I really don’t get the negative and very critical reviews. Please name a better place in a 30 mile radius to get taiyaki because I’m not aware of any, not even industry city in Brooklyn! Staff is always friendly, everything is fresh (that’s why you might have to factor in a wait time), it’s really tasty and reasonably priced. I can highly recommend the taiyaki with red bean paste - I’m always craving for them. So give it a try and judge for yourself! I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

The custard filling one is better than the red bean one. The red bean one is too sweet.

I havent been back here in ages. The obanyaki with red bean was as good as I remembered. I think they make their own red bean paste because its not as sweet as some other places. The ice cream was good too.The cashier could use a smile though.

Love their 大判焼き especially the クリムー paste inside... 鯛焼 is also very good

I viaited on May 6 at 12:30pm, I was told to wait 5-10 minutes, I waited exact 26 minutes to pick up 5 pack oban-yaki, I was the only customer & I saw plenty of oban-yaki ready but she was just too busy talking with her friend who visited at the cash register

I dont know why but the outside was overly thick, and a bit mushy. It did have cute different zodiac signs, but it wasnt anything like what Ive had at other places... Other places are light and fluffy inside with slight crisp outside....Also, their custard was so thick and goopy, the consistency wasnt the normal smooth silky consistency I am used to. Fillings are not too sweet, which is how I like it, but it was oddly bland (maybe not enough salt or just not enough flavors all around). The chocolate custard was even more goopy and it didnt taste like chocolate. It was closer to bean mush(?) with a hint of chocolate. It was quite interesting... I dont know if they had an off day or its always like this...

Came here yesterday and was excited to have the custard filled desserts. I ordered the buy 5 get 1 free and she told me it would take 10 min. I said thats fine and wandered the marketplace while I waited. She called my number, I got my order, and drove home. When I opened the box I was a little surprised since I saw taiyaki (the fish shaped bread) while I was sure the custard ones were supposed to be circle shaped. Of course when I bit into it it was filled with red bean. I am not a fan of red bean so it was a major disappointment to now have 6 red bean taiyaki that I waited 10 min for (and I live over an hour away so Im not going to return to complain). Next time I will have to make sure before I leave the stall or watch as they make it.

💫鯛焼：I tried the green tea and the red bean. The flour wrapper was too thick with a wired taste of alkali. Much worse than those I had in Tokyo.Worse still, the cashier touched the money, and then put her hands in the food bag. The food must be contaminated.我的天怎么会有这么难吃到🤢的鲷鱼烧！

Another food vendor at Mitsuwa Marketplace that was on our list to try. They didnt open until 11am so we waited around. Ended up coming back and getting some before we went grocery shopping. Not sure if it was worth the wait though. Friend ordered and it took 30 minutes for our order. The first bite I had was just ok. Didnt make me want to take another bite though. Not sure if the ladies were rushed, but they dont seem to be put together well. They fell apart and the seams dont stick.Ive had better. For me, 30 minutes for meh wasnt worth it.

Great yakitori and ice cream for desserts made fresh daily.Will come back here again.

I think she sold me left overs from last night. The red bean and cream cakes both are very hard and dry. So disappointed !
