Good cookies! It’s always been pricy but they just increased all their prices even more. Notice that a deluxe cookie pack costs $1.25 than buying a la carte and that upgrading two classic cookies to a wich (+ ice cream) is a $4 upcharge, then suddenly jumps to an $8 upcharge to for deluxe cookies. Not only is it absurdly overpriced, it doesn’t even make sense!

The double chocolate cookie, along with a scoop of chocolate ice-cream is amazing. The mixture of a bite of cookie and a spoon of ice-cream in the mouth tastes phenomenal. It has this particular crunch, and it melts in mouth leaving this chocolatey taste everywhere inside.

It was a wonderful experience. The workers there were very pleasant. There was a line of people... and the staff never lost their kool.... we got our dozen cookies... and they were warm... freshly made... and so delicious! It was worth the drive down to Michigan State to get them. Will definately return!!

Ive been going here for years. The late hours are awesome, I have never been anything less than impressed. Ive always had an amazing experience there. Worth the trip for sure

The people there are so polite and helpful! We waited in a line outside to practice social distancing. The sign on the door calling masks mouth pajamas is cute. The line went fast. I got a cookiewich & loved it!! They warm the cookies. You can even pick two different cookies if you want! Picking your own combination is fun! Excited to go back and try more :)

Who doesnt love cookies? Also birthday cake ice cream is great!. Just dont try to get it delivered because it will be late even if you schedule it.

The staff has always been friendly. The cookies are soft and tasty. The ice cream is good enough. The key problem is that I only ever go here when it’s warm out and everything melts the instant I step outside. I recognize that this is my problem and not theirs

I was excited to try insomnia after several years because I remembered them being delicious. Well, I was disappointed. The cookies were warm but extremely hard. Once the snickerdoodle cookie cooled off, it was actually pretty flavorless. I’m disappointed.

It took an hour and forty five minutes for them to make one cookie that tasted like you could have bought it at subway.

Great service and great quality cookies that are warm and soft when you get them. Drinks are a little pricey but overall good experience.

The cookies are warm and tasty. They are on the small side, I could easily eat two (unless you get a deluxe cookie). The staff is super friendly. But the price is prohibitive. It is 10$ for 6 cookies. Holy hell that is expensive.

This is the third time that I’ve ordered cookies from insonmia at 12 am, well enough in the time frame and I still haven’t gotten my cookies the same day. Nor, can I contact anyone to get a refund.

Decided to stop and pick up some cookies, because its not everyday that Im in East Lansing. No one was inside placing orders, so I proceed to begin placing an order and the cashier tells me I need to go online to place an order because it would be 30 minute wait because they have 1000s of orders. really upset me that I couldnt place an order inside the store like any other place and wait for it, before Covid you could order online and in store no matter how busy, so all of a sudden its not possible. how about close the inside and say order online only. Super Annoyed. Might not ever go back.

I was on hold for between 11-13 minutes 3 times, and was hung up on twice. In order to let them know I was there for curbside pickup I would have to wait on hold using the same centralized call center line for (presumably) another 11-13 minutes and hope i wasnt hung up on that time.The call center people I talked to were very nice, but explained that there was no other option for contact less pickup, and unfortunately Im just outside of their delivery range.

I loved insomnia cookies and I have for a long time but tonight rubbed me in such a wrong way I’m not sure I can go back. I placed an order for Curbside and I couldn’t go in because I had forgotten my mask. The number they emailed for curbside was a different number than their website listed and wasn’t even a real number. Long story short I sat outside attempting to contact someone to just pick up my order for half an hour and received nothing. So I paid for my cookies and couldn’t even enjoy them because they decided not to have a working phone..

Awesome cookies, warm and not hard whatsoever. Hard to go wrong with what you pick here. Only been here once but it was worth it.

Great Customer Service from Kenneth M.!! He made the trip in the snow worth it. Never know what to get and he helped me pick what I wanted. All were great option too! It was beyond giving recommendations but also being friendly and inviting.

