I have been getting comics and games there for several years. The staff is friendly and helpful, several times they have had stellar suggestions based on other things Ive liked. The few times they havent had the board game I wanted, they were able to order it quickly.

Excellent artmosphere for gaming, especially for Magic: the Gathering. Many events available and employees that listen to player feedback. Fair prices, reasonable stock, and friendly people. Only complaint is when big events happen it can feel a bit cramped. Excellent store overall.

(Full disclosure: I currently work at Hollow, this was written prior to my employment) Hollow Mountain is the best place in East Lansing for comics, games, or just a fun place to hang out in between classes. Its a regular Nerd Mecca. The owners, Gabe and Aaron, a very friendly and approachable, and you can easily see their passion for their store. The owners seem very interested in building a community around their store, and are well on their way to achieving it. They host a different event every night of the week, so there is always something interesting going on. Great Atmosphere, Stop in and say hi.

If youre going in for TCGs this is the place for you, tons of accessories and singles for MTG, as well as local play events. The comic selection is somewhat small, but they carry just about every mainstream book from the big guys, as well as some small press. Staff is quiet but eager to help if asked upon.

The shop is not huge but the staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. If you need some advice they will help you out as best they can. They have a decent selection for their size and the space is nicely laid out.

Decent enough place. Friendly staff and simple enough to find. Was here for an event so didnt get to look around much. Had fun though and all the players were friendly and professional.

I stocked up. Spent $99 the first time I went in here. Its the first comic book store Ive been able to find

As far as TCG shops go, this one is alright. Nothing stands out in particular. They have very few singles for sale in house as most are listed on their TCG Player account and are not in store for viewing. 3/5 simply because Ive seen much better.

Very small store, however I found what I needed, staff is friendly and very responsive. I think it’s more focused for role playing than comics. No front parking but you can park in the corner of the street and walk less than 2 minutes.

Because they play pokemon on Tuesdays. Play magic the gathering on fridays. Have comics its like the stuff you want to do. Youre at home bored all the time playing by yourself and when a guest comes youre all up on them why cause you want them to play with you

Love Hollow Mountain! All the guys that work there are super knowledgeable and super helpful. My kids and I all have pulls, and the guys are just as helpful to my kids as they are to me, and that scores lots of cool points.

Friendly staff. They know their customers well enough to hold comics of interest, even without having a comic pull for it. Events are small enough that they dont take 8 hours.

Nice shopkeeper and really enthusiastic crowd. Bought my first pack of magic cards in months and got a planeswlker. I consider that to be a good omen. Great selection of comics too. My new go to place.

This location needs air conditioning, otherwise it can get uncomfortably warm. I dont know if they dont have it or it wasnt on when I was there. I like the wide selection of comics and games.

The store offers a wide variety of board games and novelty items not found at simular stores. The store also functions as and Pokêmon league and sells a wide variety of Magic: The Gathering cards.

I spent a little less than a week in East Lansing, and I happened to be away from my LCS. Hollow Mountain is full of cool people who are eager to help and really enjoy talking comics. The store is clean and everything is where it should be.

Called lots and didnt pick up. Made a special trip and found out they changed their hours. Came back when they posted on their door they would be open and they were still closed. Every time I go there they are closed, even when they say they should be open
