I was a little bothered that I wasnt able to get money back from my returned item and it had to go back to the original method of payment. Even if you used a debit card. I prefer to shop at retail stores that would give me my money back when I using a debit card. Sorry not sorry. Big lots need to change their policy unless that cashier/manager was not being truthful.

Watch out for BL order online and pick up. I was sent way out to this BL to pick up an item supposedly at my local. Wasnt asked just informed by email.However, this BL was nice, well stocked, and the people pleasant! Had things my store didnt!

Usually find everything I need but they had no writing paper products and the variety of candles was disappointing.

Rude cashiers!! Horrible experience at this location. Typically love biglots but this was the first time Ive ever been angry leaving. The cashier had me stand there while she ate a bag of ranch doritoes. Being the only register open there wasnt anything I could do. I asked if she was at lunch and apologized if I was interrupting it she replied nope continued to eat as I held a 20lb bag of catfood and a gallon of laundry detergent unable to place them on the counter due to the plexiglass and also trying to accommodate her by making the bar codes easily accessible. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Clearly the cashier that was working there on 4/19/21 dont know how to tell time still had a whole 6 minutes doors locked talking about at 9:00 we closed

Love this store! Only complaint is I got a bed from big lots that cost me over $1000 the headboard did not match the set. Asked an employee about it and he basically told me he was busy to come back with a receipt and pictures. Also had to arrange delivery myself. So now I have extra pieces for the headboard I was supposed to receive and never did.

Love Big lots so much. They always have cute home decor stuff and a good variety of good items. The store is always neat and the employees are nice. Thank you!

I like this store and the staff is great I went there to find decorations to match my new furniture and the young man who worked the front end came to help without hesitation he even walked multiple aisle with me to find what I needed and the prices aren’t bad at all especially for someone Like me with champagne taste and beer money 😂

Love their holiday selection! There is always a good assortment of decorations. There furniture isnt the best quality but its great for the price and is holding up amazingly well. They have lots of grocery and household odds and ends too. I mainly go to check out the holiday items.

Generally I like Big Lots. I have gotten furniture there and it has some pretty and different things at good prices. I have also experienced good customer service while there until this recent visit. The only cashier there, was rude with a screw you attitude. As she was ringing me up I said wait I am a rewards member. I said I can give you my phone number or email. She hit the total button after I said it and then said too late now, I already totaled your order!! I was tempted to stand there, return everything, rebuy it and tell her now, let me give you my information. I am going chalk this up to a one off type of experience but if it would happen again, I wont return. I work too hard for my money and there are too many options to where I can spend my money than to tolerate deliberate poor customer service. Sorry Big Lots.

Very nice soda shop prices on not very expensive

I can almost always find exactly what I need in here. Good prices.However, I was in here the other night and the clerk was being really inappropriate and quite offensive. Really kind of turned me off from going back.

Big Lots is almost one stop shopping. Food items, paper products, sheets, towels, rugs, books, garden supplies, laundry supplies, furniture. The list is endless, prices are reasonable and the personnel are very pleasant.

Always clean. Always surprised by what I find there. A go to for the basics..paper players cups etc. But this time I found makeup wipes and microcellur water for under 2 bucks each. A nice decorative pillow. Truly some gems hidden here. I make it a habit to stop by once a pay period

Excellent prices and merchandise. Poor customer service, the lady cashier looked like she didn’t wanted to be there. She was mad because my cart was full with merchandise.

They often have unique items that are just what I need.

Have items on shelf that are on recall currently chewy chip ohoys cookies. Employees dont greet customers or acknowledge them until you get to the register. Manager was no help will not spend my money there again.

This store is severely outdated. They are just installing automated doors! Can you imagine shopping and leaving a store with your shopping cart and having to fight with doors while the staff watches. They have an issue with theft from neighborhood kids but will fight you to the end over an item you have missing from your purchase even with a receipt. Do yourself a favor and go to another location for peace of mind and safety.

Im a regular at the Big Lots in Dundalk and White Marsh, and this is better than both. One thing that sets it apart is its usually large selection of grocery items on clearance (typically marked down 50% or more). Ive never seen a Big Lots with as much grocery on clearance sale. I stop here whenever possible just to see whats available.

Its a Big Lots so you know its a chain everybody knows about him everybodys been to him. The particular one that I go to I think the prices are good but I guess I would be the same with all Big Lots but the store is dirty it looks dirty. I heard one poor person saying that they will talking to another employee and that they barely made enough money to survive working there so obviously the employees are paid very much. So but I guess thats the way they keep their prices low. I think the one guy said he had two jobs and he did not have insurance and definitely not going to have insurance now that our new Lord and God Trump has taken away our Affordable Health Care. People that really need insurance and really need help are going to suffer soapy companies like Big Lots are going to enjoy huge profits now that they dont have to worry about ensuring their employees but we will get great prices. And the racist and rednecks have the president that they always wanted in the White House

My family and I went to purchase a mattress and getting assistance was like pulling teeth. Finally, I tracked down the so called furniture department expert and she simply refused to help us properly. I pointed out a mattress that I was intrested in and she gave me 0 information on it. I asked about purchasing a Box Spring, and she couldnt accurately give me a price on it. I asked about delivery and she said she knows nothing about their outsource delivery company. I had to force her to get me there info. Needless to say we left without making a purchase.
