Little gem of a bike place on Alameda Cady Corner to the Bronco. Clean place with good service. Organized too. Prices were very reasonable, almost cheap. Great variety of services.

Took my daughters bike in to change the chain ring. I was told it would take a week and would get a call which I thought was fine since we were in no hurry. After a month of waiting, with no phone calls or answered calls, I decided to stop by to see what had happened. First thing I noticed was my daughter’s bike was sitting on a rack and absolutely nothing had been done to it. No apology was given and Gerry said he would take it to the back and have it ready in about 3 hours but he asked me to call in before heading out there. I decided to wait and give them the rest of the day. I called three times before heading over there but no response. I headed over there near closing time the next day. When I arrived I was told that they were currently working on my bike and they would have it out shortly. I had to wait over an hour for it to finally be ready. I am pretty patient but when a business has no type of communication and does not acknowledge their mistakes I feel it’s important to let other customers know. It really wasn’t the length of time that it took but this shop needs to be better managed in order to meet their commitments. Furthermore, an apology would have gone a long way and really wouldn’t have taken much.

The worst service. I tried three times for basic service and eight days later my bike was still not serviced. I didnt need anything special so I figured Id support local business as I prefer and wait. I dont like to be lied to. Just say you cant do the job in time and there wouldnt be a problem. But to be told three different times it will be ready and they barley touched my bike. Horrible service not even worth one star.

Very very very pleased with service, went above and beyond repairing my granddaughter’s bicycle. Adjusted loose bolts, oiled chain without even having to ask for it done. They really know what they’re doing. Even though they have a ton of work they still stride to complete the task within a minimal amount of time.

Went In on a Tuesday to have it worked on. Waited over an hour and a half to be told my front derailleur broken and needed to be replaced. Was told would get parts the following day and be ready on Thursday. Called and female assistant said would be until the following Thursday. Asked to speak to Gerry who made the arrangements and said would call me back after checking to see if he had the replacement part. Did not call back. Called again the following day said would check on part again and bike should be ready on Monday morning. Thursday next week called again now was told wouldnt be ready til almost a month. Really bad communication and was being lied to constantly. Will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

I was very happy with the way they handled my brake problem recently. I felt they were knowledgeable and were not trying to rip me off. The brakes now are great. I will remember them and come here whenever I need a part or an accessory. I would like to continue to give them more business.

Very unprofessional. Call me old fashion but morals and values will never get old and should be the foundation and the forefront of an establishment. Love the service very nice guy.told him what i needed then took my adult tricycle to the shop when He saw my adult tricycle as i went inside and told me what else was wrong with it and told me he would fix it with everything else. My adult tricycle came out amazing like if it never had problems. Everything that was done all for a good price. Totally going back if my adult tricycle needs anything fixed.

Brought my bike to them to have a flat fixed but it wasnt fixed. Called to see if I could get it resolved and they wanted to charge me an additional $65 for a new tire after it was supposed to be fixed. It isnt the cost of a new tire but the fact that things should have been done right the first time. This makes me question the quality of work performed and deeply hurt my confidence in thier services.

The two guys I was greeted with were super helpful and had the exact parts I wanted at amazing prices. Incredibly friendly and knowledgable as well!

During the covid 19 outbreak it is near impossible to find a bike, expeccially an actual purpose built mountain bike. I drove by this shop and thought what the hell? And stopped in. A couple people in there didnt speak any english but 1 did and I started talking to him about mountain biking and hitting old school features back in the day, i told him how id been off bikes for years but just want to get back on but cant find a bike anywhere. He actually called another shop, picked it up and brought it to his shop. It was an older kona stinky (a complete legend) that had been rebuilt and upgraded from the frame up. Now, the the bike ended up being unsafe, but i dont blame this shop, because the place he got it from told him it was just serviced and the fork had just been rebuilt. the duel crown fork it has on the front was missing the bottom clamps and is just being held on by tension and it started leaking oil the first drop i took.it also had zero bearings in the rear hub. Which is ok because he told me i can bring it in for a tune up on the house if anything went wrong. Id recommend this shop, it was my fault for being to excited and not thoroughly checking everhthing nor letting them have the time to run through it. The bike by the way is amazing and one of the funnest bikes iv ever riden. I just need to get a new fork and some bearings..

