Came here early on a Sunday and got a Lemon Glazed Old Fashioned and an Apple Fritter and was disappointed. The two tasted a bit old and dry. I love donuts and the flavors were there so, it was still ok, but I wouldn’t come back. Maybe this shop’s recipe isn’t for me. Nice shop and selection though.

Paid this place a nice visit on 14 June 2021. Really clean, rad establishment with good coffee and the best Bavarian doughnut Ive ever had. So, so delicious and the prices are fair considering the quality too!

Great quick spot to grab a morning donut waiting for the ferry, train or just on an Edmonds walk. Top Pot made our Valentine’s Day special this year! Really yummy cake donuts and the maple bar is out of this world.

Came here real quick as I waited for the ferry for some donuts and a coffee and I left with an old fashioned donut, a classic glazed donut, and a fritter with my coffee. Do I have any guilt for eating 3 donuts you ask? ABSOLUTELY NOT because they were delicious! Guilt is what you have when something isnt worth it, but this place is totally worth it. Will I do it again? You bet! But not soon because thats a whole lot of sugar and carbs. This place doesnt disappoint.

If youre at Edmonds Ferry or surrounding beach and its a cold breezy day, drop by Top Pot to get donuts and coffee. You can stay and hang around, plenty of tables as well as books (read like you are seriously nerding out your coffee and donut break 😁) for customers.Or you can take it to go, plop down on the sand, drink your latte and munch your donut while you observe the ferry dock-in or head out towards Kingston.

Next to Edmonds ferry dock. Really good doughnuts. Closes early though so we stop on our way off the ferry before we head out for the day in the city.

New, modern space with a cosy interior. Seating upstairs and downstairs. The doughnuts are fresh and tasty as are the other food items on offer. Coffee is great and a perfect complement to the doughnuts. Staff do their job but not friendly or cheerful.

Top Pot did not live up to its reputation. The donuts tasted as though they were a couple of days old. The staff were efficient at their jobs.

I went to Top Pot Doughnuts and I was not at all impressed. The doughnut was blah. However, I stopped at this location in Edmonds since we were waiting to catch the ferry. I dont know who made the doughnuts on this location, but they were amazing. I loved the glazed doughnut. It wasnt too doughy and they lathered on a good amount of glaze, the way it should be.

The menu online is completely inaccurate. The customer service was so bad.

Good donuts ,just pricey. I have no complaints about the quality of food, its great! I come from an area of the country where donuts cost .50 cents not 2.50. They are great, just over priced in my personal opinion.

Doughnuts are what you’d expect from a doughnut. Nothing more/nothing less. The coffee is probably the worst I’ve ever had. My kid’s “hot cocoa” and my mocha were just steamed milk in a cup. The difference being mine had a shot of espresso. Even the drip coffee is not worth dumping out. “Fool me once” I guess.If you’re stuck in ferry traffic and need coffee, take a nap instead. If you want a doughnut, go to top pot.

Absolutely outraged by the extremely rude service To the customers in front of me and he continued the rude service to me. I will never buy top pot doughnuts again due how rude and attacking his body language and stance was. Absolutely no excuse for the aggressively rude man at the Edmunds, Washington store.I own 2 businesses and if I caught wind of one of my employees behaving this way they would be sent home. I have many employees and we have enjoyed top pot doughnuts for meetings and special occasions for many many years. Until now I will never purchase doughnuts from top pot doughnuts again. You do not deserve my money and support.Management should never allow this aggressive and absurd service.

Doughnuts are decent, service is lacking. We have been there 4 times using the drive thru. Each time NO ONE else in line. First time, no problems. Second time, sat and waited. No help, finally someone coming out of the front door saw us, went back in and told someone. Third time, short wait finally someone saw us and came to the window. Fourth time, no one came to the window. After waiting for several minutes we left.

This place is great! Very clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I love that they have outdoor seating and even an upper outdoor deck that looks out at the Puget Sound and ferry. I will definitely be back.

If youre waiting for the ferry and youre hungry and want a donut this is the place to go. I live in downtown and have been to Top Pot 5 times over a period of 4 months. The donuts very good but in afternoon tend to be on the dryer side . Ive had coffee everytime, good but needs to be hotter. Heres my Big complaint....the girls that work there have been cold(no cheerfulness(stone faces), hi, how are you or what can I get for you etc) too bad, Top Pot would do better to hire personable servers who seem to like what they are doing and are good representatives of the business. Even one time at the drive up, the girl acted like she was going way out of her way to even come to the window. A smile, a pleasant attitude, eager makes a BIG difference, otherwise can make a donut and coffee be like eating gravel with the frozen atmosphere.

Been there several times, but NEVER again... Only 1 type of doughnut on hand at 2pm? Isnt that what they do? Okay. Typically, very lazy and slowwwww service, but this last time I sat at the window for several minutes with no service at all; but I could hear the guy chatting inside (likely on his phone). Place was completely empty (no surprise there) with nobody in line. Knocked on the window and nothing. Owner needs to clean house.

