I had the food from this place for the fist time from the Cafe and it was delicious. Its Cuban style cooking and you can get the best cortito (Cuban coffee) there. Its at the border of Newark and Elizabeth NJ.

This business is more for Spanish culture cuisines and products. Its know more as a marqueta whice means market in Spanish. Dont get me wrong, they have all your necessities for home cooking and products as well. Prices are low and good just like most supermarkets. You can come here and pretty much get everything you need to get all home meal ingredients. Highly recommended for anything youre looking for. They also have a small business inside that cooks Spanish foods and pastries. My advice is, go try it, Im sure youll be back again for more.

The supermarket fits its customer base in that area, and so has everything that we need. Having a butcher right there is also a great feature.

It’s a bit pricey but if you are in the Latino community, you’ll must likely find your favorite snack from your country. There’s a whole isle dedicated to Latino and Caribbean people! Staff is friendly and the cafe on the left side is a must!

I like to buy because there I find my Peruvian products, such as Paneton Donofrio, Chicha Morada, etc.

The employees and owners do not enforce the use of masks and can’t even keep one on themselves. One of the workers would just walk around the store with their mask down to chin talking on the phone and coughing.

The store on Sherman Avenue in Elizabeth has a bunch of old ladies working who are nasty and disrespectful. The atore tends to put wrong price signs on products then at the cashier the price rings up incorrectly and then the manager says it’s human error and they are not honoring the price error. This is the third time it’s happened. I’m calling the better business bureau to make complaint. Calling the Elizabeth NJ Mayors office to complain also. This has to stop. This incident happened yesterday around 8pm and the staff was disrespectful and when I asked for their name the old lady said I’m not giving you my name.

They are always well stocked and have lots of registers open, which is convenient especially in the times we are living in.

Local supermarket offering fresh fruit and vegetables at bargain prices. Store is usually pretty packed, but there is more than enough parking to go around. There is a small restaurant in the building offering home cooked Latin cuisine if youre looking to pick up something hot.

Clean and organized. They carry many international products and ingredients that may not be easily found elsewhere. There were some really good prices but you have to be selective. The customer service, moreso from management, is plain rude. You dont go their to be treated well. Beware of baggers, Ive come home several times with broken eggs.

Almost everything u can think of is there, this is a wonderful place for low prices of commodities.... Moreso i feel that their free delivery bus us a good incentive. That bus has on many occasions brought me back home with my goods for free. I love this supermarket

I shop here for all my Caribbean products. Prices are ok for vegetables and fruit but the Fruit Market in Elmora usually offers better deals. This supermarket is Definitely not a place you shop at for the customer service. The nasty attitudes seem to be supported by management, it’s the norm. Fruit and vegetable department you might get some assistance but pretty much every dept is a hangout. The bare minimum to comply with service at check out you might get a hello but if they have a bagger they will talk to that person the entire time about personal things. Any interruption by customer expect retaliation. I got an eye roll and items purposely not bagged. This has happened a couple of times so I realized the best thing to do if shopping here is a must is DO NOT ENGAGE. Same thing with the little restaurant. They want you to order and get out! they are too busy to Be friendly. The meat department is probably the friendliest and they have the dirtiest job. In this area the next closest option for tropical fruit and vegetables would be Fine Fare.

Fresh food that I know of and I visit this store often. Not everyday but few times a month. They got mainly everything you need so who can complain.

This is a great place to get Spanish foods with a large variety of brands not just Goya brand. They also have Spanish produce that is hard to get else where at a good price. The meat section also sells meats that are quite good and reasonably priced with selection that Hispanics like and are hard to get elsewhere.. I dont shop here often I mostly go to Stop & Shop because they have better sales and cater to the American diets. I go here mostly for the above mentioned items and stock up on them because at the large shopping center they only sell Goya products which ok but some other brands are better and have bigger selections. Also their meant market is like the old fashion butcher where theyll cut up large sections of meat for you at no additional charge, just the way you like them. And no I dont know anyone that works there , IM only giving this place a good ratings because they have all the things I want in one stone that youd have trouble find, if you enjoy foods that are popular in Latin America Countys.

My review used to be 5 stars, however: this store surprisingly continues to disappoint and prove to be rather a nuisance. The only reason I go here is because they pretty much have what I need, but you should check out other places if you can. In addition, on more than one occasion did I find them intentionally overcharging me, a lady once scanned my groceries twice, WILLINGLY DOING IT WHILE I WAS WATCHING. Then another time I was charged upwards of $140 in total, for food that did not look like is shared that value. The staff team is somewhat okay with being disrespectful, I mean the cashiers are horribly mean with angry faces, not to mention the attitude. This is a business, a sad one at that
