Employee by the name of Carlos was extremely rude to another employee, Luis in front of a store full of people.First, Luis was punctual, showed up on time, and opened the store for the 11 customers who were waiting outside, and he started taking care of customers immediately. Carlos showed up late, deshovled and in a bad mood.Luis had been doing a remarkable job on his own, taking care & balancing of the 11 customers who showed up initially, and all the other customers who were still coming in to turn in their rentals.Carlos comes in (late) and immediately starts barking orders in a rude manner to Luis. Luis had given a suit to a customer to try on in the fitting room, and while the customer was in the fitting room, Luis moved onto taking the measurement of another customer as to not waste time. While he was almost done taking the measurements of the 2nd customer, the gentleman came out of the fitting room and was super understanding that Luis was almost done taking measurements of the other gentleman. At this point, Carlos says, in a really loud and rude tone, Well Hurry up man! I see this guy just standing here and youre not taking care of him! Finish up with him first! This immediately made everyone in the store feel uncomfortable and quiet. The gentleman that had just come out of the fitting room looked over at his mom, and his mom shook her head no. As in disapproval of this. Luis did not respond because he understood how uncomfortable everyone already was, and he just continued with business in a respectful manner. Immediately after this, I turned to Carlos & said, Sir, what is your name? & He said Carlos. I said, Okay. Thank you. And walked out. As I was walking out, he probably assumed I asked for his name because I was going to call his manager because he mumbled, Mmmm quela! And then turned to Luis as if saying You see what you did?!.... so unprofessional. ☹ really nice suits but very unprofessional.Im assuming if Luis would have waited for the 1st gentleman to finish trying on his suit in the fitting room, Carlos would have had something to say about him standing around as well. He just seemed like he was miserable.Hope this reaches the right person and Carlos is talked to about his attitude.Luis was running the show just fine before Carlos walked in.

Very bad customer service, they told me to sign in and on a blank sheet of paper, then they skipped me and helped 10 other customers who came in after me. In total its been over an hour here waiting and I still havent been fitted. I do not recommend this place at all. I would honestly give them 0 stars but that is not an option.

I had been going here since a kid and will furthermore for future references just go somewhere else.Honestly make sure you’re explained the contract your signing. As after covid-19 if you had payed in full or even reserved a tux you wouldn’t receive the full amount back. They don’t advertise that at all. Biggest shamMost of my friends received the entire amount. Because according to them “I canceled”When even if I wanted the tux they were shut down on May 13th as per texas governor. The owner tried to explain why I i was only given back so much but if it’s not written on the papers your signing that a ____ amount will be kept. Then isn’t that just technically fraud? As they could keep any amount for a “down payment” as No refunds on down payment is pretty vague and can be any amount.

I shopped around town for my daughters quince and the last place we stop was the Elegant Penguin. The gentleman that helped us...was very helpful compared to other tuxedo stores we shopped. Excellent customer service and great quality tuxedos. I highly recommended!

It is a great place. They did mess up the first time but I think they were assuming we were not part of the family. The quince had two colors. Family and others/ friends. They were fast on exchanging it to the correct color which was fantastic.

This place was very generous in giving my husband and two boys a rented tuxedo free of charge, for my sister in-law’s funeral who was a victim in the Walmart shooting. Thank you so much!

Elegant Penguin claims to be the best in El Paso, but there are far better tuxedo rentals for much better prices. Louie Lara probably has the worst customer service skills of anybody Ive ever met. He walks around his place with an inflated sense of arrogance and talks down to customers and his own employees. Sorry, but I will not do business here again!

The worest customer service ever. The owner is very rude. Since the boys told him they didn’t want the tux because he was being really rude he told them if they wanted women’s close to go somewhere else after I walked out. Wanted to give them what he wanted not what they wanted it was horrible. I would never recommend this place to no one. Went to the tuxedo emporium and it was a totally different story great service gave the boys what they wanted atmosphere was great. I will never do business with the elegant penguine horrible experience.

El Pasos best tuxedo rental store. They had a huge selection and also provided same day service for alteration and pickup.

Small. Seems like their tracking system is out of date... Just writing names on a notebook... Ok? Could have been more attentive and provided different ways to options we had during rental. Seemed like they just wanted to get Ur deposit, size and attend to next customer.

Their tuxedo rentals are affordable and nice. I have rented tuxedos for my wedding and when my son was in a quinceanera. I would recommend this place to my family and friends. I feel they have fast and friendly customer service which is a nice change of pace from most of the other tuxedo rental places in El Paso that I have visited.

Bad service, they are slow, they are going to have their drinks measured twice before the event and the day that they are going to pick up the suit still does not fit ... 🤬🤬 So they can measure and test and test. Bad organization. NOT RECOMMENDED

The suit that became too old, had starchy patches looked so bad in the black suit. The old shirt and too percudida. We had to make last minute arrangements, very small the place you have no privacy to be measured.
