I have been a loyal customer since they opened. You don’t get the feeling that you’re visiting just another play space when you go here, you feel like you’re visiting friends that happen to have lots of toys and amazing coffee 😂. Owners Dana and Neha are so sweet, I started visiting as a customer and ended up feeling like a friend. That’s the type of vibe you get there. We have done open play, story time, arts and crafts and are excited to try their literacy and math class which I heard amazing things about. My daughter is 4 and still loves it there.

I have been coming to the The Village since it opened and I can honestly say it has always been a positive experience. The staff and owners are so sweet, the place is always clean, the classes are great and I love that I can enjoy a latte while my little one enjoys the play area. We are currently obsessed with the ballet class and the teachers are great!! Thank you for creating an environment that helps my kids grow, learn, and most importantly have fun.If you’re in the area definitely check it out!

My kids have been coming here for almost one year and I couldn’t have found a more EDUCATIONAL, FUN, AFFORDABLE, and DELICIOUS place to unwind while my kids learn and have a great time. The founder of this amazing place Mrs.Dana has made not only my experience as a mom here more than pleasant but she has managed to meet all my kids needs which are not easy. I am a single mom who needed a place to be able to get my things done while my kids are safe and doing something productive & I’m so happy I did not have to look long or far. This place is so beneficial for the little ones with new minds that absorb like sponges. Here’s the plus side to magical place the coffee and food here is absolutely mouth watering and my pockets are still happy after every visit here. To be honest I come here more for me than the kids 😂 Thank you again to the team because it really does take a village I’m truly great full to have found this gem 💜

Excellent atmosphere, good blend of small shops , there is public parking lot and from there you can walk to a set of small independently owned artisan shops. Would come back again.

Love this place and can’t recommend it enough! I always take my nieces and nephews for private play. It’s perfect because we get out of the house and they get to spend time with each other and play while I enjoy a coffee and finish some work at the cafe. The place is so clean and they are so COVID conscious which gives me peace of mind and one of the reason we go! The staff and owners are incredible as well, the most warm and welcoming people ever!

My family had a wonderful time at a private play session. We’re so grateful to have had this opportunity to get the kids out of the house, with the peace of mind it would be just us. Extremely clean and cute place, and appreciate that masks are enforced. Super chic decor and nice variety of toys. My family’s kids (10 months, 3 yrs, 4yrs and 8 yrs) all thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend this place, and can’t wait to visit again!

Frankly, I did not get a welcoming vibe from the owners. The shop is cute but severely overpriced. If you are rich, im sure you can afford it.

I had my son’s birthday here and we had a great time regardless of the covid situation. The staff wore their masks all the time and we set outside at the two large tables and comfy chairs while kids played in the awesome playroom with their masks on. It was a small party but everyone was happy and comfortable. They have great coffee and small bites, the menu can be improved on but I am sure they are working on it. I am definitely coming back here for play time or for my next party.

My child is taking the literacy and math learning pod and the art class at the Village now. She loves all the teachers and is looking forward to go in every day. Her phonic and sight words skills have been improved tremendously. She didnt recognize any sight words before joining the pod in August, but now she can recognize 5 - 10 words. To us, this is amazing given English is not her primary language.She also enjoys the art class very much. We started her on the art class in August. She told me she wanted to continue the art class when she finished last session in August. Thankfully, the Village decided to continue offering this class. We happily registered her again in September and will do so in the coming months.My child just loves all the teachers at the Village. Literally she just said she loves Ms. Genevieve, Ms. Aqsa and Ms. Dana as I am writing this review!We as parents are very happy we found the Village that helps us!(Note: I never left a review on any businesses before, but the Village is such a special place that I decided to do so.)

I saw this place mentioned in a local mom group on FB, so I decided to go with my 1 year old. We don’t live close at all but thought it’d be worth taking my daughter for the experience. I called beforehand to ask if the place is open and my daughter and I can go there, the lady on the phone said it’s open and we can come.I arrived they greeted us, and I ordered some food. The place was very small but very cute. I got to sit on the couch and watch my daughter play while they prepared my order. 20 minutes later they tell us we have to leave because a class is scheduled.My daughter was not happy I interrupted her play and I was disappointed I drove all the way there to be kicked out. They said I should’ve made an appointment, but what was the point of calling, then? Why didn’t the lady who answered my phone call not give anymore information about this?

My 3 year old daughter went to the stem class at the Village. The overall environment at the Village is very warm, inviting and perfect for young kids to thrive and bond with their teacher or their friends in the class. Her teacher Ms Maya is simply the best in handling young kids, making classes very enriching and fun. She danced, played and connected with each kid in the class. She facilitated friendships among the kids. My daughter really blossomed all the time she spent there. She learned and grew very much at the time she spent there.The facility at the Village is also spacious, bright, clean and beautiful. It was my daughter’s fav place to be before we moved our home to another city.Special shout out to the co founders Ms Dana and Ms Neha to have created such a happy place for all kids and mommys.Highly recommend this place.