I just went in for the first time and the younger guy with brown hair was very rude to me. I didn’t know how all the steps to the monster cookie worked and he treated me like I was dumb. Ice cream was decent but he ruined my whole first experience. 0/10 would not recommend to go at night while he’s works.

Ordered cookies. After 30m late we call. They forgot to do our order. They are 3.5 miles down the road. They tell us 20mins longer. 40minutes later they still havent arrived. They say woops another 20minutes. Finally over 1h 30m late we get cold cookies delivered. At no point did they contact us. We had to keep reaching out to them.

Just had 6 cookies n 2 scoops of ice cream.....red velvet were amazing but strawberry shortcake were hard as rock may b 3-4 days old or may b more. n I specifically mentioned in my order to plz send the fresh stock.😭

Wonderful staff! Always makes me bigwhiches and they are full of frosting! I go about 2-3 times a week. Used to go every night! But trying to cut back to save money and so i dont gain too much more weight! Sarah and Kevin are my 2 favorite employees (not his actual name but i always forget it and call him Kevin)

Cute small little cookie shop! I enjoyed the cookies they were warm and delicious! However the woman behind the counter could use a bit more personality or maybe just smile a bit! But Ill definitely be back next time Im in town!

I go to get cookies only to be refused service cause of my mask I go back out n grab it “my mask “ once I get it on the staff was more than rude, the guy in the bck a white male says yeah we take it more serious than others ..??? I’m like ok .... I Say I was just in here Sunday n didn’t need a mask... I get my cookies and go to my car parked out front .. as I’m sitting there I see a delivery guy get out his car with no mask didn’t sanitize his hands walk to the back of the store n come bck out , so I go back to the door and ask the cashier why didn’t he have to have a mask on she says he works here n have a medical condition, which I found interesting I have a few medical conditions that says I can’t wear a mask , but she never asked y I didn’t have one on. Just rude from the jump! Neither of them Represents insomnia cookies well! I come here all the time and never felt that I was discriminated against until tonight! Them two should not be working for insomnia cookies if that’s the way they handled quest!

Nice cookie place and really great that theyre open late but otherwise I dont really consider their cookies anything special. Did I order them a lot to my apartment when I was intoxicated and lived on campus? Yes, yes I did and I will forever be grateful for those nights.

Ok, now this place is a darling! Always gooey warm and delicious cookies! Nice small but cozy workplace, friendly staff and quick service. I highly recommend the mint cookie sandwich with strawberry cheesecake ice cream!

Half of our cookies were raw. Even went back to get them baked longer, was told they were okay to eat. Needless to say, we got some fresh cookies that were the same. Im sorry but there is not a snickerdoodle cookie out there that has a raw gooey center. For what amounts to $4.75 for 3 cookies, you would think they would be better than the 14 you can get at McDonalds for $3.99.

Dropped in because it was on my bucket list. Service was amazing; she was patient while we picked out our big order. Got home after a couple hours and tried them: they were to die for! Best cookies Ive ever had. Highly recommend!

We had food that was never delivered and a restaurant that wouldn’t pick up our call. I was still charged for everything of course. Restaurant couldn’t care less.

The cookies are great and the ice cream is much improved but the prices are so ridiculously high.

Insomnia is a perfect spot to get a mid-night snack when you’re up doing whatever you’re up to. The cookies are great on their own, but make it a deluxe cookie, and have them throw down some mint-chocolate ice cream between that? Now you’re doing it right. ✌️

Absolutly terrible costumer service, a friend and I went in to get a late night snack and not one of the four people inside greeted us nor responded when we said hello, one person even continued to sweep around us as the other three walked into the back. If the cookies are fresh they’re great, but I’m not sure they’re worth the terrible costumer service!

