Went there for the first time a few days ago and it wasnt busy at all on a Wednesday night. We had reservations but probably could have done without. The brussel sprouts were amazing!! If anything, that is what will keep me coming back! I had a glass of wine that tasted a bit sour so they opened a new bottle and rectified the situation promptly. I recommend.

You cant go wrong here. Great ambiance, good food, service but can be little pricey.

Theres something special about a restaurateur who cares about live music at his place. 190 Sunset features musicians all year. The shareable bites, drinks, vibe & service are spot-on. It feels like a 5-star resort where they cater to your every whim. The place to be is on that deck with the fire pits, roses, live music & waterfront views. Where else can I get fresh sucked oysters alongside beefy burgers & gochujang prawns?

Posh Adequate would be my rating ,nice plush wine bar with a humding kitchen attached. Good stuff by the platter load.

One of the most creative bars around. I had an old hickory and the knowledgeable bartender told me a few stories about the drinks origins. Happy hour menu includes these delicious prime rib sliders.

We had a really lovely dinner at 190 Sunset for my birthday this week. Our crew sat at the bar on a relatively steady Tuesday night. We ordered drinks from the adorbale Bartender who was super attentive and made some delicious drinks. We had the chicken, scallop rissoto and the short ribs. OMG they were amaaaaazing. The rissoto was the mushroom based and the best Ive ever had. The short ribs were so tender and flavorful and the chicken perfectly done along with the scallops. Overall it was a really wonderful meal and experience. We will definitely be back for another meal in the near future.

2/5/2020. Second visit. Second try at steaks. Again, would not recommend steaks here. We had both the fillet mignon and NY strip steaks. Both had no character, no flavor (despite the abundance of sauce over them), and worst of all, very *wet* on the inside. A good piece of medium rare steak should not be wet and mushy, despite being medium rare.Service was good; cocktail drinks were good. The ahi poke nachos appetizer had too much sauce on it making it very salty. Id recommend this dish but with the sauces on the side.--1st review 2019 - Overall impression: the ribeye and salmon were just ok. Unimpressive. Not something to come back for. French onion soup was decent. Decent service. Drinks have enough alcohol in them. I probably wouldnt be back as better food can be had elsewhere.

This is one of those places I hesitate to leave an excellent review for because it gets just the right amount of traffic for my own personal use and I dont want to wait for a table here ever. Good service, excellent food, cool outdoor seating if its warm and cozy indoor seating if its cold.

I cant get enough of the pork chop! My go-to choice every time! Warm friendly service. Really a feel good place. And for something special you have to try Fried Chicken Sundays! Served homestyle and oh so good! After 4 pm and they will sell out, so dont come late. But you wont be disappointed.

The service is great but the food not so much. Dont get the grilled cheese, or halibut and chips, theyre bland and sad.

This place is awesome! My partner and I love breakfast and its so hard to find a place around here that has a good menu. Its a little pricey but well worth it. The food is clean and presented well. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are always pleasant. I only wish they had breakfast available every morning cause all of our favorite places only serve breakfast on the weekends but it might be better for my wallet. We are thinking of having our reception here as they have a private dinning area for events. They also have very reasonable prices for the rental of the room and/or food prices. All and all I definitely recommend coming here even if its just for a mimosa. Oh and for those of you who are orange juice snobs like us they have perricone fresh squeezed orange juice soo good! ❤

190 Sunset, located steps away from the Edmonds, WA train station, is a joy. Open now for several months, the restaurant remains as busy today as its early days. I can understand why.Good to excellent food served in a fun ambience, with many tables outside for al fresco dining. (When weather is nice the al fresco dining is enticing, similar to being on holiday.) Happy hour offers meal items not on the regular menu (e.g., a yummy plate of nachos).Our most recent visit confirmed our previous visits. We enjoyed (see photos)...* Bacon cheeseburger. Cooked to perfection (and as ordered!) and served on a bun that also is perfect: not too small as to get soggy and not too large as to overwhelm the burger. Steak fries just might be better than the burger!* Spicy Seafood Linguine. Good, but could have been spicier.Early days still but 190 Sunset shows itself to be one of the few restaurants you can return to repeatedly and always be surprised - positively. We will return.EDIT. And return we have. Our most recent visit we enjoyed the Filet Mignon - its bland look on the plate belies its yumminess - and the Seared Ahi Tuna salad. New photos attached.