I have nothing but the BEST things to say about The Village! You can tell so much thought and love went into every aspect of this cute, cozy and modern space. We’ve been there dozens of times for play dates for our 4 year old and 2 year old and they never want to leave! I love that they kept the Montessori method in mind when designing the play area with sustainable, eco friendly toys. We always take a break from play to enjoy their new menu items and of course a hot chocolate with sprinkles for the kids. Their shop is also so adorable and unique and we look forward to grabbing educational toys or new books for their little library at home after each visit!In October, we hosted a small intimate birthday party for my 4 year old and the owners and staff went above and beyond to bring it all to life! They were so kind, friendly and extra attentive to our needs. They were extremely cautious about making safety a top priority for this party which was the most important thing for my husband and I. From the balloon arches, to the decor, delicious food, games and service- they made this event unforgettable for my daughter and the little ones! I cannot wait to host my sons birthday there next!Most recently, we enrolled my 4 year old in their STEM learning program twice a week. She looked forward to every single class and couldn’t wait to tell me all about what she learned and made during her 2 hour session. She absolutely loved her teachers and gained so much valuable knowledge that she brings up day to day!After a year full of changes for parents and children, I’m so glad my kids were able have something CONSTANT through The Village- a safe space to have fun, learn, create and grow! Cannot recommend them enough!

We just celebrated my son’s 2nd birthday this weekend at the Village Edgewater and I cannot say enough how wonderful this place is! It is super cute, clean, cozy, modern, chic and best of all, it has a delicious café for us tired parents! If you are a fan of sustainable/Montessori style play as I am, this place is for you! I wanted a party that did not require me to be in harnesses, on a trampoline or otherwise defying gravity while shouting for kids over endless noise. This gave us a safe place for the kids to play and the moms to chill. My guests AND their little ones raved about the party and are already asking for another play date at The Village! The owners and staff are all so amazing!! They offer private play, parties, language classes, craft classes...I am already looking to book out next visit! Support small business and check these amazing moms out...you will not regret it!

I truly love this place and I love that my 2 year old loves it too. We have been coming here since it opened and not only is it a beautiful spot but the owners really put a lot of thought into the toys and art/ crafts/ books in the shop. As much wooden and natural toys as possible which is a nice departure from the all plastic. Unlike other play places I see them constantly keep the area clean and disinfected. And while it’s in my nature to clean up- the staff always reminds me to relax and that’s part of their job. It’s nice to have a cafe on premises and I always meet another mom there to talk to. The prices always seem very reasonable to me especially because I know all of their products are high quality and expense and the staff and owners are always attentive and kind. I always offer to pay at the end of my session because I never know how many hours I’ll stay or how much stuff my daughter wants to eat and they always oblige. They also update toys and activities constantly to keep it fresh which I appreciate. So happy this is here. I wish I could walk to it and not have to drive but it is worth it.

Simply love this place! It has soothing color tones and perfect for play dates and even caregivers can have a good time while the kids play. They have really good coffee and tea and also sell daily baked foods.It’s filled with a lot of Montessori wooden open ended toys. It feels less commercialized and the people managing it and owners are extremely warm. Highly recommend it!

I highly recommend bringing your children for their 2 hour private play session! We went on a Tuesday from 12-2 pm. We were a group of 10 people, 7 kids (17-3 months), 3 adults and we all had a great time! Adults got to talk and hang out while kids were enjoying themselves with all the different sections at the Village. The toys were mostly wooden and made very well. Everything was very clean and they were very responsive to my inquiries on Instagram beforehand. We look forward to coming here again! Thank you!

We wanted to do a small celebration for our younger daughter who was turning 5. I had done a quick little tour of this adorable kid’s play place with Neha before the pandemic. The village came to my mind because I get news letters and updates via email. I called and confirmed that we won’t have more than 10 people. Neha , went above and beyond with catering you our requests and requirements. The little party exceeded our expectations. From the custom cake , the decor details like name banner, and balloon Decor. Spectacular quality of the cupcakes and pizza also a delicious salad for the few adults we had. The staff is professional and courteous . They tend to all our guests with extreme care and everyone had a great time.I highly recommend this neat , well kept kids play place for small get togethers.

Great place to bring the kids to get them out of the house. While they play you can sit relax and enjoy a tastey cup of coffee.They practice all the social distancing rules and are constantly cleaning.

Brought my 2 year old twin girls at The Village and my children had the best time and we were welcomed with warmth by the lovely staff. Enough for them to do and not get bored and mommy was able to enjoy her delicious coffee and snacks in peace. From pretend play, to educational toys, arts & crafts, and story time there is no time of boredom. Loved the clean and aesthetic appearance of the space. (The bathroom facilities are family-friendly and there is even a private nursing/pumping room) We will be back!!

I celebrated my son’s firsts birthday at The Village this weekend. We had a great experience working with Neha from the moment I reached out to them via Instagram to the last detail of our party. Neha customized our party package to meet our needs and took care of everything for us. The decorations they provided were very pretty, the cake was delicious and beautiful, and the catered food was also amazing. The staff working our party were friendly and attentive to me and my guest. My son loved the bubble dance party the most! Highly recommend.

We looked at other places to have her party but Dana and her staff were very friendly from the time we met them, which continue to the very end. They understand our theme and added great ideas to make it more memorable than we could imagine. Thank you Village Edgewater.

