Awesome to see the Spazmatics again after far too long. Love the vaccination policy! Staff was shaving and attentive. They used to have too many security staffers, whereas now there are maybe too few, but hopefully that will increase when the season picks back up again.

A very small venue that gives a great vibe. There is a small standing section and seating all on the upper level. Anywhere in this venue is a great seat. The waitresses come and get your drink orders so you will not lose your standing place. The sound was amazing in the special little venue. The venue gives a up close and personal vibe.
This is probably my favorite venue of all time.It’s such a small intimate venture with acts that sell out red rocks. Everything is perfect, the sound, the ambiance, the staff.I always keep an eye on my email for anyone playing at this spot. I highly recommend it.If you have the chance, even if it’s not someone you love, go. You won’t regret it!

Tiny venue! Friendly staff, pretty standard beverages (its Colorado, there should be more legit beer options!) Definitely the spot to see your favorite artist perform if you want to be up close. Traveled from Denver to get the intimate vibe. Aspen is...different, but the venue is cool! Makes sense though, according to Harry, the French are jerks.
Attend any concert or show at The Belly Up and you will have a blast. See one of your favorite artists here (like I did) and it will be one of your favorite concerts of all time. I saw Chris Cornell here and a short time later, he passed away. Not only am I glad I got to see him, but I got to see him in a venue in which I was standing 5 feet from him. I will never forget the amazing experience. The Belly Up is large enough to have good energy, but small enough to have intimacy. Bus service is offered all the way to and from Glenwood Springs, so you can enjoy yourself without the hassle of driving home or to your hotel. Arrive a little early and enjoy some great bar and grill food before your show.

The Belly Up is such a fantastic music venue. You have to love a place where you can lock down some seats and a table, get a waitress for all your drink needs and be at MAX 100 feet from your favorite artists. Also, just walking around this place is like perusing your own personal museum of sick live music photography! All of the staff from bouncers to coat check to bartenders are always super friendly and help with anything you’d like.
We saw illenium here. Such a great and intimate venue to see an artist at. Very close to the stage no matter where you are seated. The wait staff was very tentative and cordial to all guests, even the ones that didnt deserve it. Bottle service was super expensive, $375 for a bottle of grey goose. That is some crazy up pricing. Other drinks were reasonably priced. Ciders were $6 and other beers were equal to or just few dollars more.
Food was super flavorful. The staff was very friendly and kind. This place has a good atmosphere. This place has positive reviews for a reason.
My absolute favorite venue in Colorado, hands down. There’s something about great music in this tiny place that keeps me coming back year after year. Almost all of the staff I’ve encountered have been friendly and responsive. The dance floor is lively and the open/reserved seating is a great way to relax a bit and still feel like you’re right there with the artist.
Such a super cool place and venue for great music. Considering the crowd for Gary Clark Jr., Im blown away how the server took such great care of us on the floor below the stage. Looking forward to my next visit to Belly Up!

One of the best music venues in the country, small and intimate, clean with great sound. The best part is the amount of 5 star talent they book. You can go see a show here 3-4 times a week, talented musicians from all genres of music. When I lived in Aspen I would go see shows here without ever knowing the artist, just trusting the booking agent that they would bring some good music. Highly recommend!
Great place to watch the Bears win on Monday Night football! Super big screen and nice audio. Food and service were good.
Terribly managed venue. Purchased tickets for a trip I was taking with friends. Venue cancelled the tickets the day before without explanation. We were super excited to see one of our favorite bands and our trip was partially planned around it. When we called to inquire the staff could not have cared less.
Perfect venue. Loved everything about it except the overzealous security guy fighting his way through a packed, dancing crowd just to remove a cup off the stage edge. Little over the top...Either way, Ill be back next new years.
Honestly pretty dang fantastic. The security was awesome. Great team of people. Very friendly, not over bearing or ego maniacs like you get in Denver venues.The only reason Im dropping a star is because there is virtually no air ventilation in there. So it was extremely hot during the show.
Belly Up is a place that is worth the trip to see your favorite bands. The venue is small, has tiered levels to hang, have a drink, and sit and watch; or a great floor with friendly locals that make it SO easy to get right up front. Theres also usually plenty of room to daaaance as well. They do a great job of not overselling shows to keep them intimate and fun.
Intimate venue with amazing big names and up and coming talent openers. I dont waste my time or money going to shows at big arenas anymore.
Best small concert venue Ive ever been to and Ive been to alot. Up close and intimate with the artists. Really good sound mixing (usually). Great artists and happy atmosphere. Staff is efficient with good service. Tickets are often expensive but you get what you pay for.
Date night with my husband in Aspen watching an amazing Trombone player! What a great Venue to perform. Good food.
If youve never seen a show at Belly Up get off your rear and check this place out! Not a bad spot in this building. Sounds great in there and you get areal intimate feel with the artist

