Big stores like this arent supposed to make you feel human. Nice people who helped me fix a pair of my mothers glasses I sat on and ended up selling me sunglasses while I was there. Thanks Richard, I appreciate your kindness.

Went there in a pinch. My regular glasses broke and they offered a repair. Matthew assisted me and was very nice. He did insist on me wearing a mask when in the store. Last time I checked there are not mask mandates in NJ. He did ask if I forgot my mask, I said don’t have one. He gave me one. He repaired my glasses and I was appreciative. Store was kind of empty so while I waited, I was reading the reviews other people posted online about this location. I can’t comment directly about their fees for appointments. The only I have an issue with was the mask wearing in the store. I don’t think I would go there again for glasses or recommend anyone to go there. A lot of the practices sound shady. And they are looking for people to give positive reviews in order to push down the negative ones. Buyer beware.

I recently visited LensCrafters and had an amazing experience! I was greeted and helped by Almaza and Hamsa. Both assisted me in finding the best pair of glasses and elaborated all information in depth! Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place and service! The process was very quick as I had been there the day before to choose my frames, I got an eye test done and everyone I dealt with was very professional. Within an hour my glasses were ready. The location was very convenient for me. Keep up the great work, I will be back next year for my next pair!

Definitely the place to go if you need glasses ASAP. It is not the cheapest but a better alternative if you need something immediately. Almaza was delight and helpful. However another lady there could you learn from Almaza. All in all worth going to and I can see again!

I am so disappointed with their customer service. It’s not first time for me to go there, but I would not recommend it at all.If you will make a appointment, you need to let them know your credit card information. It means if you reschedule the appointment, $50 will be charged. If you can’t let them know your credit card information, the appointment will be canceled.I got a appointment, but I didn’t want to let them know my credit card information by phone, the appointment has been canceled. I can’t believe it and never go there again.

Kudos to the Manager, Richard, who provided us, and everyone in the store, with excellent service. The interaction between the employees showed a great team dynamic. I have been going to this Lenscrafters for many years and this was by far the best experience.

I am so disappointed with this place: very good location, but I would not recommend it at all. Poor customer service: staff very unfriendly, focused only on cashing you out. After that, you are on your own, if you have any issues with your prescription. Matthew in particular was very unprofessional and disrespectful.

TLDR: Location made policy change due to covid that forces customers to disclose credit card information or else appointment is cancelled.I made my annual appointment with them weeks in advance over their online web portal. It was simple enough and no mention of any covid related policy changes. Fast forward to the 30th of Nov 2020 @ 12pm and I receive a phone call while I am mid job site. The woman over the phone confirmed who I was and my insurance information. Then asked me for my credit card information over the phone to confirm my appointment. I informed her I am mid job site and on the road I am not going to pull over to give you that info. Additionally I do not feel secure in disclosing that over phone. The lady then informs me that my appointment will be cancelled by 5pm EOD if I do not provide it. Needless to say I had many issues with this practice of which I will not get into detail over. I am then told that I can walk in around that time for the appointment but it wont be treated as an appointment but as a walk-in and there is a risk of not being seen.I take this up with their corporate as this interaction was unprofessional and to demand I disclose my credit information over the phone to secure an appointment is ridiculous. This should of asked for when securing the appointment on a secure web portal not over phone lines. Clearly your financial security is not on their mind. For all I know it could of been a fisher or scammer trying to get my credit info. At no point were there any attempts to belay my concerns.Talking with corporate they inform me that I should be receiving a phone sms message confirming my appointment if I do then I should be fine. I receive the expected SMS and reply to confirm the appointment. I believe all is well until I walk into the location today. I am then informed they do not have my appointment as it was cancelled. I show them the verification that was sent to me and they refused to honor it. I spoke to another manager that informed me that the credit card policy has always been in place only to then be corrected by their own staff that this is a recently new policy. I ask the manager why do they not inform their customers of this change in policy as any professional business location does and I get a half baked answer of we cant bother to inform our thousands of customers. Clearly this manager has no clue how to manage a business let alone customers expectations. He again reiterated that he cannot control the policy.I get home and receive an email from Lenscrafters corporate to find out that this location can indeed manage their policies and that Lenscrafters cannot enact anything at this location as it is a sublease of their company.If you have taken the time to read this entire journey, Thank You. All in all do not support this businness and I will be taking my businesss elsewhere. The downright unprofessionalism of the manager there and the feigned lack of ability to do right by the customer I highly suggest you look elsewhere. Below pictures verify my story.

