We had been calling for 2 days and got no answer, we decided to go in person since on facebook it showed no appointment needed, came in the store no one greeted us we got in line and spoke to Nancy. She was extremely unprofessional and rude, she told us she could write down our name and call us back in 30- 45 minutes. It passed an hour and she never called us back we decided to go back and see if my sister in law could try on a dress now, when we went up to her she completely ignore us and walked away even though she looked straight at us, when I called her over she said she could not help us without an appointment and said the wait was now anywhere from 2-3 hours. We were really looking forward to purchasing a dress here but we will never go back and will tell my family and my friends about this horrible service. People like Nancy is the reason why this place has only 3 stars.

My daughter was a dama in a quince and traveled from San Antonio to try on her dress a month in advance. Apparently, the dress had been discontinued and there were none her size available. So, the owner took it upon herself to approve a dress one size larger with her idea that her seamstress would fix it up. No calls, no double checking if that was how we wished to proceed, just made the judgement call to spend the dress money that way. We were completely taken by surprise by the whole situation. Then, when my daughter tried it on, the next size up that she had ordered was crazy big AND the seamstress was only available for limited hours on Tuesday and Friday, which was impossible for us. She refused a refund, tried to convince us to have one of the other girls (who lives in El Paso) come back with the seamstress to get it altered for her (dress is now 2-3 sizes big for that girl and the breast area looked like Madonna Sytle Vogue cones on her) and assured us that it could be fine when altered. Finally, after 4 different trips to try to remedy the situation and the owner conveniently being unavailable, leaving instructions with her salesclerk that we forcibly HAD to take the dress, we met with the owner and she finally gave in and refunded to help us out rather than admitting to her mistake and overstepping, as if she were doing us a favor. Throughout the search for both the Quince dresses and the dama dresses for 3 different girls in our family in 2021, La Popular staff was pushy, judgmental and unhelpful. The ONLY reason that we returned was for that unique style dress and we will not return again.

Excelente customer service!!The young lady was so attentive and nice, she was very helpful but at the same time gave us our space! No rushing or pressure to buy a dress, or attitudes because you cant decide on a dress. My daughter loved her experience here and was even able to decided on a dress that was way better than the last place that did us wrong. I recommend going during the week if possible shortly after they open, places like this have been getting more and more busy on the weekends. Its just more relaxing when theres not a lot of people.I would definitely recommend this place!♡We went on a Tuesday around 1pm.

Amazing customer service, employees are always happy and ready to help. Sometimes the wait could be a little long because they have a lot of people but, they usually take your info and you can go take a stroll at the mall and when they are done they call or text you right away. What I love the most is that they actually help and give honest opinions. I have been to lots of places but so far this is our favorite store to shop for for evening gown. The quince dresses are all very beautiful and have the most variety, you don’t know what to get because there’s sooooo many. I super recommend this store 💁🏼‍♀️

Because of Covid store has special hours. Yet during those hours store is not even open. I’m traveling from far and I had to make 2 trips for nothing!

The Store is Amazing and as soon as you walk in you immediately are Welcomed by very helpful staff who are just extremely nice and helpful!! The Dresses are beautiful its so hard to choose from all the amazing options! I really recommend you go to La Popular to see the amazing gowns for Quinces, Sweet 16, Weddings, and so much more!! I promise you will not be disappointed in what you see and you will be helped by loving staff members!❤❤❤

DO NOT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THIS PLACE! Dresses are nice in the catalog but once they come in they are 2 sizes to big and they tell you they have a seamstress to help fix the dresses, but they dont tell you she over charges you for something your 2 year old can do better. Management is horrible and every single employee is rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

My experience was AMAZING!! I would definitely go back in the future💘 I got dresses there for the girls in my quince court there and they were amazing they got me the dresses I wanted and they all fit perfectly!! They got the exact color I wanted❤️ The staff was very professional and very helpful!!😁😁 My experience overall was just GREAT!!💛💛 Ik for sure that my special day is gonna be AMAZING thanks to all their help with the dresses for my court!!❤️❤️❤️

Really great service and very friendly people! They are prompt on time and NEVER hesitate to ask if you need assistance! They greet and ask if you need help upon walking in! They have a great variety of dresses and HIGHLY recommned this place to anyone!!

