 45 min in line this has happened to me 3 times and wasnt a long line 3 people ahead of me with not a lot of items took 2 cashiers 35 min

Since they moved, the workers have been rude. There is not enough clothes on the racks they have. Im forced to take a survey in order to receive my receipt. The supervisor let the cashier have 4 people in line behind me. I was told I had to take my return receipts and throw them out on my own..... Im sorry Im forced to take a survey but yet you want me to double handle the receipts as well and throw it out on my way out. I asked a worker if they had jeans jackets. Her response um, ya over that way. Which way.... golly show me. Not a good environment. Wont go back.

This new store is a lot better and very different than the old one by the dollar tree.

They need to carry a better selection of dress clothes for the office.

Burkes has a larger store now. Its much easier to find what your looking for. Elizabethton needed this store. We no longer have to go to walmart or Johnson city. Burkes staff has been friendly and prices are not bad at all.

This is a really nice store to have in town. We used to have to go to Johnson City to find this level of quality along with pricing, but its so much easier to just pop down the road here. Everyone that works here is super nice and always willing to help you out if you need anything or youre looking for something specific. We go in all the time!

I find some good deals in here. Service is pretty good. Aisles are small. Racks are stuffed on top of each other, somewhat hard to navigate. I think this store needs more space.

Burkes outlet has some beautiful clothes. I found a petite size jeans and tops. All very reasonable and hard to find petite sizes since rue 21 closed

I love this store so much. Better than Ross im sorry but they have great prices and everything. They have just about anything you are looking for. I love shopping at Burkes. I highly recommend whether you are a size 0 or a size 24 this place has it all. Not to mention both men and children clothing as well. Wish they had one in Scott County va haha. So thankful the one in kingsport is close to me.

Went to make a return the other day and the first cashier that was helping me was super sweet! She had to get the return approved by her supervisor.....that woman was so annoyed she had to come upfront and clear the return. Apparently i ruined her day..she comes up front with major attitude slamming down receipts and pens...wish i could have caught her name. I know exactly what she looks like and i will make it a point to get her name next time. It is just so terrible she had to come upfront and actually do her job!! other than her this store is great but they are lacking in the customer service dept. that is for sure.
