Reasonable prices and a lovely selection of yarn. The owners are very kind women who are fun to talk to and their passion for their business radiates off them. They also have petite classes once a month that are a lot of fun and have really helped me learn new knitting concepts. For those that like shawls, they also have shawl classes once a month as a recurring group activity. Very happy with this shop.

What a lovely yarn shop! Im so glad I stopped in. They have a wonderful variety, very well laid out. It was very clear where everything could be found and it was organized well. Very friendly and helpful staff who were very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about fiber arts. Im looking forward to come back in the future and to take part in their knit and crochet a longs!

A very comprehensive and happy shop! Owner Nona Davenport is so knowledgeable! Teacher, designer, and all around Good Person. Her staff is equally kind and thorough. Her stock is wide, and you should be quite able to get what you need here.

Great shop! I cant wait until the pandemic is over to get to walk around this beautiful shop. Having said that, the staff was extremely friendly, took all pandemic precautions, and very knowledgeable. Will definitely be back!

I wish I could give this place 7 stars. The yarn selection is impressive, well-rounded in budget and style of yarn. A bit outside from the classic inventory that the area usually offers. All Wound Up offers US and international indie dyed, as well as the local staples. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, it was such a treat to meet them! To say that I loved this place is an understatement, I will be back.

My fave yarn shop in the greater Seattle area- consistently friendly, helpful, and inviting- a good community space to be honest! There’s a little sitting area and I always end up chatting up other knitters. If you are color-obsessed, this place has veeerryyyyy good color selection... Emerald greens, deep Golden’s, cobalt blues!! Also- I’ve struggled with perceived judgement in some other places (not just here- all over!), and I feel like this place is INCREDIBLY non-judgemental. Yarns well picked to offer good variety at quite good prices! They also are very good at ensuring you have what you need to finish a project, ordered more so I could finish a sweater! Basically- I love this place. :)

Best yarn shop in the area! I love going in and seeing the new stock of squishy yummy yarns available. The owner and her daughter (and all the other staff) are terrific people and super knowledgeable too! They always make me feel welcome, even though I cant be a regular.

Im new to knitting, but have crocheted for quite some time. I have visited numerous yarn shops in the area as my obsession with learning to knit has spiraled out of control. While each of the stores carry their own charm and great selections, All Wound Up felt like home the moment I walked in. The staff is tremendously funny and kind. Explaining my new stance in the knitting world, I received only encouragement and recommendation without the feeling of being pushed towards a sale or like I was incompetent (which has happened at a different store that I shall not name). Something I thought incredibly neat was their social knitting schedule, of which I am definitely going to attend as the shop is only a few minutes from home. The story behind the reason they opened the store is profoundly endearing. The desire to create community and opportunity is what drives them, and I am so grateful for their heart and charisma. Everyone should give them a visit. Youll see what I mean. ;)

The friendliness this shop offers is exceptional. I love their yarn selection and all of the samples knit by Mom and Daughter team owners. Just wish I lived closer, but better for my budget I dont!

I was in town from UT and my sister took me to this shop. I was immediately drawn in to its coziness. One of the things I liked best was there were samples made up over the yarns so you could see and feel how the yarn worked up. Staff was inviting and knowledgeable. Too bad it so far away or be there more often.

At first I was very pleased with this yarn shop. Its in my neighborhood and the staff is generally pleasant and eager to assist. However, their return policy or rather their exchange policy is very restrictive. I took a skein of yarn in to exchange yesterday and was told no because it was light. I was accused of trying to return a skein I had partially used. When I insisted that they had sold me the light skein, they refused to take it back because they would have to throw it in the trash. So, if I get this right, they can sell a light skein with no problem but I cant return it. How is that my fault?I will not be back.

Beautiful yarns, good location with plenty of parking. The staff is very approachable and doesnt just cater to their every day customers, which is a nice change of pace from other yarn shops my GF and I have visited. We like to hit as many different yarn stores as possible and go on yarn tours, and this place is a keeper.

Prices are what I would pay if I drove to any of the other yarn store in nearby cities so I can save the gas money and buy more yarn!