You dont get quality or service at this location. Employees are always to high out of their minds to have a work ethic. Our dozen cookies were burned or raw and that is the usual here.

Honestly, idk why theyre so popular. I mean it seems like Freshman are literally hiking from East Campus to get some insomnia cookies. I like cookies just as much as anyone else, but theyre kinda sweet. And they taste like they were made a while ago. Im not saying dont get some cookies if you want some, but are you really goimg to have cookies delivered to you? I guess theyre open late, so if its the only thing open and youre up late

I mean theyre obviously good if a student on campus ordered 2 dozen at 1:00am, made a bedsheet rope, and climbed through his window to sneak out of his dorm to retrieve them.

I usually LOVE to come here but tonight I was extremely disappointed. When my friend and I first got there, the only lady working was sitting outside smoking a cigarette. We stood inside for a good 3 minutes before she put out her smoke to come help us. She DID NOT wash her hands before touching the cookies and I was beyond disgusted. Then, we sat outside and she and a few others from both Insomnia and Taco Bell came out and were smoking and cussing up a storm. Every other word they said was the f bomb. My friend and I were just trying to enjoy our cookies but we ended up leaving the area because of the hostility and smoke around us while trying to eat. I will not be going back anytime soon.

Great Insomnia Cookies location, service was pretty quick and nobody in line when we visited. Close to campus and they are a hot commodity! Fantastic cookies, truly rivaled only by the DoubleTree hotel.

Tonight was my first time placing an order with Insomnia Cookies in East Lansing...and all I can say is I will NEVER order from them again or recommend them to anyone. They have a promo going on for an extra 3 cookies for free when you order delivery and there was no code needed which I thought was strange...so when I ordered I wrote in the message box, please dont forget my 3 free chocolate chunk cookies! When my order came, my message on the receipt was highlighted and the guy Nick who delivered the cookies did not mention that they wouldnt give me the 3 free cookies unless I put them in my order but if I did that I would of been charged for it...so I called the store and the lady who answered the phone told me they could do nothing for me considering I didnt put them on my order, but I put it in the messages box and it was highlighted on the receipt. Very mad because obviously someone saw it but could not call me and mention that it couldnt be processed without ordering them. So my friends and I all had to split the cookies I ordered and there werent enough. Anyways, im very mad with how they handled the situation therefore they will not get my business again.

The name fits this place perfectly as you will stay awake thinking about these cookies! They are a tad pricey, and usually the cookies you want are not quite ready yet and will have to wait for them, but the wait is totally worth the delicious warm cookies you will receive.

Ordered food at 10:38pm, got it delivered at 12:16 AM. Customer service would refuse to give me a refund. AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAITING! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! And Ive heard their coming to CALIFORNIA! I WILL TELL CALIFORNIA THAT YOU TAKE 2 HOURS DELIVERIES AND WONT GIVE REFUNDS. AND YOYR WARM BROWNY IS VOLD AS HELL.

Can pick them up at the location or have them delivered right to your door in the middle of the night. Come warm with the right gooey middle and crispy edges. I find myself constantly craving them!

After placing an order, I waiting over an hour and still had heard nothing from Insomnia about delivery status. Im located less than 2 miles from the store. Then, I checked the so called cookie tracker and saw that my cookies were still baking even after an hour since I ordered. Its 12:30am now and Ive been sitting on hold with customer service for 15 minutes with no response. I never get angry at businesses, I never write bad reviews when they are undeserving, but I have never had worse customer service.

We tried the delivery service. When she brought it to our door she informed us she dropped it, which made the raw (because they werent cooked all the way) cookies smoosh together in the box. Poor quality and service.

Pre-ordered cookies a day ahead of time to send to girlfriend for Valentines Day and after being 2 hours late she was asleep (and they said it would likely be yet another hour until delivery). Ruined my surprise and wasted my time. They did give me coupon for free cookies when I cancelled but its with purchase only and I dont plan on buying anything from them again.