The food is very mediocre, but the service and the ambiance are great. It was very bice experience sitting on the deck on a summer evening, people watching, drinking wine. We had 3 dishes-mussels, caprese and tuna salads. The sesame seeds on the tuna were a bit moldy and the tuna was absolutely tasteless, like it was improperly defrosted. Other dishes were ok. I guess it is a place to meet friends and have a drink

This place was great, we wanted to sit outside as it was a surprisingly nice day in WA, the sun was really bright at our table and the host gladly cleaned a different one so we could sit. The Fried Brussel sprouts were great and seemed really popular, here is a picture of the Ribeye I ordered, the butter on top was my favorite part. Im looking forward to checking out there happy hour. I gave 4 stars because the host, and bus boys and girls were great and very helpful, because of that it seems we saw more of them then our waitress.

Good spot in suburban Edmonds. Food is trendy upscale, but great location. Good burgers, fries, and also Quinoa Salad. Service was slower than it could have been, but otherwise a great experience.

We had a really great experience. The food was exceptional! 👌🏾 Its such a nice place to have a nice meal and socialize. I love the couches you can move to after eating to continue to socialize with friend . The outdoor is also really nice. I cant wait to come back more often especially during summer.

Sat in bar area and enjoyed excellent martini. Ordered the oven cooked salmon entree. Server suggested medium on the salmon, I usually go with medium rare, but the medium was pink and moist as promised. Finished the meal with a glass of Browne Cab. My dining experience was a 10. Encourage all who read this review to treat yourself to a pleasant dining experience at 190 Sunset. Salute!

Great food and friendly staff. We went for an anniversary dinner and had a great meal. Our server gave us just the right amount of attention and made sure we had a great night. The steaks were perfect and we will be back.

Fun spot to grab happy hour. The happy hour food was really tasty and the drinks were priced really well. There is a large outdoor seating area making it a great spot for summer. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We will be back!

Great food, noise level seemed reduced from prior visits, my only complaint was that one of the waitresses (the owner’s daughter, I was told) carried the dishes out very high and close to her face. I don’t like my food to be “breathed on(?)” by anyone but me. Otherwise, had a great time, great food, will be back.

Had brunch on Sunday. Crab cakes were amazing with eggs Benedict. Also had the brussel Wilson bloody Mary, cant go wrong with bacon. Cozy place with a stylish retro/industrial look. Out door seating with 2 fire pits.

The food is very good with excellent cocktails and service. We tried the prime rib which was excellent. Our friend got the fried chicken which was killer too (we tried a bite). Just be prepared to throw down a little dough for your meal but between everything its a good experience

I assumed the food and selection would be good due to the reviews I read, and they were, but we sat inside due to weather.Next time I go Ill try to sit outside as many reviews praise the outdoor seating.Side note: the bartender could actually make a good old-fashioned so that was refreshing.

Great service, beautiful atmosphere. Food pretty good,Lower rating because of mandatory 20% tip tacked onto the bill with area for added tip.If you feel the need to do that, should make it clear from the get go. I am a good tipper, forced tip was less than I would have tipped.That kind of policy makes sense in states that servers are only paid $3 an hour. Not a state that servers are paid at normal wage rates.

Best food in Edmonds. I have ordered a lot of the menu and it is all good. Specifically the prime rib, burger and french onion soup. The jalepeno margarita is my favorite. Ben is often our server and is fantastic. Happy hour is great, but I eat there whenever the craving hits

Been here 3 times so far! Excellent food- beef, chicken, seafood, salads, bread all good! I highly recommend the patio- much quieter plus gorgeous flowers and sunshine! Plenty of umbrellas and heaters too! Adam was a SUPERB server...others not so much... Ill be back to try more menu items but will always request Adam!

Cold and breezy inside the restaurant. The candle on our table blew out twice. We were seated under the large fireplace so it should have been toasty.Our meal was good and our waiter was fun. Will go back.

First time here today. We went in pretty excited and left fairly disappointed. Our server was very friendly but didnt know the menu well as she was missing a bar ingredient as well as kitchen ingredient, even though they were both on the menu. She got two of our orders wrong and the kitchen scent out one dish way before the other dishes which was inconvenient and odd. The food we did have was good.

Our first time here was for a Birthday. I have to say it was a bit pricey but in the end, well worth it! The cheesecake was probably the best cheesecake cake I have ever had!

