Our local grocery store, it can be busy at times but the prices are good, and the staff are always friendly. If it is busy the lines go quickly, I’m happy to call this my local grocery store :)

Store is always out of regular products including milk, meats, frozen items and produce. the Deli/Bakery is only open banker hours of 9 to 6 pm. so if ya work during the day. Sorry folks your screwed.

The prices are great esp. managers specials meats and seafood items if youre looking to cook up a fast one for dinner. Associates are friendly, always willing to help shoppers at this store, and fun. Weekly flier starts Wednesdays.

Prices are high and seems bare. Also just found out today that the stuff I got expired a June 19th when I got it July 5th. Make sure to check the expiration dates because it seems that they dont.

I like Foog Loin. Nice store in Edgemere. Somethings are high. But clean and nice sales. When in the area I do enjoy a good deal and always find one there.

I have been shopping here for almost 8 months because it os close to my house.I don’t understand why they are always out of stock of cat food bathroom wet wipes and paper products.I typically go to Safeway of I am close to one but sometimes I need something not 25 min away.This store is a disappointment they are constantly out of stock when almost every other chain has gotten back to normal. Safeway Giant Weis and Walmart are fully stocked.I think this will be my last trip to this Food Lion.When I asked about the stock and when I could come to get the items I neededThe cat food stocker was so rude and just blamed everything in the warehouse and she offered no information just mean old lady.This food lion is terrible.

Had the chicken sandwich with sweet pickles on it from the hot bar. I didnt even have to add condiments. Also sell a 2 piece fried chicken with a biscuit. A quick affordable lunch. It was amazing. Food is priced right.

I am a regular at the Food Lion. During the recent remodel I was in search of the bean section and I had to ask an employee for help. A nice young man named Will assisted me with the utmost care. I felt respected and cared for. Thanks!!!

Makes me sad to write this review but please read to its entirety as I would like to be contacted. Today October 14th around 1pm I was shopping at Food Lion in Edgemere and I am a very frequent shopper because I live near the store. Let me begin by saying that the customer is NOT always right and under no circumstance was I trying to ever try to display an attitude. I actually know a lot of the employees by name and talk to them outside of Food Lion via Facebook. Today in the bread aisle I noticed a group of people removing items and putting them into boxes. It was not employees of food lion but a company CDL maybe? I noticed some expired food and approached an older white lady and asked “are you removing expired food from the shelf’s?” She stared at me and didn’t respond so I asked again and mentioned that they have some expired items. She asked me to not have an attitude with her. I responded by saying “I’m not coming in hot, you must have misunderstood. I wanted to bring to your attention that you had expired food”. She then said that I shouldn’t have an attitude as she does not work for Food Lion. I then reminded her again that I’m not trying to get into a confrontation and I just want to know if they have the item that isn’t expired. So I then ignored her and pulled some items aside to grab the non expired ones from the back. A second young African American lady came over working for the same company tried helping me and the older white lady came back and I just responded saying I’m good. These are the ones if you want them. I’m good. It really disappoints me that people have an attitude as I have been shopping there for over 15 years and never have I thought to write a negative review until now. I just want people like that out of my neighborhood store because it has been well ran prior. I will gladly change my review to 5 star if I get a response on this below. Until then I will leave the store now feeling embarrassed, angry and frustrated that people like that are working and that job should be given to a person with less of an attitude to their customers.

Contractors not wearing face masks. Employees no wearing face masks properly. No proper hand clear wipes. No hand cleaner empty containers. Some costumers no wearing mask at all others not properly.

I think Food Lion is a really good store. Theyve good variety of products at reasonable prices. Also, they usually carry a good stock of products so they rarely if ever run out of things that Im looking for. Whether Im buying frozen foods or just quick snacks I leave satisfied

Its a great grocery store. The staff is very helpful. The place is very clean and have really good specials every Week. The MVP membership saves money as always and gives you back lots of coupons. Like the normal membership way the more you shop, the more you save. I highly recomend their products and produce. But dont buy any meat that is managers special i have tried it many times but its never any good most of the time I return it. The meat prices and the chicken in general is very good and not expensive, so its better to buy your meats fresh. The quality of meat also very high grade. Also, they have the best fruits out of all the other grocery stores. There fruits are always fresh and high quality as expect it. The neighborhood around this store is highly populated with white people so dont expect a lot of international foods there. Also, I have to say they have a whole isle for the international products. All in all its a great place to do your grocery there.

Cleanest grocery store I have been in in years. Even smelled brand new, despite being there for decades. Prices are about average, slightly higher than the bargain stores, but overall it made me feel like I was shopping in some new, upscale part of town.

I love this grocery store. We live in Baltimore City, but are regularly in Edgemere for boating. I often make a point to stop here on my way back home, because the experience is much more pleasant than my options in the city.

Shopping here for many years and Ive never had a bad experience. The store is always clean and very neat. I also love how I have never come here and had to stand in a long line and never a huge crowd. Also, the staff are very friendly and helpful.

This is my local grocery store and I have never had a problem. When the lines are a little long, customer service or managers will get on registers to help out. Always a big selection of fresh meats and their produce is always fresh.

Always in stock of everything I need. Although I wish there were more of a variety of fruits and vegetables. Normally what is in season is what they have but I guess its because they are local. If that is the case then Im okay with locally grown produce.

I go here all the time. However, Sunday night I came here to shop. I was the only one in the store and I had a big cart of things. It closes at 11pm. At 10:50 the manager began following me around the store telling me to leave. Then she proceeds to call the intercom telling security to escort me out because the store was about to close. Minding you that it was not 11 yet. She reaches into my cart and begins placing my things on the cashiers belt. Then she locks me inside of the place, so that I have a hard time getting out. I am disgusted by the managers actions!

What am I suppose to say. This is my local food store. Any other stores are 14 miles away. This tracking is way overboard.

Food lions is like Ross of grocery

Daytime temperature was 12° and a rude Office Manager told a young female cashier she couldnt wear her jacket which was plain jacket because it wasnt a Food Lion Jacket. The young girl had a short sleeve Food Lion shirt on. It was cold at all those registers and the manager said this in front of many customers. I found the office manager outside pushing carts and said excuse me three times before she answered me and said you asked the young female cashier to take off her jacket because it wasnt a Food Lion Jacket bit there is another older lady wearing a dress peacoat. Not even a jacket a coat. The manager said shed look into it. She should definitely not be an office manager when she cant even make intelligent decisions.

I have been going to fl for about 8 yrs. The fl in sparrows point had a manager by the name of Adam. He was sure to help you if it needed to be ordered he did that right away. But since he transferred my opinion the store went downhill. They always never have what you want or need. So the last couple of times I have been going to Giant, and probably will be going their for now on. Unless they get another manager like Mr. Adam.
