So, in 2014, i was in NY, because my mom passed. My husbands car needed front brake pads replaced. My elderly parents, may they rest in peace, SWORE by Barry and so did my sister and her family. Had been going to Barry for years and was supposedly very Fair and Reasonable prices. Well, we got the bill and almost fell on the floor. Remember this is 2014. He charged us over $500 to change the front brake pads and he used a specific brand of pads, that I was able to find out what they cost to a autoshop. They were under $100. Ridiculous! I felt that we were taken advantage, since we were mourning and from out of NY. Its left such a sour taste in our mouth, even after 7 years, that we felt we should share this. Neighbors auto isnt so neighborly to the relatives of their good customers. Shame on them

Barry and the team do great work and have maintained our cars for years. Theyre honest and professional and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable shop.

Came in for a U Haul rental. Was told to acknowledge the gas tank is full, without actually seeing the van. Told employee I want to first verify the gas level. He started cursing, and threatening to charge late return fees (equivalent to 2 overnight rentals) because Im breaking his balls. He got up in my face, and I politely requested to cancel the transaction.Would never do business with this place again, and hope U Haul evaluates the people that represent their brand.

I used this place to rent a U-Haul truck. The owner has a definite attitude problem and is VERY unfriendly. He told me the trucks were only available for 4 hours at a time and when I told him that was not stated on the U-Haul website, he was pissed. He said because of me now he couldnt rent it to someone else later that day. 2 days later when he sent me my bill, he charged me for 97 miles instead of only 7. Now I have to go there and hope he straightens this out. This has been a nightmare of an experience overall. Would never do business with this man again. STAY AWAY!