I rate this store a 5 star. I felt welcomed and patiently picked out my eyeglass frame. Nick helped me with such a friendly attitude. He went through everything in great detail with me. I recommend you meet Nick when you stop in this store because I certainly am.

Good customer service but the doc there just misdiagnosis me and I can not wear the glasses as I got headaches and can’t see clearly my desktop...I guess mistakes happen! Especially when you rush it.I am trying to return the glasses and fix the prescription and the store is closed because of the issues we are all dealing with... will see how they will handle the situation...I am already disappointed of the waste of time.

Sad. We used to LOVE this location. My family has bought over 5 pairs of glasses in the last 2 years. Today tho, ‘ service’ was HORRIBLE! And the woman who ‘helped’ us was the store manager. She could not have been bothered with us. Really didn’t want to help us. And we were the only customers in the store. We will NOT return to this location. I’m in awe that LensCrafters has this ‘manager’ in such a store. We went down the road to America’s Best, found the Raybans and the service was impeccable!You will see fellow reviewers note the great service of Nick and Anthony. Matt too. They were fantastic! Current manager needs to go!

I just had a horrible experience with your Technician Anthony Brattoli at the Promenade Lenscrafters in Edgewater NJ. The first problem was, the stores machine was broken so I waited a week for the glasses which wouldnt be an issue if when they were there they were in great condition. Within minutes of opening the box it was clear that the lenses were cut improperly for the frames with the edges having entire cutouts missing. The technician Anthony asked me to try them on and I could just hold onto them until the new ones came in with fixed lenses. That seemed reasonable until I tried the glasses on. This is where things went worse. The glasses for some reason, literally distorted my field of vision to be blurry and cone like. Anthony was trying to tell me this was normal. But in all my years of wearing glasses never did my glasses distort objects to be distant, blurry, and headache inducing if scanning the room. I tried to explain what I was seeing so he could make the proper corrections and he just decided to do the strange rooster ruffle feather attitude where someone says You are wrong because I have been in this business longer than you about what I was seeing. At this point I had enough of trying to explain to someone who didnt want to help, nor listen to any of my concerns and asked for a refund. I dont really care about people who are jerks, but I do care about wasted time and this has wasted my time. Not only do I now not have glasses for the holidays, but I may not be able to use the sale I had for the 99$ glasses.He didnt offer me any solutions, ideas, thoughts beyond, you are crazy and I have been doing this longer than you. So I had no choice but to do a return right there to avoid dealing with his attitude.The worst part is I told him how the doctor who is a room away, when she gave me the tester glasses to replicate how I would see with them on, none of the distortions or issues arose, he said Well we dont work directly with them, and I have been doing this for 15 years!. I was trying to explain that with the tester glasses there was no issue, with these improperly cut glasses, which already had one flaw, there was an issue. But alas as the story repeats itself he didnt care.I have used Lens crafters for many years and never have I ever dealt with such an unhelpful individual. Usually everyone is extremely nice spending time with me to figure out what looks good on me and getting me exactly what I need with such a personal thing like glasses.So now I am not sure what to do. I need the glasses, but I refuse to shop anywhere where he is associated and have made sure to leave a review on Yelp to let others know to avoid him in case they have an issue with their prescription as well.

Went in on a Friday night, Jessica was more than helpful in helping me get the pair I had set aside done, but also got my into a new pair of sun glasses within my range and made the whole process so easy. Would definitely go back every time I need glasses now.

I never even went to them. I called to find out if they take my eye care insurance, but the guy kept asking me what my medical issurance was. I told him I wasnt going to use medical and he kept asking and wouldnt answer my questions. They are very rude and made me feel like they are doing something against the rules there. I will never go there.

Andrew Boodram Zone Vice President of Lenscrafters Luxottica is a joke and has to be fired – he checks the dust on the shelves when he comes to stores, than he talks about the importance of selling the second pair – but does not know what sells the best as the second and third pair of eyeglasses because he is not an optician and did not work on the store level, does not care if anybody has any questions about anything in the company – he knows better what to do :) Frequently fires, changes district managers, store managers – as they are to blame the low performance of stores.He needs to be a maintenance manager at a different company – not a manager at Lenscrafters Luxottica
