Very pleased with the courteous, knowledgeable service I received today. I was able to set up a payment plan that works for me and ensures some stability in an uncertain fuel market. I have been a Cernak customer for some time and they have always been helpful.

Donny T. Came to do a routine cleaning on my oil furnace/hot water heater cause I wasn’t getting really HOT water anymore and he was super informative and took time to teach me some things I hadn’t known even though I have owned this home for almost 20 years! I like cerenak fuel because they were a smaller more personal company... so I was a bit worried when I saw they were bought by a much bigger company... but I was happily surprised when Donny (who was a change from one of the 2 people I had always sent to me in the past) was extremely personable and very helpful. He also let me know since we got along a could ask for him to be my “oil guy” in the future and then he would eventually know my system and be able to figure out what may be going on with it a bit faster since I do have a very old house abd a fairly “classic” system, lol! He also gave me hints of how I could keep my oil use down when I wasn’t going to need it to be always keeping my tankless heater going during the warmer months if I wasn’t going to be around using/needing the hot water to be constantly kept hot! Clever... nobody ever mentioned that before 👍9/12/22…Today Donny T. Saved the day again, on sept. 11, amid the 20th anniversary rememberence, apparently my oil burners motor died and I discovered it at 3am on the 12th when I tried to shower so I would be ready to go into work early that day, but of course… NO HOT WATER abd no time to deal with it 🙀so I called Cernak but decided not to wake up the person on call and wait for the morning to do it, I set my alarm for 8am but of course I didn’t set it correctly since it was 3am when I tried to do it, so when I naturally woke at 9am now I was rushing to get the hot water fixed before work at 11:30am 🤦🏻‍♀️You would think it would be impossible , but when I mentioned the time crunch I was now in Donny said he would get to me as quickly as he could and 20 min. Later he was here working on the problem and replacing the burnt out motor. 20 min. Later I was getting ready to start my day, and taking a hot shower! THANK YOU DONNY & thank you Cernak,… I was only 5min. Late, which blew my mind, and I didn’t think was going to be possible when I discovered NO HOT WATER at 3an & just hours before! I am lucky that Donny & Cernak cared enough to rush over when I told them it was important to me to be showered before my work day which started at 11:30am, and they made sure it happened! 🖤👍

Their driver saw fit to trespass and park in our driveway while paying so little attention that he failed to notice the running car trying to leave the driveway. Upon being asked to move we were told When he finished and that he Could care less when told he was trespassing.Hence why Cernak will now pay us a $500 convenience fee the next time they trespass to deliver fuel elsewhere.

Great service to date, including friendly & accessible customer service folks who have helped us find out the answers to questions about the existing equipment at the house we purchased, and quickly straightened out a billing error. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing fuel services in their region.

Im a new customer and so far Im very happy! Five big stars!! The customer service people are extremely responsive and helpful. They scheduled the first oil delivery and the first annual maintenance on the same day and they were both on time and went smoothly. The delivery person was friendly and professional. The maintenance tech, Donny Trombley, was also very friendly, informative, knowledgeable and very thorough (more so than the technician from my previous oil company). Cernak works with the oil buying coop Green Energy Consumers Alliance so the price per gallon is lower too. I have only good things to say about them, highly recommended!

I called on a Saturday because I want to bed with no heat the night prior...within the hour of the call I received a call from the technician...about a hour later he was fixing my heating system...he my heat up and going no time flat...he was kind, respectful and helpful for what I needed to know for better service in the future....Thank you for being a pleasant company to work with. Signed up with Cernak last year. Auto delivery is great. Friendly staff. Mr Trombley serviced the furnace today - arrived on time (and masked up). He was courteous and informative, and I should be all set for the winter!

I have used Cernak since buying my house 10 years ago. I have always been happy with the service. I have been on auto delivery the entire time. I have never run out of oil. I liked the old website, before HOP Energy took over. I also do not care for the constant emailing of marketing materials.

They provide text notifications when the serviceman was enroute, the technician was courteous and professional and the work was efficiently carried out.

I got a contract with them for low-cost oil all winter. And their technician, Donny, is pleasant and respectful and he explains things to you.

The technician, Walter Goulet, who serviced my ancient furnace was great. He cleared a clog in the thingamajig to avoid a costly repair in the future and it works really well now.

Service technician and original office are great. Some growing pain since the other company took it over what is definitely improved but not quite bad to its normal. Previously would have given him five star no doubt

Signed up for new account. Attracted by the cheap price. Told someone should be home for the first delivery so driver could check tank and connection. Asked woman for a morning delivery and she said we would get the fuel on Monday morning or she would call us if there was a change. Here it is 3:16 in the afternoon and still no delivery!!!!!!!!!

Cernak Fuel is THE Best company to do business with for your home. I bought my first house a little over 2 years ago and 2 of my best friends have done business with Cernak Fuel for years and they highly recommended Cernak Fuel. Now I know why! One of the technicians came out ahead of the closing to look over the system. He advised me on the things I need to do, and other things I didnt need to do and saved me a bunch of money. With a dirt floor in the basement, they gave me a proposal to install a new Roth oil tank. They installed it promptly and saved me tons of cash. The office staff is always so friendly! The drivers and technicians are always on time and knowledgeable. I get treated like a VIP, not like a number. I got the service contract and it really paid off. Id recommend Cernak Fuel to anyone!

I was told last week by 2 different people that I was supposed to get oil delivered today. I have a contract with Cernak and am almost out of oil. I am not happy and will chose a more dependable company in the future. No oil was delivered today.

Good afternoon Ms. Marchese,I just wanted to take a moment to let you know the positive experience I had renewing our Cernak Oil contract with Ms. Haskins.Hop Energy’s acquisition of Cernak Fuel last year can be described as bumpy at best from our experience as 20 year customers. Our renewal process needed to go smoothly this year if we were to stay Cernak/Hop customers. Ms. Haskins made to process clear, easy and was extremely helpful. Her explanation of the process was clear and made it easy to understand our options. She told me when she would be out of the office and when she would return in case we had questions. Her return calls were prompt and she was a pleasure to work with. One of our reasons for remaining Cernak customers so long was because of the the customer service. Ms. Haskins renewed our faith in Cernak’s tradition of great customer service. In early December my husband and I awoke to a very cold house and discovered that we were totally out of oil even though we are on the auto-fill plan with Cernak Oil. It took two days for us to finally have a full tank of oil delivered and that was after the driver went first to the wrong street in the wrong town. The ladies in the office at Cernak, Marilyn and Jennifer, could not have been nicer. They suggested there had a been a major breakdown in the auto fill calculation system.Now for the kicker. We received bills today from Cernak for the service calls related to our lack of fuel. One for bringing us 10 gallons of oil to tide us over and another to restart the system. Both calls were totally Cernak’s fault and now they want us to pay for their mistake! That is not happening. Seems if anything we should have gotten a huge discount as a result of the total failure of our contracted deal with Cernak. The merger with HOP Energy is a disaster.

Even Cernak Buick stopped buying their heatng fuel here. Scammers based in New Jersey. Stay away.

They dont work with you once they find out it lower income

Service technician was friendly, arrived on time and service was prompt. However, I was charged $450 for a part that is available online for $150, so that is a 300% markup, which seems excessive.
