Great local diner. They have the deep menu you expect from a good diner and the variety is top notch. I love the Reuben sandwich. It will fill you up. The silver dollar pancakes are great for little kids. Parking can be a little tough since the lot is oddly shaped but its not too bad.
Ordered Grilled Chicken Alfredo pasta with Cesar Salad. I like the salad. It was very fresh and yummy. The pastas Alfredo sauce was contained not thoroughly melted powder and tasted extraordinary. The grilled chicken seemed too dry, and not juicy.

I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I have to say their service is always excellent and they keep the place neat all the time. Rates are affordable and they serve big portions.

A place I have been going to since I was a kid. They always have well respected employment. And there food has yet to let me down I have been going here since a baby. Im 27 now. Its got quite a few of the sinners hear beat with seniority. And well ligament. The owners do well making sure their customers are comfortable and satisfied.

So for starters, I’ve been eating here on family vacations since I was a child, I’m an Eastchester native and have been to odyssey and number of times, every time the service was above satisfactory, except this last time, first and for most, our host was wearing headphones while seating us, secondly our server did not introduce, nor did they check up on us during our meal to ask if it was good, which it was not, our waffles were over cooked, and crunchy, my girlfriends eggs were under cooked, and her home fries were mush, over all the meal was garbage, since my server didn’t ask us how our meal was I went straight to management, and once I addressed my concerns, the day manager/owner began to argue with me, and our server lied straight to the managers face when asked about our meal, stating he did everything I said he didn’t do, not only in front of us, but as well as the other people, overall, for the first time in years, I can actually say I’ll never be coming back here again, I am astonished, they ended up giving us 50% off our meal, and told me I was wrong.
Food was alright. Definitely couldve been better. Fast service but after sending back the onion soup and a chicken quesadillas I was pretty done with them.
Open late, but not overnight and not 24 hours. A staple of the local environment. Breakfast any time, it otherwise the menu may be limited after 9 PM. We always have a filling and satisfying meal here. About a mile from the Hutch, so easy off and on from highway.

Odyssey Diner is where everybody from Eastchester go to enjoy their wide selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is plenty of parking and it is so conveniently located right across from Eastchester Public Library. This is much better choice than to drive to Central Avenue and eat at fast food places.

The wait staff could be friendlier & the high prices do not justify the food - stopped in with a friend for lunch - 2 grilled cheese sandwiches w/ fries & 2 coffees came to $27(!), $31 w/ the tip(!!). Seems if you order fries w/ a grilled cheese sandwich they charge you for the sandwich & then for a side order of fries at $5.95 each. Could have gotten 2 full breakfast omelette plates w/ potatoes & toast for a lot less money! The cashier seemed uninterested in processing my bill. No eye contact, no greeting. Overpriced & unprofessional.
Typical diner, food is good if a bit overpriced. They do give huge portions though, I often wish that they would have offer half portions for a lower price.The waiters are friendly and fix any issues quickly.

Went to this diner last around 5 years ago..Food has really gone down hill since then. Ordered gyro tonight and it was probably the worst Ive ever had...I actually vomitted after I left the restaurant....the tazaki sauce looked like left over cole slaw dipped in ranch. The pita was stuffed with chopped lettuce and a couple of gyro strips laid on top. Not satisfied, other NY diners gyro is usually a treat. Best part of all was the price... Couldve taken my family to a nice steakhouse for less than what it cost to eat here.

Food was good diner eats, but the service was mediocre to sub-par. We were able to pick our own seating which I always like, but it took a number of minutes and a couple of attempts to waive a waitor over to even get a menu... They were not busy at all (we were one of 3 groups in the entire place). They forgot to bring a couple of things with our meal and they were incredibly over priced for basic meals, my turkey burger and fries came to $18!

The place used to be a staple when the owners were present. Now its run by managers and the food quality has waned lately. Burgers are always overcooked, stick with eggs.
Take out feta and spinach omelette with hash browns is great! Im just a dog, but I especially liked the buttered rye toast!
Ok food, and its rare I would put down a diner. I found the staff the five times I was there as rude and almost acting as if they were doing me a favor. The food was good and maybe they were having a bad day.. but to my experience, if you dont mind rude merchants give it a try.

The Odyssey is a local staple of a diner ... great to come for weekend breakfast (beware of the after-church crowds) or a late night bite (many a high schooler have been here). The service is adequate, I wont lie about that, and many of the servers as well as the owners/managers have been there for as long as I can remember, so they are friendly and act as though they know you....because they do!

Stuck at work, so I had a co-worker pick up an egg sandwich for me. 2 eggs, bacon, cheese on a bagel. Gave him a $20 bill and got 11.25 back for change. I called the diner to find out if this was correct, and it was, they charged $1 extra for the bagel, $1.45 extra for the extra egg. Seriously? Who does this??? The expensive Italian delis dont even charge that! Will not be back!

Last minute planning led us here. They set up a side room to accommodate 50 people and provided three choice meal with many extras and their service was excellent.
Place smelled like paint, the heat wasnt working so the place was cold. Waitress screwed up the order and disappeared at the end when we wanted our check. Food is good but pricey. I will be avoiding this place for a while.

My husband and I just left this place. We came later (2030) for dinner after a long day with our daughter. We were sat down to look at menus and we waited... and waited... after ten mins someone brought us water. We asked who our server was going to be and the guy wasnt sure. So we waited.... only to see another table be seated. Ok.. then the servers were arguing about who was going to take our table!! They must have had a disagreement over table arrangements before.What a disgrace!! We didnt come here to hear arguing about business that doesnt involve us! Very un professional. The manager or owner, whoever walked passed them during this time and told them to figure it out. My husband and I looked at each other like this isnt happening. We waited another minute and left. We live right down the street and will never be coming back to this place!