If I could give zero stars I would. We were completely neglected while dining here. Our food took 30 minutes to be served and then we never heard from our waiter again. He came through the area several times but never once asked if our food tasted good, if we needed drink refills or acknowledged us at all. The volume in the restaurant was intolerable and we had to virtually yell at each other across the table to be heard. For the price point of the food the atmosphere should be more conducive to having a conversation with ones dinner guests and the service should be top notch. Food was decent but not as good as other higher end restaurants I have been too. Our party was not big enough to be charged the indicated 20% for parties over 6, but thank goodness for that or I would have refused to pay it based on the service we received. Our waiter is lucky he got a tip at all. I equate dining at 190 Sunset to being at a rowdy bar. I am surprised by how busy they are and all the good reviews they have based on our experience there which was completely different. I almost asked for a manager to complain about our whole experience but did not want to waste any more time there. First and last time ever going to this establishment.

Im disappointed not to be able to recommend this spot as a fine place to dine in Edmonds. I took out of town guests, expecting some classy fare to showcase northwest flavors and ambience and came away with a huge bill and nothing to recommend. Sadly, no part of the experience was worth repeating.

I love their 🍟 sometimes a little soggy, make sure u ask for crispy! They also have a surprisingly yummy chickenclub sandwich (burger bun!)

I had heard about Nanas chicken and was very disappointed. We had to ask for them to give us servicing utinels for the sides, the biscuits were not flakey, stale. Probably wont go back.Im from the south and the chicken didnt stand up to the hope.

Only serve happy hour until 5 with no menu flexibility. Usually enjoy the experience here, but for overpriced happy hour plates my wife and I left hungry because we were expecting dinner options as we have in the past, and ended up getting more food at the McDonalds down the street. Wish they had posted that their menu is now limited on their website... Then I wouldnt have a hangry wife.

Very solid experience here... huge cocktail menu that did not disappoint! We sat outside on the patio - surprisingly quiet and secluded with plant hedges...We had a house salad and crab cakes to start - both outstanding. Being Sunday, the house special was fried chicken - very moist, flavorful crispy outer layer - wow. No room for dessert!Only complaint was the pace - it took forever to get our drinks and the waiter disappeared for ling stretches... but food and drinks were worth it.

Our Dads 90th birthday party was held here. Staff was great, food excellent. We all had a wonderful time.

Delicious food. We had quite a spread. Our favorite was the brussel sprouts with bacon jam. Only downside was the cost of drinks. Top shelf Margarita was $17. Ouch!I think cocktails in the Puget Sound have become something that restaurants charge as much as they can get away with as opposed to a fair value for the price of ingredients and labor. They were delicious though.

This place has some excellent appetizers (great shrimp and grits) and pretty good cocktails. I came here for a work party so I cant speak for the price, but if youre looking for a fancy bar in Edmonds you could do worse. Side note: theres a distillery in the same building and they do tastings. This is definitely a place you could spend some time.

Good seafood and environment. Steaks are expensive and I was told they arent brought in fresh - they are frozen? What? Too expensive for frozen steak. Most of the menu is a bit over priced. Solid cocktails. Dont feel compelled to go as much as I know up the street I can get a fresh cut steak for a lesser price.

The halibut was perfect! The coctails were unique and service was good. What a great atmosphere!

Extremely slow service all around. Food was decent but not worth returning for. Atmosphere was ok but even partially full was very loud. If your looking for a nice quiet place for dinner you should look elsewhere.

Ordered the seafood pasta on date night. Was a bit rich for my taste, but would recommend to true pasta lovers.

I was not impressed. We made reservations early and they sat us at tiny little two top in the middle of the room, even when there was a corner seat available with a beautiful view of the sunset. The entrees on the menu or over $30 each. Dinner and drinks for my wife and I, even with a coupon for buy one entree get another at equal or lesser value for free was over $100.00

My party of 6 had reservations on a Saturday evening. We arrived on time and were immediately seated. 190 has a very modern PNW atmosphere.The restaurant was pretty full and the service we received was slow. It took 15-20 mins for the waitress to take our drink order and about an hour to receive our food after placing our order.Their drink menu was not current and one of the persons in our party settled for a white sangria that was not actually sangria. It tasted like a fake sangria made in the fashion of a Malibu Rum spritzer.The prime rib was delicious and cooked perfectly. The pork chops were a bit salty. They did accommodate a food allergy and we were able to order a BLT off the lunch menu however the bacon had the consistency of jerky.Beware they claim they don’t split checks on Friday or Saturday nights, however they did split our check 4 ways. This was not advertised anywhere. They also automatically added gratuity to our checks.

190 Sunset has been featured on KING 5 Evening Magazine. I been the place for breakfast, happy hour, and with friends for dinner. The cuisine is excellent.

Beautiful location and interesting menu but the food was greasy and it tasted like the grill needed cleaning. Priced like a higher end Bistro with $40 for two bunch entrees, coffee and tea. It feels more like a bar that happens to serve passable food than a food destination.