07/03/20 I went looking for thru axle to qr adapters for my new tubeless ready wheels set for my Marlin 6. I stopped at Trek after waiting about half-an-hour in line (its a common thing now a days) and another half-an-hour with the techs just so that the young tech could be tell me that it’s couldn’t be done. According to the tech QR to Thru-axles can but not Thru axle to QR. I knew better than to stop there but I did it any way because the new location is a rock throw away from my house.I went back home disappointed with my new TLR wheels set that I purchased online. After scouring the internet I found that such a conversion does exist.I went with my gut feeling and drove 20mins to THE BIKE STATION and guess what? The owner of the place had what I WAS LOOKING FOR and had me on my way out the door in less than 20min (I also had him change my cassette to my new wheel set).I would’ve avoided all that BS the TREK tech guy gave me had I followed my intuition in driving to THE BIKE STATION in the first place.Did I mention he didn’t charge me to remove and added my cassette to my new wheel set? Well he didn’t...small things like that is the reason I stop by the great lil place!!!

My bike works very well. The gears are silky smooth. No bikeshop in the city has left my bike running this smoothly. Only complaint is i was told my bike would be ready on Friday wasnt ready until Tuesday. But bike runs well so I wont hurt rating. Need to have used bikes ready to sell.

Worst service ever, a simple flat repair lasts 5 days, and in the end, the bike was not ready, it has another problem that was not even part of the flat repair... disappointment. Nothing good...

This place is always closed i was there this morning 8/10 and a UPS driver had a delivery and he told me he had numerous deliveries here but its always closed and they dont answer the Phone.

I have had my bike repaired on three occasions at The Bike Station Store. I was very satisfied with bike repair and quality of products used. The only issue I would mention is their time management. If you are a virgo as I am you will need to take a step back. You will have to ask yourself, am I willing to not let this issue bother you enough to not make you go back? My decision to continue my patronage of this business is based on their excellent work. Call ahead of time, if they answer and you are able to go at that moment. Go! You will have spent your money on an excellent repair job.

We found a kids bike seat for $13, its artsy not plain. We also ordered small pedals. This place is a hidden gem for bicyclists.

Took my bike on Friday morning for a tune up. And he left it in great condition. He even pointed out a faulty headset, which he replaced. He even threw in the brake lines housing. MUST GO SHOP IF U LIVE IN THE VALLEY or EAST. Better prices than Atom Cycles.

I took my wheel to get some work done leave it there for a few days, nothing was done on it, the clerk just gave me the runarounds, I went to get my tire, bought the parts somewhere else and fix it myself in less than an hour. Very irresponsible people. Never going back.

This place sucks. I checked the reviews before I left and I figured as bad as some might sound, lets check it out. Their right though, this places isnt open when it says its supposed to be open. I sat outside waiting for like 25 minus after they where supposed to be open and nobody showed up to open. Dont know about their service cause apperantly I wasnt helped. Just go somewhere else

Unable to get service. Door was still locked more than 30 minutes after posted opening time. No answer from phone number listed on website or from the number posted to their door - neither phone number gave prerecorded infor or had a way to leave a message. Ended up going to Trek cycles off Joe Battle to get my kids bike fixed.

I come from Northeast because they recommended it to me, the schedule today says from 10 am to 6 pm there is no one has a sign that says come back in an hour but 1 hour from what time ??? The phones are never answered, Still here I will wait outside bearing the intense sun that does not miss the return like about 8 other customers who have come and some have been disappointed .... My comment and my score may change depending on the service they give me when they arrive ... Stay tunedOK AFTER WAITING MORE THAN 1:30 HRS NOBODY COME, I GIVE YOU ONLY ONE STAR BECAUSE I DIDNT EVEN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HOW THEY WORK FIRST AND LAST TIME I COME AND DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE!