Amazing vibe, clean and safe atmosphere, educational and playful surrounding for my little one all while I can have a delicious cup a coffee or tea accompanied by healthy bites for me and my little one. I truly love it here and highly recommend it for local and even not so local moms— it’s worth the trip. I live 30 minutes away and my daughter loves it so much that I don’t mind taking the ride for her. The music class today was absolutely adorable— I love how they have all these scheduled activities that can enlighten & connect children and us mothers too at the same time. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. It’s truly a one of a kind place enjoyable and beneficial for children and mothers— A win-win!

As a pregnant stay at home mom of an 18 month old, funding activities to keep my son entertained is essential to my sanity. The village has been my savior since it’s opening! The staff is extremely welcoming and warm, upon entering you are always greeted like you are a family member. They always ask if you’d like something to drink or eat, which we all know never happens to a mother! The owners are super sweet and always make my son and I feel at home. I ended up purchasing the membership because we found ourselves there daily! My son never gets bored here and there is always someone who plays with him whether it be another kid or one of the staff members. Overall, the village is an incredible place for not only kids but mothers as well. It feels like a place mother’s can go for support and entertainment for their kids. This place is exactly what Edgewater needed!

We had our daughters second birthday at The Village yesterday. It was AMAZING. I walked in and was in awe of the decor , the place is so clean, the play area is soooo cute! And the hostesses are so nice. Everyone had a great time. When it was time to go upstairs for the crafts I was astonished once again. The cake sept up was BEAUTIFUL. It was perfect. The day was great and well spent, everyone enjoyed their time there.The hostesses were so helpful and took care of everything. Neha was on top ofThings and so helpful throughout the planning and also the day of the party.I have to also mention the coffee from their cafe is sooo tasty.There were kids ages 2-11 and they ALL had fun. It was such a good time.If you need a fun place to celebrate a birthday party come to The Village!We will be coming again for play dates.Thank you to everyone at The Village for making my little princesses birthday a remarkable event.

Love love love the village! It’s so beautifully designed and decorated — a breath of fresh air from the usual tacky children’s play places. The coffee is great too! I’ve never seen a child willingly leave this place so be prepared for a tantrum from the little ones when it’s time to go :)

We LOOOOOOVE the village!!! It is the only place I have taken my two daughters since quarantine: the place is SO clean, the staff is amaaazing and the owners are the sweetest! We love the private play! My oldest daughters third bday was a month ago and we celebrated there! They had a blast and they helped me with everything :) Also, the toys they have for sale in the store are super cute! Oh, and the best part about this place: mommy can get her iced chai and avocado toast and relaxxx while the girls are having a blast!

We had our daughter’s 3rd birthday here and it was really amazing. The place is set up with the perfect balance for your child to have creative, educational fun and a area for parents to relax and enjoy. The theme was executed so perfectly with it being a spin on Donuts .... my kids truly had a great time. Can’t wait to have some more play time at the village!

We finally found our Village!It isn’t easy to be a mom far from my origin country, but since last month things are a little easier around here.The Village is a great place for my daughter to play but also for me to chat, make connections and sometimes have an amazing chocolate caramel cone.Everything is so well thought, beautiful, eco friendly, and the staff is so nice!Our winter is much warmer since we meet our Village!My suggestion is the music class with Miss Momo, a must try! And we are looking forward to try all the other classes ❤️

My daughter and I just went to a music class held at The Village. Upon walking in, we were met by a friendly staff member and a nicely decorated open playroom. We were told the music class would be held upstairs so myself (8mons pregnant) and a 2 year old toddler had to climbed up a set of really high/steep stairs to get there. Not fun.The actual music class did not start on time but we had a blast. The instructor was great.After the class, once we made it down the stairs, my daughter immediately wanted to play in the open play area... there is no barrier between the front entrance and the open play area so she just ran right in. It’s getting close to her nap time and in my exhaustion, didn’t have the energy at 8 months pregnant to fight her to leave. So i let her play. A woman who identified herself as the owner asked with an attitude if I was going to stay an hour. At that point, I didn’t know... will my daughter make it an hour past her nap time? Will she want to leave right away? I had no clue. But if she did want to play, and I needed to pay, then it wasn’t a problem. However the owner made it very clear that free play was not included with the music class. Almost as if she wanted us to leave. Ok- I get it lady, I won’t jip you $15 to play here for an hour. Relax. Or find a better tactic to notify potential customers of the additional price instead of making us feel uncomfortable. The whole exchange felt bizarre.We ended up staying the hour, after the first 30 mins, the atmosphere that looked so cute upon first glance got old pretty quickly. I don’t think it will be a place my daughter would be excited to go over and over again... one time was more than enough. I’ll take the instagramable pics and leave.I also found a nail on the floor near the back by the breastfeeding area and felt the small black price tags at the front of the store was a chocking hazard for toddlers who can easily reach them.I really wanted to like this place because it’s so close to us and wanted a cute place to connect with other mothers, but the whole exchange today turned me off. I’m not sure its worth it for us to go back let alone consider a membership... such a shame.