Great venue with 2 bars, excellent acoustics and good name bands. I saw Papadosio there and it was a well balanced crowd, good drinks, dancing and great visuals. There was also water for free, which we can all appreciate.
This place is a bucket-list destination. The most intimate concert setting Ive ever been to. Hardly a bad seat in the entire place, and the sound is excellent. Very friendly service, too!
Great venue in the heart of Aspen to enjoy affordable live music. Drink prices are a little steep but similar to the rest of downtown Aspen.Lots of room to dance in front of the stage or to snag a seat at a table overlooking where the artists perform. Highly reccomend seeing a show here, I know I am going back!

I love the Belly Up! I am never disappointed! I like to stand right up front during the entire concert. I love being up close to the musicians I admire so much. The last time we were there, we saw Gregg Allman. Ive seen Big Head Todd and Neil Young at the Belly Up. This Saturday, we are seeing Warren Haynes. I go to the Belly Up for the music and the intimate venue.

Such a small and intimate venue I highly recommend it to anybody thats visiting Colorado or Aspen especially if it band that you like is going to be playing there. I saw Umphreys McGee and it was awesome. Ive also seen some local music played there when I was just visiting a friend. There are some pretty nice restaurants nearby too if you want to grab a drink before the show

One of the best indoor music venues ever! Lots of big name acts for a small town. Ive been to 30 plus shows there and cant really think of anything bad to say.

Saw Tribal Seeds, The Original Wailers, and The Expanders here. Awesome concert and a cool venue. Servers kept bringing beer for the extent of the concert. Smaller place but I managed to get a last minute door ticket even though they had booked out. Great venue.

I love Belly Up! I got to go here during the X Games and had a ton of fun. It was packed with people for a private party and the atmosphere was awesome. I had a total blast and definitely recommend it to anyone visiting this beautiful little city :)
One of the finest venues Ive stepped foot in. Staff really give the impression they genuinely are there to facilitate your having a good time. Sound is impeccable. LED screens are a very nice touch as well.

Expensive, but worth it. This small venue gets big acts, which is why ticket prices are so high. The environment and intimacy of the venue is incredible. If you ever see a favorite band play here, I highly recommend paying the ticket price.

Terrible venue, cancelled my tickets 1 day before the concert with no explanation, planned our whole trip around going to a concert and they cancelled my tickets and gave no explanation. Completely fraudulent operation. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Great show Saturday night with theivery. Concerts at the belly up don’t disapppint. Small venue for intimate shows with bigger acts that want to play the historic venue.

Great concert and performance venue. Outstanding layout that lets you either sit back and enjoy the show from away or get up close and personal in front of the stage. Lots of great performers, big and small, coming through all the time and a lot of events in between makes this a locals and tourist fan favorite.Theres always people in, and most of the time its busy enough to have a great atmosphere. The place is quite small so it can get crowded, especially for more popular acts. Drinks are alright, but just enough. The drinks are alright, though maybe a bit on the pricey side.
