Very friendly staff and exceptional products but I don’t recommend purchasing any tech you would consider a necessity from here. Was left computer-less for over five weeks due to disorganization/carelessness. Would recommend just buying your computer from Best Buy instead.

Small but had some good stuff. Tech people are willing to talk with you about your computer. BUT just to visit you must pay $2 minimum to park. Therefore not worth it. MSU wants to squeeze every bit they can.

This is a great resource for anyone at MSU. They offer good tech support for free (it turns out that if youre a student at MSU you can get Microsoft office for free). Most of the time it isnt too busy, so you can get one on one customer service.

MSU tech store is a great place for students to get a good deal on the technology they need to be successful and great support throughout the life of that tech! They help your student get the right device so they can focus on school not on the technology.

Great convenience for students needing something same-day and/or not knowing a ton about computers and other technology......but otherwise you’ll save quite a bit of money by just shopping online and comparing prices. Only reason I give 3 stars is that the employees seemed nice the one time I went in (for a free software license key), and I was able to get a university discount through Lenovo by shipping a computer to them first and ordering through a special web portal.

Great if you need something without leaving campus. Otherwise, I would look to the internet or various malls In the area if you want a real selection.

The students working here are a huge help and a great resource for anyone on campus. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable about their jobs, and enjoyable to speak with.

Service was terrible and dismissive. Walked out with the understanding that the website was te only thing that would help. MSU can do better!

Came here to pick out a new laptop and everyone was so helpful and kind. They know which computer is right for your major and at least in my experience they were more focused on helping you than upselling which was really nice. Prices are very comprable to other stores as well.

This store has terrible customer support over the phone. I was waiting for almost an hour on hold. Yes, I do admit that they are very nice people once you actually talk with them but it takes much too long.

Good service but the items suck. I got a 32gb flash drive that came out of its housing and the port bent in at one point. Was $15 to get. They also have outrageous prices. They had 4 ft charging cables that were $15. I got three 2 meter ones for half that.

Very helpful. Have anything you might need to help you along in your college career.

They only have 20 or so laptops and the prices are steep, dont go here unless you need a computer that day and cant go anywhere else. Shop around instead.However the employees here are really nice.

Good deals for msu students

They took care of my broken laptop (Im assuming because I havent gotten it back yet) but the loner they gave me has not been updated in years so I cant access MSUs D2L. I tried to upgrade it but I need their username and password and they dont have any service on the weekends. This means I cant do any of my homework. If you go here for a loner make sure theyve updated it since 2007.

If you need a repair dont even bother with this place, just take it straight to digilink

Tried calling to ask a simple question, was on hold for 10+ minutes, a tech store should have a higher priority to answer the phone
