Excellent service! We stopped in to see what they had to offer. We were wanting to upgrade our F-150 to an F-250 to haul our camper. We looked at all the trucks in the lot within our price range but nothing seemed to fit what we were looking for. She took our number and said she would let us know if she found something that might work. That evening she texted us pictures and information on a truck they had just taken in but wasnt on the lot yet. We went in the next day to test drive and decided it was a perfect fit! Time frame for service was accurate. Price for an oil change is very high. They check off items on their inspection list and stated all was good except rear breaks, but items I saw after getting the vehicle home were, brake fluid was very low, same as engine coolant. One tire air pressure was at 28 psi. They did not question why the check engine light was on. I would of thought they would address these and would of said something about the check engine light if not testing for the issue which would of taken less than three minutes.

Great truck experience everybody went over and above to help me find a truck met my needs, thanks to Michael and Blake and the rest of the crew that assisted me on the day of pickup the only issue I have is that their detailing of vehicle was not very good they were still milky film all over the doors where they didnt get them wiped off and of course are there was no touch up done on a rust spot on the bumper of the truck but overall excellent Id totally would refer them to a friend.

My 2017 explorer has a inoperable power rear seat. I investigated and determined it was complicated. I agreed to pay for the diagnostic cost. They replaced the computer that controls it but that did not fix it. Kudos to them for not charging me to not fix it. After that They told me their best technician could not figure it out so it might cost more than $800 to fix. I didn’t want a new seat so I declined letting them fix it for that price. I got it home, took it apart and found that the solenoid is that latches the seat in place was stuck. I released it. Still does not work probably because the stuck solenoid blew up the computer. Both Seats work on the left side and neither work on the right. I will get a used seat as soon as one shows up in the junkyard. That will have a computer on it. I am sure that will fix it. I am really disappointed that a factory trained mechanic could not understand and get to a solution.

Was able to purchase a 2014 Ford F150 Lariat... Beautiful truck and in great shape. Over all service started out rough but improved as the evening continued ..The effort went from 50% to 150%. Some of the questions I had, I unfortunately had to pry out the answers for.. Such as How much am I getting for my trade in?..As if my trade in value wasnt a factor. Considering my credit I would said they did a great job getting the financing in order ...Their finance associate was perfect and was honest and open. My hat is off to you Andrew A. One major factor I was expecting when buying a vehicle, is a full tank of fuel. I have purchased 3 new used cars in my life and this was the 4th ...This was the only one that only had a half a tank of fuel. All the others were full. And if I had to come back for any reason ...they would detail it and fill it up again as a courtesy. I give this review 3 stars ...I have had better but they have alot of the important fundamentals in place. Step up on the courtesy and be sure that the salesman are armed with all the important numbers if a customer ask for them...I dont know, Ill go check, is not good for sales and lowers the customers esteem about continuing the purchase. I am still satisfied in the end and Ill say GOOD JOB KUNES .....thank you for your service ...

Was driving when one of my blinkers began fast flashing, indicating a turn lamp was out. Stopped in, they quickly changed the bulb and helped me wrangle my 2 dogs. Very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and attentive to the needs of my vehicle. Would recommend them for repairs. On the other hand I had to deal with Ford for some repairs. The had sent recall for steering. I did not go in because of Covid. When I took vehicle in Ford would not cover recall and I paid out of pocket. Also had issue previously told to prior owners Renoylds. They could not figure out problem but Kunes did. This problem started into 6 months of ownership. Once again Ford said they would not cover it and I paid out of pocket. This was my first Ford truck and it will be my last. I give Kunes a thumbs up but Ford as a company caring about their customers STINKS!!!!!

The experience started off shaky. A salesman had contacted me several times about the end of lease for my car. After finding time I called him and set an appointment. When I got there at the time he suggested, it took 25 minutes of me standing at the front door before they could find him. He acted as though he didn’t remember. He had me sit down and five minutes later came by and said someone would help soon. I was confused as to why he wasn’t helping since I’d been dealing with him via email, texts and phone calls. After 15 more minutes no one came by, so I had to decide whether to leave and contact another dealer or find a manager. I finally found the manager in charge and explained how I was unhappy with this situation. He took my keys to get information and the sales manager began to work on the process of my purchasing the vehicle off my lease. He was very helpful and apologized about the situation. He explained the process (I had never purchase at the end of a lease). He found a good loan rate for me and got the process done from his part quite satisfactorily. The credit manager was very helpful and friendly. Overall the end result was good but it didn’t start out that way.

I was very skeptical of Kunes because I purchased from the old owners formerly known as Reynolds Ford and they definitely screwed me over to say the least. So far Ive had a great experience with both sales and service at Kunes Ford. Provided they can sell electric fords in the future, this will be my first stop to buy them.

I figured it was the battery, and took my car to Autozone to have them confirm it, and quote me a price on a tire. So when Kunes gave me their estimate, it seemed within reason. When they called to tell me my car was done, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was costing me about $120 less than the original quote! My only quibble was the checkout process. I went to the cashier first, they directed me to the service techs who took me back to the cashier. This process could be simplified a bit, but that’s just a nitpick.

Was real impressed with the customer service. Very nice, clean friendly staff. Would highly recommend them for your service needs.

My husband and I found a car on-line at the Kunes Sterling location. Called and spoke with Blake at Kunes of East Moline about our interest in this car. Kunes had the car taken to their East Moline location and we went to look at it. We took a test drive and then started talking to Blake and Eddie and during the conversation pointed out the back window on the driver’s side was not closing properly and that there were numerous scratches and dings that needed to be fixed. Blake went off to work on cost of the vehicle while we waited in the showroom and came back with a MSRP of $38,757 plus added items. Told him that the internet price was $37,508. Told us he would look at this and get right back with us. After waiting for an excessively long time and no one checking in our us, we walked out the door and started to drive off. Eddie came out and stopped us and we told him we were leaving as it was taking too long for the paperwork. Amazing how fast the paperwork materialized when we were ready to drive off. Blake gave us the paperwork with the price and the cost of the vehicle was adjusted with what was posted on the website and he added all sorts of things we didn’t want such as extended warranty, paint protection, etc. We drove off at that point after telling them to figure out the cost. We were already there too long. We also received an email after our visit from the General Manager asking what could be done to get our business. My husband emailed back asking the GM to call him and that never happened. We finally heard from the GM claiming there was an IT issue and he hadn’t received the email asking for him to call. During the whole process, Blake made statements that he did not follow through on. He oversold and under delivered. If we had not wanted this specific car that we did end up buying, we would have walked away for good. We do not recommend this dealership to anyone.