They have amazing dresses yes but they’re mostly for slim girls .. was trying to find a prom dress in april but every dress i tried on would not fit and when i asked if they had any other dresses in my size , they were rude and said no .. won’t ever be going there UNLESS they have bigger sizes for us thick girls

Very unprofessional service people and no one from the management to the seamstress take any responsibility for their mistakes. Unfortunately we had to buy a dress there for a quinceanera but they ordered left over sizes from the manufacturer and wanted us to pay for a dress 3 sizes too big. The worst part is that they did that to all the girls in the court to avoid a cancellation of the order. And apparently its common practice because there were 3 other random people with the same issue. THEY WILL RUIN YOU EVENT AND WILL NOT FIX THE ISSUE OR TAKE RESPONSIBILITY .

Worst experience ever for such a big event. They recommended ordering dresses 1 size too big bc they said sizes run small from manufacturer and the were actually way to big for the girls. ALL their dresses were way too big. And still charge for alterations. Its unfortunate they offer u free earings if u write a review on FB at the very beginning when u first choose your dress so of course they have a 5-star rating. But once the dresses come in theyre a disaster. My nieces 2nd dress needed alterations and the seamstress cut straight thru the dress while my niece had it on and came out crooked and we wanted it fixed, when my sister complained the seamstress got mad, were very rude. The girls that worked there were just standing around making faces and mocking my sister. SO UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. They are nice when u first walk in but nice the dresses come in they do not take responsibility when they ruin the dresses.

Horrible service! Had an appointment to pick up everything 6months later from when we ordered the quince package, we live 4 hours away but on the phone they said they had everything ready and they were going to do alterations when we get there too. We showed up and nothing was ready! The lady that does the alterations wasn’t here, they said she’s onl here tuesdays and Thursday’s and the package I wanted wasn’t ready, so they tried selling me someone else’s package!!! We tried to get another but they said you can if you pay $175 more !!! I couldn’t return anything as well! Rude staff! Main manager wasn’t here but she talked to me over the phone and she was rude! Horrible service!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! WORST PLACE EVER!

The gowns were beautiful. The staff ignored me and my family. They failed to acknowledge that we were in the store for 25min. I got lost in the beautiful gowns and it helped offset the staffs rude behavior.

Beautiful gown and jewelry. Got everything I needed for a military ball under $200. I came in late on a weeknight and the employee was helping a family choose a quincenera dress. I asked to try some dresses on and he opened up a dressing room for me and let me do my thing, which was perfect for me. Theres not a *huge* selection, but the dresses are beautiful, and I just happened to find the perfect one for me. There were also a good amount of dresses in bigger sizes, which is hard to find. And OMG the jewelry! $9 for gorgeous dangly emerald green earrings that matched my dress. This will be my first stop if I get to dress up for anything again

Business owners clearly don’t care about their customers. You will never have your complete quinceañera package because they show other customers everyone else’s package and are willing to sell YOUR custom package to someone else if they want it. That’s exactly what happened to me. I got a call from this place informing me that the package was ready for pickup (dress, petticoat, cups, knives envelope box, guest book and pen). I scheduled an appointment to pick it up as my work schedule is difficult to work around with. When I went in for my appointment they only had the dress and petticoat. They didn’t have anything else because they had sold it to someone else that wanted it. I was very upset because they had told me everything was ready. They ended up giving me someone else’s package which didn’t really fit with the quinceañera theme but it was the only option they gave me. It’s a repeated cycle. Now that other girl who’s package they gave me won’t have the theme/ colors she had specifically chosen. You will not get what you’re promised. Please don’t have your quinceañera ruined by coming here. Let my mistake of coming here be a lesson for everyone else

This is the worst place! I wouldnt recommend it to anyone! They never know whats going on, no one takes accountability, and management is horrible. First it was that the dresses for our event were discontinued and we had to choose new ones (all within the month of the event), now we choose a dress a few dollars cheaper and now they dont want to refund my $30!! Reporting them to the BBB. This is ridiculous!

The service is excellent, if the dress does not fit you they offer to modify it and it is perfect. I liked a dress that we had to order, it arrived super on time, the dress was better in person than in the photo. The staff from the moment you enter treats you super well, the prices are excellent, I highly recommend it!
