This is a great place to get your textbooks! I have been using Collegeville throughout my years at Michigan State University. The staff are always very friendly and willing to answer questions. Definitely recommend this place as it makes getting textbooks for classes super easy.

Collegeville is a good place to buy textbooks for MSU students. You can reserve your textbooks ahead of time and go in and pick them up, making for a very simple process. Being able too sell back nearly all of your books for half price is a great value. Helpful staff and good location as well.

Left my job early as I was working till 7 to pick up a book real quick that I needed to take a quiz for. I get there 2-3 minutes before closing and see that the staff already locked the door before 7(closing time). I knocked and told him it was not 7 yet, reply I got was him laughing behind the counter. Awful staff happened today 1/28/2020.

Well organized, in alphabetical order for each class and the guy that helped with the coursepack was very easily able to grab them for me. Overall a super nice experience that made me feel as thought the management of the store truly values my time.

I love that I am able to reserve my books in advance and just pick them up before the semester starts. I wish that they would tell you how much your reserved order is, by email or phone, before you go and pay for them. I went in and asked last semester and they looked at me like I was crazy for asking, but I do not always have that kind of money and need to take it out of savings, so it would be extremely convenient to know the price ahead of time! Please add this feature to your reservation option!!

Have always had my books each semester of every year; good service for such a busy place usually in and out within 5-10 minutes with my reservation. Some people say it’s expensive but textbooks just are, some semesters I’ve had $300 in books some I’ve had $90 it just depends but isn’t their fault.

The prices are pretty competitive for textbooks plus they handle all the work of finding and procuring them if you make a reservation for books. Usually dont need more than 10 minutes to get whatever you need from here.

Great service, lowest prices in town. I recommend reserving books on their website.

Awful customer service experience. One of the owners, Ken Kerbyson, was very rude and unwilling to help me out on a recent purchase. He pretty much kicked me out of the store and told me shop somewhere else. This man clearly doesn’t care about his customers so it looks like I’ll do my book shopping at the spartan and student book stores. Do yourself a favor and get professional help at real bookstores like the spartan book store and student book store, NOT COLLEGEVILLE!!

Terrible customer service. Called ahead to try and pay over the phone for pre reserved text books and they wouldnt let me, thats fine. But then I proceeded to ask how much the total was to pre plan how we would be paying the the man on the phone said that they do not total up reservations before purchase. He said the store was too busy for him to walk and get it. Also when I asked for a manager, because everyone else I had spoken to previously was far more helpful, he claimed he was an owner. If thats how the owner treats people Id rather not spend a dime here. Many other, better places to get books.

Better prices than the store in the International Center or SBS. If I have to buy a book, this store is my first choice in EL.