Great place to grab a donut and a coffee while waiting for the ferry to start loading. Just make sure you have enough time to make your purchase so you dont miss your ferry. I came in on a Sunday morning one of the ferries was cancelled so I had to wait an hour for the next boat so I came here, there was probably 20 plus people in line but they got through all the orders fast and I only had to wait 15 min. The donut was fresh and delicious and so was the coffee. This store is a most welcome addition to the edmonds ferry terminal waiting area as there is not many options for coffee and snacks nearby.

I get Top Pot donuts from the grocery store all the time. This is the first time Ive been to the actual shop.The donuts were the same as what I get from the store, but I expected them to at least be warm or fresh. They were all COLD, not like youre expect a fresh donut to be, and the coffee was very watery. Overall not impressed, Ill keep going to Fred Meyer for my donuts.

Ok..one stars because we they had water and an orange juice and bathroom,since I cant post ZERO STARS...Ive been told to always try things Twice before you judge it..so here it goes..these are my opinions and mine only so relax my wife and I got there at opening a few months back and the donuts where no way fresh..I dont care what anyone says they where not fresh...then we go to beach today Sunday its sunny I get it..everywhere is busy...ok...you are a donut shop...well...I would have a picture but there was none..1:30 pm...and the answer i got .. it was a long day! Well make it longer make some more or pick up the phone and call your bakery and have some delivered...but now I know after two times..🍩 my bad found a donut...

Raw Donut. I bought my son an apple fritter and it was doughy and completely raw inside. I called the store to let them know. I wasnt offered a replacement or even an apology. I left my information. That was three weeks and I never heard back. Terrible product and customer service.

Delicious doughnuts! Every top pot o have been to is always very clean! There is an upper level with some books to read if you would like and gives a nice view. Great place to get a bite before getting on the ferry to Kingston. The bathrooms are unisex and are very clean. There are some decor on the walls of top pot stuff. Staff is kind and understanding of you need a min yo decide on what doughnuts you are getting.

Its a doughnut shop. its nothing really special.once you have a good doughnut, youll return.I dont generally though unless Im craving.The environment is clean, although feels kinda like a fast food joint (McDonalds or Burger King, etc.) a little blah.The stair case is right in the middle of the room, which breaks up the view (not ideal architecture).Outside in the back (up stairs - no elevator) is an uncovered deck. It feels more like a break area for the staff and faces the train (LOUD).For what it is, Ill return for a quick sweet treat, just not stay for any length.

Grocery store quality donut at a storefront price. Ate an underdone, stale, apple fritter. Washed my hands in a restroom that wouldnt be out of place in a Detroit bus terminal.

I’ll start by saying I love top pot donuts. But the Edmonds location staff is the reason for the one star. Two people behind the counter, the only person in front of me was the person being waited on. 12 minutes later I still had not been waited on and had to leave without donuts to catch the ferry. Train the staff or I am afraid this location will fail, which would be sad.

I like Top Pot donuts but not as much from this location. The donuts look and taste day old...at least through the drive through and the drive through staff often seems put out that they have to work the window.

What seems like a convenient stop before the ferry is really just a waste of time and money. On my initial visit to this Top Pot I ordered a hand pie and an Americano. My Americano tasted like water. Not because it was an Americano (as opposed to a richer drink) and not because they make weak Americanos...but because something must have been wrong with their machine, and they werent observant enough to notice that my drink was lighter than most teas. I left before tasting, because we were getting on the ferry. I emailed to say I had recieved a drink that was made incorrectly, I got a response saying they would email me a free drink coupon. That never happened. Fast forward a few months to today, same rushed ferry scenario. Only now our coffees are not hot, and I mean not hot by a long shot. It is just careless drink making, and for such high drink prices I expect quality drinks.

The doughnuts were pretty good, a decent selection of donuts (maybe 8-12 flavors) . A doughnut is between $2.50-4 but theyre quite large. I got the cold brew there and it was OK. Not the best cold brew but not terrible either. The flavor wasnt as deep as usual for cold brews. The staff didnt seem very friendly and seemed a little annoyed that we took a while to decide what flavors of donuts we wanted even though we werent blocking anyone. I was trying to order a coffee too but she skipped to the next person already right after we ordered our donuts. Ok place for a quick bite, just dont linger on your choices !

Seriously, these are very delicious doughnuts. They beat the pants off of any doughnut that I have found down in San Diego. Krispy Kreme doesnt come close the flavour Top Pot has to offer.

Very terrible customer service (the gal w the nose piercing imparticular who has been mentioned in other comments also)!!! Their menu advertises ice cream cones as follows: chocolate, vanilla, seasonal flavor with choice of cake cone $2.50 or wafflecone $3.50. Apparently they dont have a seasonal flavor, just swirl and they dont have cake cones like at all and totally flipped me attitude for trying to order a cake cone! Like I was an idiot asking for something ridiculous when theyre the idiots who need to update their menu!!! RUDE! Will not be back.

The best. The chocolate frosting actually tastes like chocolate and not just sugar. Apple fritters were filled with apple. Some places dont seem to understand the making of a fritter but Top Pot keeps us happy. Yes to their coffee. Sometimes the staff is too cool to be cheerful but thats ok. Edmonds does have a drive thru now and that is also a good experience to try. The inside is cozy and they have an upstairs balcony too!
